Faith, Hope, and Love

The triad of faith, hope, and love are foundational in Pauline theology. The three appear together throughout Paul's letters. Faith, hope, and love, work together to make us active, grateful believers, more able to endure the struggles of living in a fallen world because the higher agenda of God and his kingdom are central. In Colossians 1:1-8, Paul greets the Colossian church and thanks God for them because of the fruit that the gospel is producing in them since the day it arrived through the ministry of Epaphras.
