It was for Venmo. And I won't mention the person's name, but, um, They sent $1,500. Praise the Lord. That's a good down payment for our flight. Our tickets are going to cost about five grand. So we need to raise another 3,500 to pay for that. But you pray for us for that, okay? We're trying to get the best deal, but also, you know, the right tickets. And we don't want to be on an, I don't want to have a baby on an airplane for 25 hours or anything like that. So, or Hannah for that matter. or Mrs. Bicey. So we're, we're trying to make sure that, that we get a straight flight there and back and all that stuff. So it's not actually that more expensive in March, if we can get it nailed down to nine to 10 days in March. So we need another $3,500 for that. Uh, but praise the Lord that right after that broadcast, someone put that in there and Or message me and said, Hey, I'm going to send this to you. And they sent it to me. So praise the Lord. Yes, I do need her with me, yeah. I agree. I agree. So anyway, all right, let's get to it. Matthew 13, we're gonna talk about, is Judas Iscariot the Antichrist? Actually, that's the, let me see here. That's the wrong scripture. I need Psalm 55. Now we are reviewing, we are reviewing A.W. Pink's book on the Antichrist. Okay, we're reviewing A.W. Pink's book. I would highly recommend you buy that book. Now, I do not agree with everything A.W. Pink says. You know, he's a hyper-Calvinist, but he has got to be one of the best expositors on some subjects. And he is somebody that when you start reading, his materials, they are hard to put down. He was a very gifted writer, very gifted writer and a pastor and all of that. So anyway, I have been thoroughly blessed. I cut my teeth on those men, spiritual teeth on those men and their writings when I was a young Christian over 20 years ago. So when all this, fake repentance and all this other nonsense came up. I looked at these people and I'm like, where do you people come from? What planet do you people come from? Obviously I had the scriptures, but I also read after good men and I'm like, where in the world are these people coming from? So, Psalm 55, we're gonna read, we're gonna read, from A.W. Pink's book, his chapter on the Antichrist will be Judas reincarnated. Now, you may not agree with this. That's okay. It is something for you to think about though. It is something that you should look at. He's definitely a picture of the Antichrist, but will he be the actual Antichrist? AWP makes a pretty compelling argument. And it's one that I have always, since I learned of it through the scriptures, I've always looked at it like, you know, yeah, there's definitely something there with that. You know, there's, there's definitely something there. Psalm 55 much is said of the Antichrist in his relation to Israel So look at verse 21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter But war was in his heart. His words were softer than oil Yet were they drawn swords? Good to have you on here Becca You know, here's what, this reminds me of Trump's second coming here in office. I'm telling you, it just does. We'll see. We'll see. He's definitely coming the spirit of Antichrist, but the words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart His words were softer than oil Yet were they drawn swords? The occasion for this sad plant plant is given in the previous verse He had put forth his hands against such Look what it says in verse 20 yet put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him. He has broken his covenant and Now the reference here is AWP makes is to the Antichrist breaking the seven-year covenant with the Jews in Daniel chapter 9 verse 27 and Daniel chapter 11 verse 21 through 24. So Daniel chapter 9 Now, again, you may not agree with all the conclusions of the timing of the rapture. That doesn't really make a difference as far as the identity of the man of sin, right? It doesn't really make that much of a difference. So don't take that I agree with everything A.W. Pink is saying here because I'm reading this to you. I'm not going to get it. Remember, the focus of this is going to be the identity of the Antichrist. It's not really the timing of everything else around and all that. It's just, I want you to focus and think about Judas. Daniel chapter 9 verse 27, he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation. And that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Now let me say this, I absolutely 1,000,000% believe that there is a temple being built and there will be a temple, a third temple built in Jerusalem. Absolutely. Absolutely. Is it the Pope? Is it the false prophet? Is he the false prophet? Is the man of sin different? Will the papacy, will the Pope be a Jew? Will he be one that draws them all together? Good question. Daniel chapter 11, verse 21 to 24. And in his estate shall stand up a vile person to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom, but he shall come in peaceably and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him and shall be broken. Yea, also the prince of the covenant. And after the league made with him, he shall work deceitfully For he shall come up and shall become strong with a small people. He shall enter peaceably, even upon the fattest places of the province, and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his father's fathers. He shall scatter among them the prey and spoil and riches. Yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strongholds, even for a time. Now if the entire psalm, says AW Pink, be read, with these