We're turning to the little book of Micah, little book of Micah. Now, that'll be a struggle at times to find that little book. You'll find it after Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, and then Nahum and Habakkuk. And if you need to use the front of your Bible, you do that. And it can be a difficult book to find, Micah chapter number 6. And we'll read the first eight verses of the chapter together. Micah chapter six and the verse number one. Hear ye now what the Lord saith. Arise, contend thy before the mountains and let the hills hear thy voice. Hear ye, O mountains, the Lord's controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth. For the Lord hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel. My people, What have I done unto thee? And wherein have I wearied thee? Testify against me. For I have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants. And I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. Will my people remember now what Balakin of Moab consulted, and what Balaam, the son of Beor, answered him from Shittimon to Gilgal? That ye may know the righteousness of the Lord. Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, by myself before the high God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams or ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has showed thee, O man, what is good. What doth the Lord require of thee? but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. Amen, and we end at the end of the verse here, our public reading of the word of God. Let's briefly, with the word before us open, let's pray. Our Father, we thank thee for thy word, the reading of it. We thank thee for the ability to read. We thank thee, O God, that we have some level of literature of ability to read the words before us. We thank thee for that. We thank thee for our education. We thank thee, O God, for a faithful translation of the word of the living God. And as we are now before it, come minister to us through the word today. We pray that our hearts will be open, the help of thy spirit given, glorify thy son. And may we walk as God would have us to walk. even in this world. We pray these are petitions in Jesus' holy name. Amen. Over the last few weeks, we have been thinking together about the walk of a Christian. And whenever I speak about the walk of a Christian, I'm really referring to a person's conduct as a child of God in this world. Their daily conduct, their daily walk, Their daily conversing with others really entails or incorporates this thought of walking with God. It really incorporates one's behavior as a believer. Now it will come as no surprise to you that walking in a physical sense requires the presence of life. Dead men can't walk. We know that to be so. Those who are devoid of life are unable to physically walk, and such is true within the spiritual realm. The principle of life, spiritual life, must be in us if we are to walk with God. And so, I need to begin the message by asking you the question, are you spiritually alive? Has there been a moment in your life when you've been quickened from the deadness of your sin? You see, you can only ever walk with God if you are alive to God. Those who are spiritually dead in their trespasses and their sins, they cannot walk with God. And so everything in this message and in subsequent messages is really for those who possess or who are in possession of the life of God. Now you may attempt as an unsaved person to walk with God, but I must warn you that in your attempt, you're going to be terribly frustrated in that process. You're not only that, but you're going to miserably feel in your attempts, you'll read the Bible, but you'll get nothing out of it. You'll pray. and it'll all seem to be a pointless exercise. You'll try and live a holy life, but you'll find there will be repeated defeat after defeat with regard to attempting to live such a life. Only those who are alive to God will have success in walking with God. So the question is, are you a Christian? Are you alive to God? Is the life of God in you today? Well having spoken to you last Lord's Day about the one that we are to imitate when it comes to our walking with God, namely the Lord Jesus Christ, we now want to begin this series of messages proper by looking at various exhortations within the Word of God that speak about how we are to walk with God, how we are to conduct our lives in this world as a child of God. And we'll only get to consider three of those exhortations today. And to aid in the memory of those particular points, the three main points, each point begins with the same letter, the letter H. So we're going to be thinking about these three points today, all beginning with the letter H. Having ended referring to this particular point last Lord's Day, it's only proper and it's only right that we would start with this point on this particular Lord's Day. And so in the first place, the Christian is to walk humbly. The Christian is to walk Humbly, the prophet Micah, he condenses the whole jury of the Christian. You think of that. Whenever you think of the Bible and all that God requires of man, there are multiplicity of commandments and statutes and laws and exhortations that we are to obey as a child of God. But Micah, he condenses the whole duty of the Christian down into three essential components. And you'll find those three essential components in Micah chapter 6 and the verse number 