A Godly marriage is a beautiful demonstration of the hope of the Gospel. Christ has willingly sacrificed himself that we would be reconciled to God. A wife willingly sacrifices herself as she joyfully submits to her husband as to the Lord. A husband sacrifices himself as he joyfully loves his wife like Christ loved him. There is hope for your marriage when you honor one another, when you overlook sin out of love, when you pursue and promote piety in your home, and when you are committed to endure to the end just as Christ is committed to keep you to the end.