things in mind, it will be seen that it sets forth the sorrows of Israel and the sighings of the godly remnant during the end time. But the remarkable thing is that when we come to verse 11 through 14, we find that which is a double application and fulfillment. Wickedness is in the midst thereof. Deceit and guile depart not from her streets, for it was not an enemy that reproached me, then I could have borne it. Neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me. Let's turn back to Psalm 55 for that. Remember, wickedness is the midst thereof. Deceit and guile depart not from your streets. For it was not an enemy that reproached me, then I could have borne it. Neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me. Then I would have hid myself from him. But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together and walked into the house of God in company. Betrayal. There's no worse sting that a preacher will ever go through, that people will ever go through, but that a pastor will ever go through, and that Christ ever went through, Then that sting of betrayal, right? The sting of betrayal. See, this describes Judas. also, which I believe you could be describing the same person. These verses describe not only the base treachery of Judas toward Christ, but they also announce how he shall yet, when reincarnated in the Antichrist, betray and desert Israel. The relation of Antichrist to Israel will be precisely the same that of Judas to Christ of old. He will pose as a friend of the Jews, but later he will come out in his true character. In the tribulation period, the nation of Israel shall taste the bitterness of betrayal and desertion by one who masqueraded as a familiar friend. Hence we have here the first hint that the Antichrist will be Judas. He's pleased it's gonna be a mock incarnation. a mock reincarnation, right? Because Satan can't do a virgin birth. He doesn't have that power. So then because Satan doesn't have that power to do that, he has to mock it some way. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled. And your agreement with hell shall not stand when the overflowing scourge shall pass through. Then you shall be trodden down by it." Isaiah 28, 18. The covenant referred to is that seven year one, which is mentioned in Daniel 9, 27. But here, the one with whom this covenant is made is termed death and hell. This is the title of the Antichrist. As the resurrection, the life is the true Christ. Remember, we talked about that. Jesus Christ is the resurrection, the life. Well, who is he? Who is Satan? Death and hell. Who's the Antichrist? He's death and hell. He's the counterfeit, right? He's the opposite. He's a counterfeiter and he's the opposite. Nor is this verse in Isaiah 28 the only one where the Son of Perdition is denominated. In Revelation 6, a fourfold picture of Him is given, kind of like the fourfold portrayal of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels is given. Here he is seen as the rider on different colored horses, which bring before us four stages in his awful character. And when we come to the last of them, the Holy Spirit exposes his true identity by telling us. Let's turn to Revelation chapter six and look at those. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals and I heard as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, come and see. And I saw and behold a white horse and he that sat on him had a bow and a crown was given unto him. And he went forth conquering and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, come and see. And there went out another horse that was red and power was given to him that sat there on to take peace from the earth. and that they should kill one another. And there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse, and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, measure of wheat for a penny, three measures of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, come and see. So we get down to verse eight, look what it says. And I looked and behold a pale horse and his name that sat on him was death and hell followed with him. Death and hell followed with him. Power is given to him over the fourth part of the earth to kill with a sword with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth Now hell is the place which receives the souls of the dead and the fact that this awful name is here applied to the Antichrist Intimates That he has come from there. See he's gonna get in us explain this but what it intimates is is that The Antichrist came from hell. Or he's going to come from hell at the time that this is written. We'll get into that, okay? We'll show you that. Above we referred to Matthew 12, 41 to 43 to prove the Antichrist would be a superhuman being, a fallen and unclean spirit. We turn to it again in order to show that this coming incarnation of Satan has previously been upon earth. The history of this unclean spirit is divided into three stages. Let's go to Matthew 12. It says, when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places seeking rest and findeth none. And he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out. And when he has come, he findeth it swept and garnished, empty, swept and garnished. Then goeth he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself. And they enter in and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. So the history of this unclean spirit is divided into three stages. First, as having dwelt in a man. Second, as having gone out of a man and walking through dry places, seeking rest and finding none. This has reference to his present condition during the interval between the two appearances on earth. Third, he says, I will return to my house. This unclean spirit then, who has already been here, who is now away in a place where rest is not to be found, is to come back again. Now, this seems somewhat of a mystery, doesn't it? You're like, what are you talking about? No, it makes sense. I'll show you. Turn to John 17. Verse 12. Jesus said, while I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gavest me, I have kept, and none of them is lost. But the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled. There's only two times son of perdition is used. It is there in John, speaking of Judas. It is here again in 2 Thessalonians 2, speaking of the Antichrist. