Page 176. Page 176. I said that I would settle and settle on the gut, on the gut. Down on my knees, on the gut. I settled it all. Yes, the old account was settled on the gut. Hallelujah. And the record's clear today. Glory washed my sins away. The old account was settled on the gut. Yes, the old account was set among the gods. Hallelujah. And the record's clear today. For he washed my sins away. And the old account was set among the gods. A hundred years we loved to be beautiful on the grave. You said, a long ago, a long ago, now on my knee, a long ago, I settled it all, yes, the old and gray. Amen, amen, amen. I'm glad on July 29, 2008, 11 at Mount Ute Camp, as a 15-year-old boy, I'm glad I settled out of court. I got saved by the grace of God. And the Bible says he blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and he took it out of the way by nailing it to his cross. I'm so glad that my sins are gone tonight. Amen. Lord I pray that you just bless this service tonight Help us tonight. Did you just meet with us here? Help revive us tonight, Lord. Stir us up to the fire in our heart. I pray if there's anybody lost here at this service tonight, would you just help them before it's too late, Lord? There's times when Satan tries me again. And he asks me why I'm worthy of salvation from my sins. And after all I've done, Why should I get to live? And this is all that I could say to Him. Go ask the one who has His face. I say, go ask my sins, but they're And all the doubts will fly when I just lean on him. For it's not in what I've done, but it's who I'm trusting. A change in me there's been Then I'll just smile at you and say again As the trains go by, as the bridegroom falls, as the tears return, as the crimson-flowered His grace says I am free, and His blood says I am clean. The empty tomb says I have victory. I sang the words my sins, but they're gone without a trace. That's right. Yeah. There once was a woman who came to the well Seeking relief for her thirst Her bad reputation, she was considered the worst. Oh, but that day she found more than just water, she the hope of the world. She left town with one name, oh won't they be surprised at what she says when she returns. God called me free at last. Nothing's the same. My friends used to call me by so many names. I hardly remember them all. A two-fisted drinker, the laugh of the party, are some of the names I recall. Oh, but after I made my trip to the altar, my old way of living was changed. Well, I know what I was, and I know who I am, and nothing about me is the same. I'm now known as New Creation. My nickname is Covered Body. Free at last, nothing's the same since Jesus came and I got my new name. Many times my heart has questioned the reasons I was living for. The pleasures of this world were leaving me wanting more, something more. Then you gave me life's true meaning, not care. life had been. You reached out to me with your mercy and I will never, never look back again. Because you love me, I've been changed. Because you want me. Now tell me where, where would I be without you? And tell me what kind of future would I have if you had not come to my rescue and given me just one more chance? By your glory I've been changed. By your mercy I've been changed. By your marvelous grace, I've been changed. God, you love me, I've been changed. God, you want me, I've been changed. Bye. you. Amen. Been changed. Been changed, amen. Can't make Jesus stop being changed. If you let him have his way in your life, he'll change you. Nobody that met Jesus and let him have his way in their life ever left different. I mean, ever left the same. They all left different. I'm so glad he's in the soul-saving business and the life-changing business. I'm so glad that he saved me when I was 18 years old, and I'm going up the ladder pretty quick, amen? I'm not 18 no more. But I'm glad I can look back on my life and say, praise God, I'm so glad God saved me when he did. And not only saved my soul, but inspired my life. Thank God I ain't been living for the devil. I ain't been living for the world. I've been living for Jesus, amen. And so I want my life to count for him, don't you? Amen. We said good preaching this week, we've had. And I appreciate the good message last night on being filled with the Holy Spirit. I promise you one thing, we need that. It's almost a missing message anymore. Don't hear a lot about that from a Baptist preacher. You hear it from the other crowd, but they don't know what they're talking about. But we know. And amen. And I believe in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, amen. And I pray all the time, Lord fill me with the Holy Spirit. I'll be filled with the Holy Spirit, amen. And so we need to pray for that. And he's the one that makes the difference. And I heard a preacher say this a long time ago, the Holy Spirit's not a power for me to use. But he's a power to use me. I don't use him, he uses me, amen. And sometimes we get that backwards and turned around, amen. But thank God for the power of God and