While the first commandment teaches us who we are to worship, the second teaches us how we are to worship him. Images, idols and pictures are a gross misrepresentation of our glorious God and cannot capture his amazing attributes. Worship must be spiritual, by faith, with words and simple. This command also prohibits the use of bands, orchestras, soloists as worship aides.