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Okay, let's look at that, son. of perdition. Twice. Look at the references to it. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition. that the scripture might be fulfilled. Who's the son of perdition? Judas. He's the one that was lost. Here's another one. John 6, 70. Jesus answered them. Jesus answered them. Have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil? Who's the devil? Judas. Judas We find that the Antichrist is Designated the man of sin who to be revealed the son of perdition These are the only two places in all the Bible where his name occurs and the fact that Judas was termed by Christ Not a son of perdition Right, let's look at that but the son of perdition. I have an every word Bible, but the son of perdition. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first. And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Jesus called him the son of perdition, Judas. Paul calls the antichrist the son of perdition. He didn't say a son of perdition, he said the son of perdition. This is not popular, this type of, why? Oh, cause you're not supposed to know this stuff and you're not supposed to, and, and no, you can't do that. No, you can't do it. Well, read what it says. Just cause it makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean it's wrong. That's what happened to my sister. She was destroyed in the worst way in the end. They even did her story on Law and Order. Honestly, I am not sure what you're talking about. I don't know where that comment came from. I'm not trying to be insensitive, Jody. I just didn't see it, and I don't know what you're talking about. I'm sorry that that happened to your sister, but I have no clue what you mean by that. that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. And the fact that the man of sin is so named proved that they are one in the same person. What other conclusion can a simple and unprejudiced reader of the Bible come to? Amen. In Revelation 11, 7, we have the first reference to the beast in the apocalypse. It says, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit. Let's look at that. This is getting gooder. I'm telling you, it's getting gooder. And verse seven, Revelation 11, seven. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them. The beast ascends out of the bottomless pit. I don't know how I skipped that. Let me back up a little bit here. So we have the son of perdition, we talked about him, but let us consider the teaching of scripture, consider Judas Iscariot. Was he, he was a man, but was he more than a man? John 6, 7, he says, have not I chosen you, 12, and one of you is a devil? Judas then was the devil incarnate. We'll get back to that in a minute. Make sure I didn't miss anything else. No, I did. Okay. Sorry about that. I guess I said that already, but I did that off memory. the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit, hear the Antichrist is seen issuing forth from the abyss. What is the abyss? It is the abode of lost spirits, the place of their incarceration and torment. Let's look at Revelation 20. Verse one through three. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan. and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that, he himself be loosed a little season. Okay, how about Luke 8 31? Let's look at that. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. What's the deep? It's the bottomless pit, it's the abyss. He didn't want him to go to the bottomless pit. The deep is the abyss. Well, how did he get there? By the way, let's look at Matthew 9. The question naturally arises, how did he get there? And when was he sent there? We answer, when Judas Iscariot died. And that the Antichrist will be Judas Iscariot reincarnated. In proof of this, we appeal to Acts 1.25. Let's look at these verses. And they prayed and said, Thou Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of these two thou has chosen that he may take part of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. Judas would go to his own place. Of no one else in all the Bible is it said that at death he went to his own place. But these two scriptures together, Judas went to his own place and the beast that ascends out of the abyss give us some really good clues, don't they? Now let's turn to Revelation chapter 17. because this is gonna give us another clue. The beast that thou sawest was. Okay. Pay attention. The beast that thou sawest was and is not and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. and go into perdition. Who goes into perdition? The son of perdition. Judas. The beast that thou sawest was, so the beast that thou sawest was here, was on earth, was among us, And is not now, right? And is not. So what does that mean? He is not right now. He's