we're not afraid of old time worship around here. We promote it and preach it and try to practice it, amen. And I like shouting, amen, I like worship. And I like it loud, amen. I've seen some folk along the way, and they say, well, all that loud stuff makes me nervous. I said, are you saved? Well, yeah. I said, are you going to heaven? Yeah, well, you better get buckled up real good then. We're going to have a shout and hallelujah time over there. Shout hallelujah time, amen. That's right, amen. Can you imagine, I can't even begin to, I can't wrap my little finite mind around when we all finally get home. And there he is, our savior. We all get to worship at the same time. It's gonna echo through eternity. Hallelujah. I've already been seen over. John done seen me, hasn't he? Praise God. I say, get your practice in, if I can say it that way. We ought to worship. We ought to be people of worship. Most Baptist churches call it a worship service on Sunday, but it ain't most worshiping going on. We ought to worship, amen. That's right, just let it go and worship him. And praise God, I love it, amen. I love it, amen. So we thank God for the good services we've had. We've got a service tonight, tomorrow night, so please pray for us that God will continue to help us. Let's pray for the preacher tonight, God will help him. And I just feel the burden coming in this place, and I know he's gonna preach to us tonight. And let's just pray God will have his way. And if you're here tonight and you don't know the Lord, it would be our earnest desire, of course, for you to come to the Lord and to be saved by the grace of God, give your heart and your life to Christ and repent of your sins and turn to Jesus. And that's right. And so God's still in the saving business. And if you're here tonight and you're saved, and you're a little away from God, you're not where you need to be with the Lord, it'd be our earnest desire for you to come and get things right with God. Get things out of your heart, get right with God. There ain't nothing like being right with God. I tell you, I'm not always right with God, but I live it when I'm really clean with the Lord. And I try to live that way, and I won't be clean before. I want to be right with God, amen? I want to be pleasing to Him, amen? And the Holy Spirit, He sees everything about us. And you say, but I really don't want to tell him that. He's already seen it. He already knows about it. And guess what? He's ready and waiting to forgive you. We have a very forgiving father. I'm thankful for that, amen. Okay, so. Tell it. Amen. Sure. I have a lot better than what I had before I got saved. I didn't have nothing before I got saved. I had a little bit of religion, but it didn't do nothing for me. Just religion without God can't help you. You must be born again, amen. Old time salvation makes a difference. I'm glad I got in the old time way. Amen, I'm glad there was some leather lung preachers that were letting it rip back in the 80s, and they wasn't afraid to preach, and that old preacher that night, it looked to me like his hand come across the pulpit and landed right in my face. He said, boy, that's what I was, I was nothing but a boy. He said, boy, I wouldn't go to hell for nothing or nobody. Boy, I tell you, a fear of God fell on me. I was already under conviction, a fear of God fell on me. But I got saved that night. I have no regrets, no regrets, no regrets, amen. All right, well, we're taking up an offering each night tonight, each night this week, The churches we've had Brother Fraser for several years now and we've been doing this for several years and we always we take care of the preacher but we take up an offering all week long for the print ministry, the Victory Baptist Church print ministry. And he puts out a lot of material, prints a lot, millions of pieces of literature. And we always try to, we don't actually really support the work, but we give probably more of the work than some churches do all year. We try to at least give him $1,000 for the print ministry each time he comes. and if we get 5,000, we'll give it all to him, amen. It don't matter to me what comes in, it's all going to him, to the print ministry, because I believe in tracts. I believe in the printed page, amen, and some guys, they're weird about that, but I don't pay no attention to that. I know the written word works, and you've heard my testimony. He handed me a tract that day. He said, sir, if he was to die right now, you want 100% for sure, you go to him. And I looked at that track and I said yes, and my heart said no. My heart condemned me. And from that, just that little incident, God began to work in me. I looked at that track as a fellowship track, Brother Winslow, fellowship track, league track. All this I did for they had Jesus on the cross. And it's just like, it's just like I could see it. I saw it, brother. Hallelujah. So if you put anything on the plate tonight, that's going to whoever ushers to come, and we'll receive our evening offering tonight. And so if you want to give to the print ministry, I highly encourage it. It's a good, it'll be good to put money toward that, amen. And there ain't no telling how many souls will be saved, amen. And the gods are saving them, amen. Through the word of God. Praise the Lord for you. Appreciate Dr. Winsell being with us tonight. And my dear friend, I love him so much, appreciate him so much. And he's gonna pray over the offering and the rest of the service tonight. So preachy, go ahead and pray. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yes. Let's all stand, grab a blue hymnal, turn to page 544. Page 544. It's pure. It sounds like music. See. One more time. Amen. You may be seated. So... They told me that Jesus, he would carry my burdens. They told me he'd safely and surely pilot me through. They told me to cast my care completely upon him. And I found all they said. My Jesus is true. And He's more than anybody ever told me about Him. He's done for me what no other ever could do. What He placed in my heart shall forever eternally Jesus is so much more than I ever could tell. A blind man sat begging by the roadside one day. Someone told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing his way. He had heard that everybody who met him forever was changed. And with the touch of the master's great hand, I believe he proclaimed that he's more than any man. He's done for me what no other ever could do. What no other could do. What He placed in my heart shall forever eternally dwell. Shall eternally dwell. And Jesus is so much more than I ever could tell. anybody ever told me about Him, He sent for me. What He placed in my heart shall forever, eternally dwell. Shall eternally dwell. Hey, Jesus is so much more than I ever could tell. What He placed in my heart shall forever, eternally dwell. And Jesus is so much more than I ever could tell. Than I ever could tell. Amen. Amen. Amen. But when I met John face to face, he told me, he said, you're going to serve me or I'm going to bury you. And you know, I'll give it to him. Amen. But I didn't just give him. I told him, I said, I've made a mess of my life ever since I was a boy. Everything I've touched seemed to be But given our $100 bills, none of them counted. It just seemed to be that when I went to school, people laughed at me. And hey, it was just, I thought that's all it was. It's just the rich was rich, and the poor was poor. And that's all it was to us. But when I met Jesus, and he told me Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. And then I got gloriously saved. Amen. And then I found out Jesus was the best thing I ever knew. Yes. Amen. Amen. That's right. Yes. But I'm going to tell you something. If you yield yourself to him and take your hands off of him and forget about flesh, forget about pride, forget about everything else, That's right. That's right. I care what you think about me. I wouldn't say. or crawling, or hollering, or screaming, you name it. And this redneck was there and he lollered. I don't believe that's a gawk. He jumped up. I don't believe that's a gawk. I didn't pay him no attention. That's right, ma'am. Good shot, brother. Well done. It was. He wasn't sitting there maybe two minutes. Not all five minutes. Nobody. And he jumped up and started screaming. Screaming as loud as he could. Oh, no, God. No, God. Oh, God. Please. Oh, God. No, God. He run to the altar. And he hit the altar and got saved. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Yes, sir. That's right. I don't know. Yes, sir. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise God. That's wonderful. That is wonderful. Amen. Well, before I tell you where to turn, I want to say I've heard some good singing. I've heard some good preaching. Amen. I get to thinking about some of the preachers that I've heard. I've heard some of the greatest preachers on this planet. My, my, my, Sammy Allen preaching, and Stenet Blue, and Mays Jackson, and Percy Ray, and Harold Sattler. Think about some of those men of God, amen, like Dr. Lee Roberson, and some of those men down in the Chattanooga area, like Milford Biddle, and Burman Cape, some of those great men of God. Then I got thinking about some of the people that I've heard by reading their messages from the Bible. I think about some of them going all the way back into the Old Testament Enoch. Jude tells us about that message that Enoch had. I think it was entitled ungodly. Amen, because he plowed through that thing and said ungodly four times, and their ungodly deeds are ungodly, ungodly, ungodly. I can see him just foaming at the mouth, praise God. I'm preaching it out, and there was Noah, the preacher of righteousness, and my, my, my, I'd like to hear some messages by men of God like Moses. Elijah and Isaiah, you know he could thunder it out. And Jeremiah, my, what a weeping prophet he was. My, my, my, the preaching we could have heard in the Old Testament. Then I think about the New Testament, some of the tremendous preachers that God had in the New Testament, like the Apostle Paul and Peter, no