Paul's band of brothers
Series Book of Romans
Here at the end of the book of Romans just before the benediction is a greeting from Paul and 6 other Christian brother in Corinth to the church at Rome. These men worked together and shared a special bond that goes beyond the normal bond that believers have with one another. God had placed these men in the right place at the right time during the building of the early church to have important influence and to help Paul in a special way. From studying these passages that may seem easy to overlook we can learn about the Grace of God in providing exactly the right person or group for the job in His timing, and also about the blessing of a special fellowship that exist among laborers who labor together in the building of the Kingdom of God. Other passages referenced in this sermon are 2 Samuel 1:17-27, 1 Timothy 1:1-11, and John 6:1-15.