8. The question is asked, what does the Lord require of thee? What does God expect of me as a Christian, as one who follows Jesus Christ, who's walking after God? What does God expect of me? The answer is given to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God, to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. You know, too often in our Christian lives, when we have done justly, and whenever we have loved mercy, that which is required in the first two components, we often, having done that, we find ourselves prone to pride. because we have done so. And so in order to counteract that natural tendency and that natural weakness that is in us towards pride, God's servant, directed by the Spirit of God, adds the stipulation that we are to walk humbly with our God. Yes, do mercy, or to love mercy. Yes, do that which is just, that which is right. Love mercy, but whenever you do it, walk then humbly with your God. Don't pride yourself. Don't be proud that you've lived in such a way, that you have lived in a right way, or that you've loved mercy, but do so with humility, humility of heart. You see, humility is a cardinal Christian virtue. It is a cardinal grace that really cancels out our pride, our self-reliance, and our haughty spirit. Maybe you pride yourself in your attainments as a Christian, the things you've done, The sacrifices you've made, the crosses that you've borne, the knowledge of spiritual things that you've come to acquire through your own personal Bible study or the reading of other men, maybe your own spiritual experiences. And in some way you've become proud of such things. But all of these things, brethren and sisters, are no grounds for our boasting. Whenever we sense our own sinfulness, Alongside the imperfections of our own labors, we find ourselves humbled before God. Low views of ourselves will lead to true humility before God. Low views of ourselves will lead to true humility before God. The apostle Peter failed at a point in his life to walk humbly with his God. And as a result, God had to humble Peter. That fevered disciple of the Lord one night would boast that he would never, never deny his master. And yet he found himself doing that very thing that he said that he would never do by denying his Lord with oaths and curses. Is it any wonder then that Peter, in retrospect of what he did, would write these words in 1 Peter chapter 5, In the verses 5 and 6, let me read them to you. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility. For God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore unto the mighty hand of God, that he would exalt you in due time. Having himself been overcome with pride, Peter warned his readership against pride, a sin that often blots the record book of the best of saints, pride. And so God encourages us to walk humbly. Now, if the Christian is to walk humbly with God, I suppose the question needs to be asked and then answered, how is such a walk achieved? With this natural tendency in me towards pride and to walk in a proud way, how then is this thought or this walk of humility, how is it cultivated? How is it encouraged? How is it accomplished within our lives? Well, could I suggest to you, in the first place, it is achieved by considering who it is that we are walking with. Who it is that we're walking with. You see, Micah the prophet, he says that we are to walk humbly, to walk humbly with thy God, thy God. Now, Micah understands who God is. Note what he says concerning God in the verse number six of chapter six. Wherewith shall I come before the Lord? It is the name Jehovah. Self-existent God, this being who is independent of every other creature. He's now coming before Jehovah God. And then he goes on to say about this God, how shall I bow myself before the high God? This high God, this one who is exalted far above all, far above men, far above angels, Notice that Micah speaks nothing about walking with his fellow man. He speaks here about walking with God. Let that sink in. Walking with God. Walking with the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity. Walking with the self-satisfied, self-sufficient God. Walking with the one who has need of nothing, for all things belong to Him. He who needs no one to find satisfaction. One who is perfect in His being to walk with God. The Westminster Confession of Faith describes the one that we walk with in this way. He is infinite in being and perfection. a most pure spirit, invisible, immutable, immense, eternal, incomprehensible, almighty, most wise, most holy, most free, most absolute, most loving, gracious, merciful, long-suffering, abundant in goodness and truth, The amazing thing is that we get to walk with Him, to think that God would want to walk with us and that He wants us to walk with Him. I wonder, would the King of our nation want to walk with us? I wonder, would presidents and crown princes of this land, would they want to walk with us commoners? I think not. And yet God, the Most High God, this One who inhabits eternity, He wants to walk with us. He wants to commune with us. He wants to fellowship with us. Let the thought sink into your mind, brother, sister, today. God wants me to walk with Him, and He desires that I would walk with Him. I remind you today that it was this view of God that saw to the eradication of any semblance of pride in the life of Abraham when he came to address God in prayer regarding the cities of the plain. What