Walking in the Spirit
Series Galatians: Let Freedom Ring
We are to enjoy freedom in Christ and are to cling to the cross as Paul has already written in Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” As a result of this freedom, we are under the law of love. Love is freeing and serving, fulfills the law, and fellowships and fights for the glory of God. We are bound by love and set free from bondage to the lusts and deceitful desires of our flesh. We no longer depend on our own strength or ability, because we are weak in the flesh. However, we have been born of God (John 1:13) and are to live our lives in the Spirit. Today, we will discuss Walking in the Spirit. In this message, we will look at the 1) The Command to Walk in the Spirit (16), 2) The Conflict between the flesh and Spirit (17-18), and 3) The Clear evidence of Walking in the flesh (19-21).
