God's Glory in His Church
Series Book of Romans
In this final chapter of Romans we read Paul's greetings to many different saints. The Church is diverse and by getting a little insight into the lives of those Paul was connected to we see how God is able to bring all types of people together to do His work. One key for us in building relationships with all different types of people is to have a right understanding of our forgiveness. When we have a proper understanding of our own forgiveness and what filth God has raised us out of, we will have a much easier time relating to and caring for others no matter how different they are. Another important point is that all believers are united in Christ, therefore any differences of skin color, cultural background, or other differences become trivial and meaningless when we understand rightly the unity we share in Christ. Other scriptures referenced in this sermon are Psalm 67, Galatians 3:23-29, and Luke 7:36-50.