did he say on that occasion? He talked about him coming before God. And this is how he described himself as he thought about the one that he was approaching in prayer. This is how Abraham, the father of the faithful, described himself, he described himself as dust and ashes. It was this view of God that humbled the prophet Isaiah and caused him to cry out in Isaiah chapter 6 when he saw the high and lofty one, when he saw the throne exalted and the one upon the throne, he said, woe is me for I am undone. I'm undone." It was this view of God that abased the apostle John in the book of the Revelation and caused John to fall at the feet of the glorified Son of God as a dead man, taken up with the wonder and the glory of the exalted and glorified Christ. He became, as it were, a dead man. And beloved, if this was how our forefathers found themselves as they viewed God, we ought ourselves to be humbled when we consider the one that we walk with, for although God is far above us, While He transcends all other beings, yet God still desires to walk with His redeemed children. If nothing else, that should humble us today. That should create in us this humility of walk and conduct that God would walk beside me day by day. As I studied out this thought, I found a quote that said this, surely. Surely the great mystery of the religious life is this, that God can walk and talk with me." The mystery of the religious life is that God can walk and talk with me. How humbling. And so this humble walk, it's produced, it's achieved as we consider the one that we're walking with. In the second place, this humble walk with God is achieved when we consider what God has done for us. This one that we get to walk with, He has actually done something for us. What God has done for all those who savingly know Him should cause us to be humbled. Which one of us deserve to be the objects of His love? Which one? Which one in this congregation deserves to be the object of God's love? Which one of us deserves to be the recipients of His mercy? Which one of us deserves to be the benefactors of His grace? Which one of us deserves to be now heirs of His kingdom and heirs with Christ? Which one of us deserves to be a member of God's family? Not one of us, and yet all of these things are ours through the cross work of Jesus Christ. Let me ask you this question, would you die for a grasshopper? Because that's how we're described in the book of Isaiah. that the peoples of this world are grasshoppers in God's sight. Would you die for a grasshopper? Let me ask you, would you give your life for a pile of dust? For that's what man is, animated dust. God formed man from the dust of the ground. Would you give your life for a pile of dust? Or would you endure the agony and the death of the cross for an enemy? For that's what we were in our unregenerate state. We were enemies against God. You know, whenever we think of all that God has done for us, surely we ought to walk humbly with God, that He would die for me, that He would suffer for me. that He would bear the curse for me, that He would pay the debt of my sin. Oh, the marvel of it all. But then add to that, child of God, not only what God has done for you, but think about what God is yet to do for you. Eventually bringing you safely through this world, and eventually into His very presence, and not only into His presence, but then to present you with joy, present you to the Father with great joy. This is my child. This is my redeemed one. This is my son. This is my daughter. This is the one that I bled and suffered and died for. To think of what Jesus Christ is going yet to do for me, it cannot but produce humility. Humility of heart. How amazing it is to think then that God has to tell us to walk humbly with Him. That's the amazing thing. To think that He has to tell us to walk humbly with Him. We should already be walking humbly with God. And yet He has to tell us because He knows us. He knows our hearts. He knows the pride of our hearts. He knows our makeup. He knows our constitution. He knows that we're so apt to pride. And so He has to tell us here in the book, walk humbly with your God. That's what I require, that's what is demanded of you. You know, for God to tell us this, brethren and sisters, it's evidence, it's evidence that we really don't know ourselves as we ought to. Because brethren and sisters, if we really knew ourselves as we ought to, we could do nothing else but walk humbly with God. No, there's a wonderful promise that God gives to the humble. Over there in Isaiah 57 verse 15, for thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabiteth eternity whose name is holy. I dwell in the high and holy place with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit to revive the spirit of the humble. and to revive the heart of the contrite ones, those whose walk is marked by humility. God promises to revive. If that is the case, then let's walk humbly with our God. Let's walk humbly with Him. In the second place, we're not only to walk humbly, we are to walk honestly, honestly. Let me direct you to two Bible verses. First one is Romans chapter 13, verse 13. Romans 13, verse 13. There are two verses that refers to the Christian walking in this kind of way, this way of honesty. Romans 13, verse 13, the word of God says, let's read verse 12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in clamoring and wantonness, not in strife and envying, but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof. And so we have, verse 13, let us walk honestly. The second verse is found in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and the verse number 12. 