not, he's not here. Where is he? He's in the bottomless pit. Because he shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. He was here before. He's not here now and he's gonna come out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition. They that dwell on the earth shall wonder whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world when they behold the beast that was and is not and yet is. What does that mean? He was, he is not, but yet he is. Simple. He is in the bottomless pit and he's going to ascend out of the bottomless pit. This verse is generally understood to refer to the revived Roman empire while allowing that such an application is warrantable. Yet we are persuaded it is a mistake to limit it to this. I believe it is that seventh and eighth that go into the perdition, right? It's the beast as a system and it's the beast as a man. It's both. It's the system and the man. Because many times in Revelation, the system and the man are interchangeable. The government and the man are interchangeable. Just like with Christ, the government shall be upon his shoulders. So as with the antichrist. Same thing. So you can't, you know, you shouldn't limit it. to just the system itself. You know, the government or the beast system itself, because it's more than that. It's the man too. Remember, remember Nebuchadnezzar was the beast. He was a man. He was a beast. And he controlled both. Same thing. Same thing. Okay. Remember that. Okay. So let's continue on. This verse is generally understood to be that revived Roman Empire, while allowing that such an application is warrantable. Yet we are persuaded as a mistake to limit it to this. In the apocalypse, the Roman Empire and its final and satanic head are very closely connected, so much so that at times it is difficult to distinguish between them. But in Revelation 17, they are distinguishable. In verse eight, we are told that the beast shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, that he shall go into perdition. In verse 11, we are told, and the beast that was and is not, even he is the eighth and is of the seven and goeth into perdition. So we see that, again, in verse 11, we are told, Now, nearly all expositors agree that the beast of verse 11, the eighth, the head, and the form of the government of the Roman Empire is the Antichrist himself. Then why not admit the same of verse eight? In both, the designation is the same. The beast, and in both, we are told, he goeth into perdition. Amen. Makes sense, doesn't it? So we continue on. Reading this and looking at this and examining it, it's fascinating, isn't it? This book is fascinating. The Bible is so fascinating when you just go word for word and you look at what it says. The beast in both of these, right, the eighth, the head of the form of the government of the Roman Empire, is the Antichrist himself. Then why not admit the same in verse eight? In both, the designation is the same, the beast. And in both, we are told, they goeth into perdition. We take it then that what is predicted of the beast in Revelation 17, 8 is true of both the Roman Empire and its last head, the Antichrist, of the former in the sense that it is infernal in its character. Viewing it now as a declaration of the Antichrist, what does it tell us about him? Four things. First, he was, he was. Second, he is not. Third, he shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. Fourth, he shall go into perdition. The various time marks here concern the beast in his relation to the earth. First, he was, i.e., on the earth. Second, he is not, i.e., now on the earth. just like Enoch was not, for God took him. Third, he shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, where he is now. Fourth, he shall go into perdition. We learn then from the scripture that at the time the apocalypse was written, Revelation, the beast was not. then on the earth, but that he had been on it formerly. Further, we learn that in John's day, the beast was then in the bottomless pit, but should yet ascend out of it. Here then is further evidence that the Antichrist, who is yet to appear, has been on earth before. Now, you know something, it makes a lot of sense. And let me stop right there and we'll say a few things here about this. Okay? Only one time has this happened. Simon, I want you to turn to John 13, John chapter 13. Simon Peter, therefore, beckoned to him. They're trying to figure out who is the betrayer. Who is the counterfeit apostle? Who is the deceitful worker, transforming himself into the apostle of Christ? Who is he? Simon Peter therefore beckoned him that he should ask who it should be of him whom he spake. He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? Jesus answered he it is to whom I shall give a sop When I have dipped it and when he had dipped the sop he gave it to Judas Iscariot the son of Simon And after the sop look pay attention here's your third or fourth witness Satan entered into him Nowhere in the Bible for any other person Does it say that Satan the devil Entered into him Literally like my English friends say literally literally not literally but literally Satan entered into him. Literally entered into him. And Jesus looked at him and said, then said Jesus unto him, that thou doest do quickly. Now let's, and we'll finish up with this study, but let's ask a few questions. I mean, we're not gonna finish with this study. We're gonna look at the names and the titles of the Antichrist in our next study, which is probably Monday. But we'll finish up for today here in a little while, but we got a little time. But let's look at this, okay? Satan entered into him. Who better? By the way, look what it says. Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. For some of them thought because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, buy those things that we have need of against the feast, or that he should give something of the poor. He then receiving the sop, went immediately out, and it was night. Therefore when he was gone out, when he left, Jesus said, now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. So let's ask a few questions here. By the way, this is the one I did yesterday, or Wednesday, sorry. But let's ask a few questions. Whoops, wrong one. Here's some questions as we look at it. Who better, who better to deceive that he is Christ than Judas Iscariot? Judas followed Christ for three and a half years. He watched him. He learned of him. He watched Christ's mannerisms. He watched Christ heal people. He watched Christ's dealings with people. Who better, honestly, than Judas to be the Antichrist. Jesus said, have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil? Jesus said that Judas was a devil. No one else has been called a devil like that. No one else has ever had Satan enter into him. No one else accepted money to betray Jesus. 30 pieces of silver. No one else had a phony repentance. Judas went out and hung himself. Why? He had the sorrow of this world. He had what I call Judas repentance. It's the sorrow of this world that worketh death. Judas deceived every disciple of Jesus. So if Judas could deceive the disciples, the apostles, Don't you think that he'll be able to deceive by the power of Satan who entered into him? That he will be able to deceive the nation of Israel? That he will be able to deceive the entire nation of Jews? I mean, he knew how to mimic Christ. He knew how to counterfeit Christ. He watched him for three and a half years. He ate, drank, and slept with him. He watched his miracles and how he did it. Judas watched every miracle. Judas saw every way that Jesus acted. He's going to be able to mimic him perfectly. He betrayed him once and he will betray him again. the nation of Israel. It says, and after the sop Satan entered into him, literally Lucifer entered into him. What is that? That's, Yes, I absolutely believe that. Jody Ham said, so you think Judas will be back in the flesh? No, not possibly. Yes, I absolutely believe he will be. Absolutely. Yes, I do believe that. Yep. But hey, I could be wrong. But is there any other son of perdition? Is there anybody else that had not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil? Has anybody else ever been called a devil like that? Has anybody else ever had Satan enter into them like that? Has anyone else ever went to their own place? Nope. What do you mean by how? by the power of Satan. I just read you the scriptures. I mean, you don't have to agree with me. This is not like a separation doctrine or something, but there's a lot of compelling evidence, a whole lot. Who's the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit? That he was and he is not? Satan has to mock the incarnation. He has to mock, so what does he do? He enters into him. That's what he does. Okay. Just like, let's see, let's go back. We learned that for the scriptures that at the time of the apocalypse was written, the beast was not then on the earth, but that he had been on it formerly. Further, we learned that in John's day, the beast was then in the bottomless pit, but should ascend out of it. Here then is further evidence that the Antichrist, who is yet to appear, has been on earth before. All right, let's go to Revelation 19, 20. Man, it is a trip, I know, it's unreal. If somebody disagrees with me, I'm not gonna be mad, like it's cool, it's okay, it's prophecy. Okay, I can be wrong about prophecy, so can you. I'm not wrong about Jesus Christ. I'm not wrong about repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm not wrong about Jesus being God. I'm not wrong about those things. Could I be wrong about this? Sure, it's a possibility. Right? I mean, it's a possibility. So I'm not saying this is like gospel here. I'm not saying that at all. The gospel is the gospel, right? But there's sure some compelling arguments for it. There ain't no other son of perdition. Right? There is no other son of perdition. No, it's cool. Listen, I'm not one of those guys that if you don't agree with me, if you don't agree with me about who Jesus is, then yeah, I don't want anything to do with you. But if you disagreed with me about prophecy or something like that, that's totally different. I'm not like that. I have friends that are pre-trib and I love them and it's cool. I mean, I hope they're right and I'm wrong. I'd love that. Okay, Revelation 19, 20, and the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive in the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him. These both were cast alive, right? This gives the last word concerning the Antichrist. It makes known the terrible fate which awaits him. He together with his ally will be cast alive in the lake of fire. This is very striking and confirms what has been said above, namely that the Antichrist will be one who has already appeared on earth and has been in the abyss during the interval which precedes his return to the earth. That's what Revelation 19, 20 corroborates. The Antichrist will not be cast eventually into the abyss as Satan will be at the end of the millennium. but into the lake of fire, which is the final abode of the damned, as