doubt. preached it down there on that day of Pentecost, and my, my, my, 3,000 people got saved. He preached again a couple of pages in my Bible, 5,000 more got saved. My, my, my, what some preaching. He must have been doing. I think about all the great preachers, all the great preachers in our Bible, and all the great preachers that we can read about. Some of them we read books about. When they would preach, they would have 10,000 people show up. And I'm talking about they didn't have cars to drive to come and hear them. They had to walk. And they rode on horses and wagons and made their ways days before because they knew a man of God was coming. My, my, my, what great, great history that we'll have when we think about great preachers. And I'm very thankful. But the greatest preacher that ever walked on the planet, was not the Apostle Paul. And it wasn't Elijah or Elisha, and he had a double portion. John the Baptist was great. Jesus said there's none greater than John. Born among women, there's none greater than John. That doesn't mean he was the greatest because there could have been some as great as he was. He just said there wasn't any greater than him. But there was a greater preacher than all of these I could mention. If I was to stand up here even now, there's some great preachers today. I can name y'all some preachers today that God just used them all over them. The power of God's on them. The anointing is on them. Amen. I'm watching people get saved and God helping people through their preaching. Amen. But there was one preacher that was just so much better. so much better. When I think about the Apostle John and the messages he gave us there in the book of Revelation, and my, my, my, look at the messages that were pinned down from the book of John, my, my, my. And 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, the messages that he had, tremendous what God would use the Apostle John to do, but there was one far greater than him, far greater than him. Y'all know who I'm talking about, don't you? Amen. It's Brother Dietz. No, no. Brother Dietz knows it's not Brother Dietz. And Brother Wenzel, he's not jumping up and saying, it's me. It's me. No, he knows who it is. Amen. It was the Lord Jesus himself. The apostle Paul only knew what God had told him, but the Lord Jesus knew everything. And so I want to, I want to take you to a place in our Bible where the Lord Jesus preached. And he told us some things that nobody else knew. And we can look at these places and we can find some things that he told us that are life changing. And I want you to turn over in your Bible to the book of Luke chapter 16. And before you think that you know everything about Luke chapter 16 and the story that we're about to read, amen, you might want to pay attention because God's going to show us some things in these verses. Amen. I know I have confidence. that Brother Dietz preaches from these scriptures. I know, there's no doubt about it, that Brother Winburn preaches from these scriptures. He's come to our church and preached from these scriptures. Amen. I know, there's not a doubt, that Brother Wenzel and other preachers that are in here, they preach from these scriptures. I wanted to go over to the book of 2 Timothy and preach about Onesiphorus. Y'all know about Onesiphorus, don't you? Anybody want to stand and give a book report on Onesiphorus? Amen. No, I was going to preach something and maybe say, wow, you know, y'all never heard about Onesiphorus. But that wasn't God's will, and I'm exactly where God wants me to be. Would you stand with me? Amen. We're looking in Luke chapter 16, and of course we're going to start a reading in verse number 19. Luke chapter 16 and verse number 19, a very familiar scripture here, I have no doubt, but we're gonna take a look and just kinda dive into this, swim around it a little bit, amen, and come out with some scriptures and some thoughts. Bible says there was a certain rich man. I want you to notice, first of all, this wasn't just any man, this was a certain one. He was rich, but you know, you can be rich and go to heaven, and you can be poor and go to hell. Some people think because this man was rich and the poor man got to go to paradise that if you're rich that you're automatically going to hell, but that's not true at all. Abraham was very rich, David was very rich, Solomon was probably the richest of all. My, my, my, when we look at the scriptures, Job, my, what an interesting book, the book of Job. God wanted you to know about Job, amen, more than he wanted you to know about Genesis. for they tell us that that's the oldest piece of literature that we have on record is the book of Job. And Job was rich, rich, rich. And I know bad things happened to Job, but then in the end, he was twice as rich as he ever been. You can be rich and be right with God. You can be rich and go to heaven when you die. But this was a certain man, this certain man, amen, which was rich, which was clothed in purple. That might tell you something about him. I had one preacher one