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and the verse 12. Twice in scripture the instruction is given to walk honestly. Now the need for the Apostle Paul to write such an exhortation had arisen from the fact that there were believers and they weren't walking in this way. Why write it? if it wasn't a problem in the church of Jesus Christ. There were those who were professing Christ and they were not walking in such a way. They were not walking honestly. Not only that, but I want you to notice that this problem wasn't just confined to one assembly of believers. Paul wrote to the saints in Rome to walk honestly. Paul now writes to the church in Thessalonica to walk honestly. And so this isn't a problem that's just a Roman problem. This isn't just a problem that is a problem in the city of Thessalonica, but this is a problem in the church universal. There is a problem of walking honestly with God. Sadly, Instead of walking honestly, these people's walk was marked by dishonesty, pretense, hypocrisy. Now the Christian is one who has supposedly renounced the hidden things of dishonesty. That's how the Bible describes the Christian. They have renounced The hidden things of dishonesty. That's what a Christian ought to be. The days of dishonesty are supposed to be over for us who profess to have put off the old man and have put on the new man. As children of the day, we are to walk differently from the children of disobedience. the children of dishonesty, we are to walk differently from the dishonest worldling who is a child of the night because we are children of the day. Paul was exhorting these saints in these two cities to give an honest impression of their God to the world around them. And so they were to act in a manner that was befitting the child of God, and that required honesty. Now sadly today, there is a lack of honesty within society. There is a shortage of honesty within society. And so as Christians, those who walk, and whose walk is to be marked by honesty, if that is the case in society at large, If there is a lack of honesty, then the Christian who walks honestly should stand out like a sore thumb in our society. If we live in a dishonest society, and we do, then the child of God by their living should stand out like a sore thumb, to coin a phrase. And so the believer is required to walk honestly. Can I say in the first place that they are to walk honestly before God? How dangerous it is for any child of God not to walk honestly before the Lord. Because God knows us. He knows us through and through. There's nothing that we do that is hidden from God. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. All things are naked before whom we have to do. Thy God sees me. And so we are to walk honestly before God. Do you remember that married couple in the book of the Acts of the Apostles? They tried to pull the wool over the eyes of the church's spiritual oversight. Their names were Ananias and Sapphira. Having sold some land, they came before the church pretending that they were giving the entire proceeds to the work of God. Now, they weren't obliged to give any of the money to God. It wasn't required of them to do that. It wasn't a stipulation put upon them that they had to give the entire proceedings over to the work of God, but simply they came before the church and they pretended in an act of dishonesty to give to God all of the proceeds while they knew in and of themselves that they had kept part, that part of the price. They had pocketed some of the proceeds, some of the income. But it was all a big charade. It was all a big show and all a pretending act. And here they come before God. I'm sure they were pious. I'm sure everybody thought in the church, oh, what wonderful people they are. Look at the sacrifice that they're making. But God saw it. And God saw their dishonesty. And within three hours, within three hours, think of it, within three hours, both husband and wife were dead. God judged them for their dishonesty. I say, child of God, there must be no pretending. There must be no fakeness, if that's a word. There must not be phonies when it comes to our walk before God. He who is omniscient, That simply means He who is all-knowing, He who knows all things, is aware of our conduct and can detect when we're not walking honestly with Him. Now, child of God, are you walking honestly with the Lord? Are you walking honestly with Him? And so we're to walk honestly before God. But we're not only to walk honestly before God, we're to walk honestly before men. I'm convinced, I am fully convinced that the world beyond the four walls of this church building has had enough of hypocritical Christianity. They've had enough to do their lifetime. They're sick of it, sick of it. their sons and their daughters and have had enough of hypocritical Christianity that is too often on display in too many professing Christians' homes. The Sunday performance doesn't wash with them. It doesn't wash. They see how you live in the home. We're colleagues and classmates are completely turned off Christianity when they witness Christians walking dishonestly and not honestly. If that's Christianity, I want nothing to do with it. Brethren and sisters, honest walking does