we see there in Revelation 20. And I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand and laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan and bound him a thousand years and cast him in the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal upon him that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that, he must be loosed a little season. So What you see with Judas is some very compelling evidence. What is he just a type? Well, the Antichrist is called the son of perdition. Judas is called the son of perdition. Okay, let's review the facts, okay? Because that's the best way to look at this. And then you study it yourself. I would encourage you to do that for sure. I've, I've come to this understanding or pretty close to it, bounce back and forth on it for 20 years. I just, I don't, I don't, I think he was right. By the way, Clarence Larkin held that position, uh, AW pink. Um, I think Ruckman holds that position too, but I'm not sure. I can't remember. Not that you have to believe them just because they say it, but there's men that have studied this. I think G.H. Pember might've held that too. Okay, so watch this. Okay. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gavest me, I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled. Then in 2 Thessalonians, a chapter I've went over more than any preacher you know, probably. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Okay. The son of perdition. Now look at his ministry, a ministry of deceit. What was Judas's ministry? A ministry of deceit. What did Judas do? He deceived everyone. Judas was a counterfeit, right? Okay, so first one, son of perdition. Okay. John 6, 70. By the way, can you go up to verse 66? From that time, John 6, 6, 6. Are you ready? From that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life, and we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. What does he say in verse 70? Jesus answered them, have not I chosen you 12? And one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for he it was that should betray him. Wait, so John 6, 6, 6 disciples? Yeah, who's he talking about? Judas, the man of sin, the beast, the counterfeit disciple. See it? Who's he talking about? One of you is a devil. One of you 12, he said, is a devil. Then go to John 666. The Antichrist, what is the number of his name, dear friend? Oh, it's getting spooky. Let's do it. Oh, it's getting gooder. By the way, this is not in A.W. Pink's notes. These are just my notes. This part is. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exercised with all the power of the first beast before him, and caused that the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. How does he know how to do that? He was given power to do that, remember? Deceive it them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do on the side of the beast Saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast Which had the wound by a sword and did live and he had power to give life under the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand and in their foreheads, that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, For it is the number of a man. Excuse me. And his number is 600, three score and six. You mean like this number here? In John 6, 6, 6? Ah, my throat, I hope I'm not getting a cold, man. My wife has one. But it's probably because I'm talking loud, because I'm excited. And I just went and walked in the cold, but I did bundle up. Anyway, not that you care about any of that, but anyway. Jesus answered. Remember John 6, 6, 6, from that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. So what are we contrasting here? Simon Peter's declaration. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the son of the living God. So what does Jesus say? Yeah, you know I'm the son of God, but you don't know that this guy's the son of perdition. Jesus answered, have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil? Okay. Then look at this one. And after the sop, Jesus answered, he it is to whom I shall give a sop when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped it, dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop, Satan entered into him. There you go. Okay. So, then we look at, we remember that the beast that was and is not and shall go into perdition. Oh, who goes into perdition? The son of perdition. Why is he called the son of perdition? Because he's the son of Satan. And Judas is the son of Satan. a reincarnated Judas, a reincarnated man of sin. Yep. Because suppose Judas went to his own place, which was what? a holding cell in hell. Judas, it doesn't say he went to hell. It says he went to his own place in the abyss, a special place only for him. And then the beast that was and is not, but shall ascend out of the bottomless pit shall go into perdition. Okay. So you have a lot centered around Satan in this teaching with Judas. You have a lot. You have a lot of pictures. You have a lot of, you know, the devil working. Have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil, Judas. Different dude, man. Different guy. as Jesus is the perfect son of God, fully God, fully man. Judas will be some sort of hybrid. The Antichrist will be some sort of spiritual hybrid. Why do you believe that? Because he said, have not I chosen you 12 and one of you is a devil? He's some type of devil. mixed with man? I don't know. I can't explain all that. But it's there. And you can't ignore it. And there's a lot of examples there. So it's something that you should study in the scriptures yourself. And