time and he made a mention about those that wore purple in those days. That'll be a good study for you. Amen, and found linen and fared sumptuously every day. That word sumptuously just simply means that he had enough and to spare. In other words, he had enough, amen, to make a sandwich one day and make another sandwich for the next day. Has anybody in here got enough to make a sandwich in your refrigerator? Amen, he didn't even have a refrigerator, so you're far richer than he is, amen. Amen. That's right. Amen. Amen. The Bible says he was a rich man. He was clothed in purple and fine linen, fared sumptuously every day. There was a certain beggar named Lazarus which was laid at his gate. Man, this man was rich out of gate. Amen. And he was full of sores, the Bible says, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. And it says the rich man also died and was buried. And then the Bible tells us in verse 23, and this is the Lord Jesus actually talking right out of his mouth. It's in red letters in my Bible, but I've got another one that's black letters here, but it's still Jesus talking. And Jesus said this, and in hell he lift up his eyes. I want to stop right there and give you the title for the message. Amen. I want to look through these scriptures. We'll try to slow down just a little bit in this meeting. Amen. I want to preach on lessons learned from Luke 16. Lessons learned from Luke 16. Let's pray and you can be seated. Father, we love you. Thank you so much for loving us and letting us come to the house of God again tonight. Lord, it is an honor and a privilege to stand behind this pulpit and to preach from the Bible. I pray, God, that you'd touch it, Lord, tonight. For I realize, Lord, that if I was to say everything right and do everything seemingly correct tonight and you don't touch it, there'll be nothing done. But, God, I know that if the Spirit of the Holy One comes down, amen, then it won't be in vain and there'll be something that'll happen. God, you'll deal in a heart. Somebody will come and be saved or somebody will come and get right. Somebody will come with a burden for their family or their lost loved ones. God, I pray, Lord, that the Holy Spirit of God now take my body as I present it to you, live in sacrifice. I pray, God, you'd take it. God, use it for a vessel of honor. And, God, might you move through this congregation tonight. God, we'll praise you and thank you for everything and all that you do in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. You can be seated. I'm dealing tonight with lessons learned. LESSONS LEARNED IN LUKE 16. NOW, WHAT CAN WE LEARN ABOUT IN THIS PART? I'VE ONLY GOT TWO POINTS. AMEN? SO, BO, YOU'RE SAYING, WOW, BROTHER FRAZIER, YOU'VE ONLY GOT TWO POINTS. YEAH, BUT I'VE GOT ABOUT 13 SUB-POINTS. AMEN? We'll start off with point number one, and we're dealing with this message, again, that is from very God. God, who knows about this place, whereas men, they only know what God tells them. Here, the Lord Jesus tells us that there is a place. I'll start off with point number one tonight. I'm gonna say this message corrects, amen, seven, at least seven dangerous, devilish, DAMNABLE, DECEPTIVE DOCTRINES THAT ARE BEING TAUGHT TODAY. AMEN? ONE OF THE DOCTRINES THAT'S BEING TAUGHT TODAY, AMEN, IS THAT THERE IS NO HELL AT ALL. There are some churches out there that are teaching that there is no such place as hell. Some of the modern versions of our Bible takes the word hell out and puts the word Hades in. And you say, well, Brother Fraser, that's the original Greek word. And over in the Old Testament, you know, it was Gehenna and so forth. And I realize all that. You're not telling me anything that I haven't already studied. But I'm here to tell you, amen, that if Hades is just a grave, amen, you don't talk in your grave and you can't have conversations. You can't hear, you can't be tormented, you can't cry, you can't pray, amen, if you're just in a grave. And so one of the things that God tells us right off the bat IS THAT THERE IS AN ACTUAL PLACE, A LITERAL PLACE CALLED HELL. AMEN. AND IT'S NOT JUST A CURSE WORD. AMEN. IT'S NOT JUST A NAME. AMEN. IT'S A LITERAL, ACTUAL, PHYSICAL PLACE. AMEN. NOT EVEN A SPIRITUAL PLACE. THOUGH SOME SPIRITS ARE THERE. AMEN. IT IS AN ACTUAL, LITERAL, place. Where is it located at, Brother Frazier? According to our Bible, there are places in our Bible where God opened up the earth, and he pulled them down, he sucked them down, amen, into the place called hell, amen, down below my feet, amen. I don't know how many miles the crust is here, but in some places between 7 and 13 miles. deep, the crust of the earth starts to change into something else. As you go deeper and deeper, amen, it begins to turn into a boiling lava inferno. Amen, as you go even deeper, the changes of colors from reds and yellows and blues and whites, amen, into a darkness A flame beyond our comprehension that even the very scientist of our day tells us that in the heart of this earth, it is hotter than it is on the surface of the