A Promise Received By Faith

We often think of Abraham as the father of the faithful, but his wife Sarah is also mentioned here among the listing of the heroes of faith. When Isaac was born Abraham was one hundred years old and Sarah was ninety but their faith was in God who had promised a child and God always fulfills His word. The birth of Isaac was typical of Christ the Savior who was declared to be coming. Sarah is given to us as a prime example of faith.