look at the references. But nothing else is like Judas. No other figure in the Bible is like Judas except the Antichrist. Because Judas will have this peculiar power. Judas had this peculiar power, right? He was just like the other disciples. Yes, Judas was a Jew. We'll get into that a little more later though. maybe a Syrian Jew, okay? We won't talk about that right now. I'm not prepared to cover that, okay? But anyway. So, maybe you have some questions, comments. Think I'm crazy? Let's play a song and I'll give you an opportunity to answer that. or ask that if you'd like to, I should say. Who is so great a God as our God? Thou art the God that does wonders. Thou hast declared Thy strength among the people. Who is like unto the Lord most high? Who filled the seas and formed the skies? Who walks upon the wings of the Whose thoughts no man can comprehend. Through every generation His wonders are displayed. from forming all creation to freeing those enslaved. God of wonders, who reigns victorious, God of wonders, enthroned in praise. All his temples before his presence, God of wonders, the Ancient of Days. Who has heard his mighty works of old, Of Noah's flood, of Jericho? Of taming mighty lions in the den, Of Egypt's plains, Goliath's hen, Through every generation His wonders are displayed From forming all creation To freeing those enslaved God of wonders Who reigns victorious God of wonders Enthroned in prayer All is tranquil before His presence, God of wonders, the Ancient of Days. Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations, before Thou hast formed the earth and the world. Even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God. From everlasting to everlasting, before the worlds were formed, He always has reigned. World in all majesty Hold in eternity He is almighty Holy is His name God of wonders Who reigns victorious God of wonders God of wonders, the Ancient of Days. Who is like unto the Lord most high? Well, we see in John chapter 18, 666, right? When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with the disciples over the brook Kidron, where was a garden into which he entered and his disciples, and Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place. For Jesus oft times resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and pharisees Come thither come a thither with lanterns and torches and weapons Jesus therefore knowing all things that should come upon him went forth and said unto them whom seek ye Hey, you know, I have another Let's stop there for a second remember how we're gonna read about how the if we get that far here, but that that the the chief priests and the the scribes the pharisees they were like judas said i betrayed the innocent blood and they said what does that see thou to it see thou to it we don't care so then he goes off and hangs himself who better to have revenge against israel's leadership than the antichrist judas being the antichrist and seek revenge against the nation of israel Like he has his own vengeance in mind, right? Because he hates the godly seed anyway, and Satan is in him, so he hates Israel. Think about that. It's quite the revenge, isn't it? And if you were in a pit for like 2,000 years, waiting to get your revenge, think about that one. Judas had received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees coming together with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus, therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. And as soon as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward and fell to the ground. So they went backward and fell to the ground, right? They fell back. Apostasy, right? Then asked he them again, whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way, that the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake of them which thou gavest me, have I lost none? So then, right, they took him, right? So we understand that here is Jesus showing his power, here's the Antichrist, right? Let's see. I think it might, is it 20? Let me see here. Oh, it's not this chapter, hang on. Here it is, Matthew 27 four. Then Judas, which had betrayed him when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself. This is that Judas repentance. I preached a whole sermon on it. Go back and listen to it years ago, like 10 years ago. No, maybe like eight years ago. I don't know, something like that. Then Judas, which had betrayed him when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself and brought again the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders saying, I've sinned in that I betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, what is that to us? See thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed and went and hanged himself. And the chief priest took the silver pieces and said, it is not lawful to put them into the treasury because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel and bought with them the potter's field to bury strangers in. Wherefore, that field was called the field of blood unto this day. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, and they took the 30 pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value and gave them for the potter's field as the Lord appointed me." See, Judas went out and hung himself. No true repentance. No real repentance. He wanted to kill himself. Why? Because he wasn't repentant. He repented to himself. That's the sorrow of this world that work at death. He had a counterfeit repentance. So anyway, interesting studies for sure. All right, everybody, well, God bless you.