sun. Now for us to just be outside in a summer day, that sun can be so hot. And if we were to try to send a rocket to the sun, it wouldn't go too far, very many days. And our metals, our steel, would just melt and consume. But they tell us that down in the heart of this earth, in the middle of this ball that we're on, there is a place that is hotter than the surface of the sun. God the Lord Jesus tells us that when this man died, he went into a place called hell. Now devilish, damnable, deceptive, dishonest, amen, dangerous doctrines on this planet right now, amen. Not one church in our area, amen, tells us that you would go in there and just be annihilated. In other words, you would just be dissolved, amen, like a napkin being thrown into a raging stove. And you just throw it into the flames and it just goes, psst, psst, psst, psst. And it's over. And so they say, surely a loving God wouldn't put somebody into such a place to where they would be tormented. And so our loving God, they say, they must have a different God than what we've got, amen, because they say their loving God would never do that. And so they're calling Jesus a liar, though they say Jesus is their God. But they say, amen, that surely you would go into such a place and you would just be annihilated, amen, you would just be burned up in an instant, and it would all be over, and it would be like you never existed. But that is not what God said. LESSONS LEARNED. WE LEARNED THAT THERE IS A PLACE IN THE HEART OF THIS EARTH THAT IS A BURNING INFERNAL FIRE, AMEN? AND WE LEARNED, AMEN, THAT WHEN PEOPLE GO IN THIS PLACE, THEY DO NOT BURN UP. And so these devilish, damnable, deceptive, dishonest, dangerous doctrines that are being taught tells that there's no hell, but there is one because Jesus told us there was. And they say that you'll just be burned up and you'll just be annihilated, but God said you wouldn't. We also see the doctrine that they're teaching about soul sleep. You just go in the grave and you lay in the grave. And then later you come back out and everybody eventually will go to heaven. That is a damnable doctrine. It's not true at all. They made that up. No, no, and 10,000 more no's. God said he died and he left his eyes in hell. He lifts his eyes in the flames. He lifts his eyes, and God, amen, tells us what the man said. I am tormented. I am on fire in the flames. So we see in the scriptures, amen, there's no such thing as a purgatory. That's another one of those damnable, devilish, deceiving doctrines. Dangerous it is because a person could go about their whole life, live like they want to, and then their minds, they think that if I die, well, my grandma's a Catholic. and she'll pray and she'll get me out of there. She'll pay the priest to pray and the priest will pray me out of the purgatory. Amen. That's a damnable, devilish, deceptive, dishonest, dangerous doctrine that was made up by man because they could get money. Amen. I was up in, I was in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Dear friend of mine, his name is Mike. His mom was a Catholic and had been a Catholic pretty much all of her life. They were from up north. They'd moved down and she had a precious friend. They'd been friends pretty much since they were little girls. She was an elderly lady. had a fine home, a nice car, had some money in the bank, amen, so she could finish up her life, and sure enough, her friend died, and when she died, she went to the priest, and she talked to the priest, and the priest said, we prayed about it, and she's in purgatory. And she didn't get to go right on into heaven, amen, but she's in purgatory. And so Mike's mom said, what can I do? And they said, well, you can bring so much money, amen, and we'll pray and we'll get her out of purgatory. She believed it and went and emptied out her bank account and brought it to the priest and gave it to him. And sure enough, they went off, called her back later. She come back, and they said, we couldn't get her out. It's going to take more than that. And they said, have you got anything that you could sell? She said, I've got a car. And so sure enough, Mike's mama, I sold her car. Hey, man, took the money, went and gave it to the priest. And the priest said they went to pray, trying to get her precious friend out of purgatory. And sure enough, as they prayed, they came back, contacted her. She came back down there. And they said, we couldn't get her out. You're going to have to give more if you got anything else. She said, all I've got left is my house. And they said, if you could sell your house and give us the money, we might be able to pray her out. And sure enough, she went and sold her house. Now, Mike, my friend, he was upset, because that was his inheritance. That's what he was going to have, amen, so that he, amen, could have something to leave to his children and maybe even their children. But instead, his mom sold her house, sold her car, sold her property. Hey, sold, gave her money, emptied it all out. She is bankrupt. And they never did pray