not just occur when we dress up for church on a Sunday, and we mix in Christian circles. Honest walking is to occur when we rub shoulders with the world on a daily basis. I remind you of that. Because Paul teaches that in that verse, 1 Thessalonians, if you're there, chapter 4, verse 12, that you may walk honestly toward them that are without. Those that are outside the family of God. You're to walk honestly before them. You're to represent God. He's a God of honesty, He's a God of truth. We're to represent God in an honest way, not under pretense, not under some kind of funny act, but we're to present God to those who are without, those outside the family of God, as well as those within the family of God. You see, the Apostle Paul's words here remind us that we're to live in the world. We have to live in this world. And he reminds us that we have to live in the world, and he reminds us that we have to interact with the world, even though we're not off the world. The Christian is not to hide away in some commune, some kind of religious commune. Never come into contact with the unsaved. We're not to, as it were, enter some monastery and live away and apart from society. That is not what God would have us to do, but rather we're to go into the world and we're to live honestly before the world. You see, if the ungodly are ever going to be challenged by our honest conduct, they must first witness it. They must see it. They must see it working out in our lives. And then they come to understand, I am a dishonest individual. There he is. He clocks in on time. And here I am. And I clock in late. And there he's honest with his affairs and his money and his taxes. And he doesn't, as it were, put a little in his pocket. A little Homer, as it were, and he doesn't declare it to the tax man. No, there's a Christian, and he's honest in all of his financial dealings. And here I am, I'm as crooked as a hound's back leg. We're to be different, different. And in our honest living, we get to express our God, who he is. As the world looks on, and they see our lies, this should regulate our conduct, it should govern our lives, it should control our behavior. Because those outside the family are watching on, they're watching on. Daniel, that godly Old Testament Bible character, must have been a man who walked honestly before men. Even his arch enemies, had to confess that to be the case. Let me read to you what they said about him in Daniel chapter six. You can turn there if you want, but Daniel chapter six, I'll read it to you. The verses four and five of the chapter. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom, but they could find none occasion or fault. For as much as he was faithful, Neither was there any error or fault found in him. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. You think of those words in verse 4. He was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. In other words, Daniel had an unblemished record in the eyes of his enemies. Whether it was in the family, whether it was with regard to his finances, whether it was with regard to his civil duties, this man had an unblemished record. He walked honestly before his fellow man. And why, how could he do that, brethren and sisters? Let me explain to you how he could do that. Daniel walked honestly before his fellow men because he firstly learned how to walk honestly before his God. And that's the key. That's the key. If you want to walk honest before men, then walk honest before God. And walking honestly before men will naturally follow on. Focus on your walk with God, brother. Focus on your walk with God's sister, and then your walk before men will take care of itself. It'll take care of itself. We're to walk humbly. We're to walk honestly. Thirdly and finally, we are to walk harmoniously. Harmoniously. I'm not speaking to here about walking harmoniously with our fellow man, although that's important and as long as our fellow man is walking in harmony with God's revealed will. We can't walk with our fellow man if they're doing that which God forbids, so that's the caveat. But I'm not speaking about walking here harmoniously with our fellow man, I'm speaking here about walking harmoniously with God. The prophet Amos asked a question, can two walk together except they be agreed? The obvious answer, of course, is they can't. Of course they can't. It's utterly impossible for two people to walk together if there's discord, if there's disagreement existing between the two parties. And we cannot walk with God as Enoch walked with God, as Noah walked with God, if we are in disagreement with God. There needs to be agreement. There needs to be, we could put it like this, a harmonization of our will to God's will. if we are to walk together with God. And therefore, that is going to require us to know God's mind on every issue, on every issue. Whether that's to do with salvation or marriage, whether that's to do with raising a family or what church to join, whether that's with regard to relationships or money matters, Whether that's to do with alcohol or moral purity, there needs to be a knowing of the mind of God. And when we come to an understanding of God's mind in each matter that impacts our lives, and that will only come through an understanding of the Scripture, we must then align ourselves with God's revealed will, because not to do so We'll see that our paths diverge, and we'll find ourselves no longer