around a purgatory. You know why? Because there ain't no purgatory. You'll not find one place in this scripture where there's a purgatory. Amen? God the Lord Jesus would have told us if there was a purgatory. But he didn't tell us there was a purgatory because there ain't one. God said, amen, the rich man died and in hell he lift up his eyes. Amen, some things, amen, that corrects damnable doctrines, amen. Sure enough, amen, there is no purgatory, amen. We see that people cannot be prayed out, amen, because sure enough, amen, he's begging and pleading, amen, and praying that he might send somebody to his brethren, amen. Boy, Abraham, if you'd just send Lazarus, he could go and he could tell my brethren. that they wouldn't come to this awful place. And sure enough, he's begging and pleading, praying that Lazarus maybe would dip the tip of his finger in water and come and cool his tongue for he has tormented, tormented, tormented in the flame. But praying didn't work down in hell. We learned something. We learn that there is a place, a real place, a literal place, an actual place, that even tonight, this rich man is still there. He did not adapt to it. He did not, amen, as Timothy McVeigh, the one that blowed up those buildings, he was a marine. And they said, what are you gonna do when you go to hell? He said, oh, they've taught me how to adapt. Well, he's been there for a while now. He ain't adapted nothing, amen. This man that was begging for a cool touch on his tongue, amen, it's been 2,000 years and he's still screaming and begging that somebody, My coming touch his tongue. So we see there's no purgatory and there's no praying anybody out. Once they died lost without God, I've had dozens that have come to me, you have too. I'm sure Brother Wenzel's had somebody come up, would you pray for this person here? They died the other day. Brother Wenzel is probably kind and doesn't want to doesn't want to make it any worse in the moment. But he knows there is no praying for this person. Hey man there's no there's no praying. Hey man he doesn't even commit to pray for him. He doesn't even tell him that he's going to go home and pray for him. It's too late to pray for them. Hey man you can pray all you want to you ain't getting them out. Hey man they have made that choice and they are there. Amen. There are no second chances. God, the Lord Jesus, makes it clear. Here's a lesson we can learn from the message from Jesus, God in the flesh, amen, that this man, amen, that there's no second chances for him. One of the saddest places in our Bible is verse number 27, and it's the first three words. The first three words says, then he said. That word then, he has come to the realization, Brother Dustin, Amen, that there's no more praying for a drop of water. There's no praying for mercy. There's no praying, begging and pleading. He knows he's not getting out. He knows he's there for, amen. I know hell will be brought up with the great white throne. Amen, they'll be judged and all will be found guilty that comes out of hell. Amen, and they'll all be put back into hell and thrown into a lake of fire. Amen. Hail. Amen. Forever. Amen. You don't get out. You don't get a second chance. Amen. You don't get to do it over. Amen. That damnable, deceptive doctrine. Amen. That you'll be reincarnated into something else. Amen. And you'll get a higher position as a person. That's a devil doctrine. THERE'S NO SUCH THING IN THE BIBLE AS THAT. YOU DON'T COME BACK AS A BUG. YOU DON'T GET TO COME BACK AS A RAT OR A PIG, AMEN, OR AN ELEPHANT, AMEN. YOU DON'T GET TO COME BACK AS A RICHER PERSON OR AS A SERVANT, AMEN. HEY, ONCE YOU DIE, IT'S OVER! NO MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO BE SAVED. He lifted his eyes in hell, and he began to beg and plead. A man lifted up his eyes, being in torments. Amen. We know that there's torments in hell. It doesn't matter what a preacher on TV says. Amen. They can say there's no fire in hell, and they're all liars. Amen. God, God, the Lord Jesus, a man tells us that a man lifted up his eyes, tormented in the flames, he said. Amen. Verse number 24 says, I am tormented in this flame. Don't tell me there's no flame there. God's already told us that they are. Don't tell me you're not tormented. Amen. God's already told us that you are. And what does he do? He cries. He cries. Father Abraham, have mercy. But there's no mercy. There's no mercy. No mercy. Amen. Verse 25, Abraham said to him, some remember that thou in thy lifetime receivest thy good things and likewise Lazarus evil things. Now he's comforted and thou art tormented. That was a little bit different then than it is now. And here's the difference. At that very time, there was a great gulf. On one side of that gulf was hell. Amen. An actual place where those that had never been saved, those that had never accepted God, amen, that they went to. Across that gulf on the other side was a place called Paradise, or Abraham's bosom. Amen. There in Abraham's bosom were those that had received God and accepted