walking in fellowship, in harmony, in agreement with God. The paths will diverge. This is my way, God will say. You will say, no, I'm going my own way, and paths will diverge. Sadly, for whatever reason, Many Christians don't want to walk in agreement with God today. And so what they do is that they jump from one church to the next until they find a fellowship whose teaching aligns not with the teaching of Scripture. No, no, you wouldn't want to do that. You wouldn't want to go to a church that aligns with Holy Scripture. No, what they want to do, they find a church whose teaching aligns with what they want, what they want. And I say that such people are only inflicting detrimental hurt to their own spiritual lives and to the lives of their family. And so my advice to you is very simple. Attend a church that preaches the whole counsel of God's Word. Sit under the ministry of a man who takes you to the word of God and shows you how you ought to live in a way that he is exhorting you to live and avoid like the plague a ministry that tells you what you want to hear and withholds from you what you need to hear. Avoid it like the plague. A fellowship, a ministry that tells you what you just want to hear and doesn't tell you what you need to hear. Avoid it like the plague. To walk in harmony with God, you'll need to become acquainted with what God expects of you, His child. And you'll only ever get to know that through the reading of God's Word yourself and sitting under the preaching of Holy Scripture. Why do so many Christians go astray in their Christian lives? You know, it can be boiled down to two things, condensing it all down to two things. Why do so many Christians go astray? Reason number one, they're ignorant of spiritual truth or biblical truth. They just don't know. They just don't know. That's one reason. Reason number two is not that they are ignorant of biblical truth. The reason is that they are rebellious regarding biblical truth. And it isn't that they don't know. The problem is that they don't want to know. They don't want to know. The person who walks in light of God's Word will be the one who walks in harmony with God. If we are in agreement with God, then our life will be a happy, habitual, harmonious walk with God. And so in light of this need to walk harmoniously with the Lord, we come to ask ourselves then the questions, am I walking with God today? Am I keeping in step with Him? It doesn't say that Enoch walked before God. It didn't say that Enoch walked after God. He walked with God, side by side, step by step, in harmony, in concord, they walked together. We ask ourselves the question, am I in agreement with the Lord on every matter? Is there an issue in my life that is creating disharmony between me and God, and is it affecting my walk with God? May God bring us all to the place where we are in perfect agreement with the Lord in every matter and then live it out in our lives. I'm convinced that that will be the work of a lifetime, but a work that we must happily consent to. We must be willing, active participants. when it comes to having our lives brought in line with God's revealed will. The flesh will oppose it, of course it will. The devil will resist it, of course he will. But we, if Christian living is to be enjoyed to the fullness as God intended it to be enjoyed, then we must resolve, we must resolve, brethren and sisters, to walk in agreement with God. Whatever He says, I will do. And wherever he sends, I will go. Never fear, only trust and obey. Walk humbly. Walk honestly. Walk harmoniously. This is the way that God wants. Now let me rephrase that. This is the way that God expects. his children to walk in this world. Oh, for grace and for the help of the Holy Spirit, coupled with my own personal willingness, may God enable us to walk in such a way that we are able to say that we're walking with God, honestly, humbly, and harmoniously. May God help us in this particular area of our lives, for Christ's sake. Let's bow in prayer, please. Let's pray. Our gracious and our good God, we come before thee. We thank thee, O God, for thy word, the instruction of it, Too often, filled with pride, we freely confess. Too often, O God, we walk dishonestly, in a dishonest way, before Thee and before the world. Too often, we're out of step with Thee. We're not walking harmoniously with Thee. There's issues that we just will not yield to. We will not submit to. We're so rebellious. We're so aware, O God, that all of these matters, they affect our true enjoyment of walking with Thee. What a marvel, what a marvel to think that God would have us to walk with Him. O God, we thank Thee for the blood of Christ that cleanseth us from sin. And therefore, if there be matters that need to be addressed and put right, we thank Thee O God, there is cleansing for our sin. For thy people, we pray that you'll forgive us. May we just walk in the light that you've given us today. May we find ourselves walking in this manner, which we are exhorted to do, even from your word. So bless us, Lord. May we be a congregation who walks with God. Bless everyone, young and old, in this great matter of life. and Christian living ought to have a walk that is marked by God and is known before men. Lord, come and answer prayer and part us with the blessing of the triune Godhead, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, we pray these are petitions and prayers in Jesus' precious name.