God. Amen. Had believed. Amen. I believe the gospel. Amen. And they came and they were on the other side. Amen. You could look across that. And you could see from one side to the other, but there was no way to cross over. I preached a message one time on wishing you could go to hell. No doubt Lazarus looked over, and because he was a loving man and cared, he could look over and hear him screaming and see him over there in the darkness, begging and pleading. No doubt he wanted to go, but he can't go because he's in hell, and Lazarus can never go to hell. There's, in this message, there's many things that are refuted or corrected by the Lord Jesus. Amen. Number two, amen, I see this message confirms several divine doctrines in this message. Number one, amen, the soul is immortal. These people that went either to hell or to paradise, they are still One, amen, has eternal life and the other has, listen, eternal death. Amen. They are conscious. They can talk. They can see. They can hear. Amen. No doubt they can smell. No doubt they can feel. Amen. They have all the senses that we have today. Amen. But the difference is not only can he not die, amen, he is immortal. That man has been there now for over 2,000 years, screaming and begging and never got used to it. Timothy McVeigh did not adapt to it. He did not, though he was a Marine. Amen. I learned how, amen, to get along with it. No, he is hurting as much right now as he did when he first dropped off in there. This man is screaming, amen, and feeling the same pain and torment, amen, that right now, as he did the first moment he dropped off in there. God teaches us that you are immortal once you are conceived. Amen. Once you are conceived, not when you come out of the womb. Amen. There's something special happens when someone is conceived. Amen. They become a soul. Amen. They become immortal. I will live forever. Because I'm saved, I have eternal life. It's the only one God's got, Mason. He don't have a temporary life. He don't have a life maybe you can get there if you endure enough. He don't have that kind of life. He said, I give them eternal life, everlasting life. That's what John 3.15 and John 3.16 declares, eternal life and everlasting life. God gives it to the person that receives it and is born again. This man died lost, and he went into hell. And when he went into hell, he begged and pleaded, and he's still begging and pleading today. The soul is eternal. Amen. I see that God is no respecter of person. God did not say well this man's rich so I'm going to let him come on in and this man's poor and he's got sores and I don't want to have sores up here in the heavens or in this paradise. And so then God says you can't come. No God is not a respecter of person. In other words, he's not going to take you because you're better than somebody else. Hey man, you say, well, I'm not as bad as that guy down the road. Hey man, you're probably ain't as bad. Why, you say, Brother Frazier, I've been better than you have. And you may have. It ain't got nothing to do with you being better. It ain't got nothing to do with me being good. That Bible declares there's none good, no, not one. Hey man, we've all gone astray. We're all as an unclean thing. All of our righteousness, not our bad things, but our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. God declares, amen, that it's, amen, it's like the rags, amen, the word picture is that it's like the rags that they wipe the pus from the leper. That's what God thinks about Chris Winsburn's good works. That's your good things. That's your righteous things. That's your prayer life, amen, without God. That's your prayer life without being saved. Amen. Did you pray before you were saved? Most of you in here probably did. You know what God thinks about your prayer life before you got saved? Filthy rags. He said, well, I helped somebody across the road when I was a little kid. Wonderful. God says it's filthy rags. HE'S NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE A GOOD PERSON. HEY MAN, HE'S NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE BETTER THAN SOMEBODY ELSE. HE'S NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT AS BAD AS SOMEBODY ELSE. WELL, I AIN'T NEVER KILLED NOBODY. I HEAR THAT ALMOST EVERY TIME I TALK TO SOMEBODY. HEY, CAN I TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE LORD? WELL, I'VE NEVER KILLED ANYBODY. I AIN'T NEVER KILLED ANYBODY EITHER. HEY MAN, BUT YOU DON'T GO TO HEAVEN BECAUSE YOU NEVER KILLED ANYBODY. There's devilish, damnable, deceptive, dishonest, dangerous doctrines being taught today, amen, about hell, amen, but God, the Lord Jesus, clears it all up, and we learn lessons, amen, that there is a real place called hell, and you don't just annihilate and disappear, and it's not a soul sleep in a grave, and there's no such thing as purgatory, and there's no praying out, amen, that there's nobody, amen, that's eventually gonna come out and go to heaven, You don't get a second chance. You don't get another opportunity. And we see that you're going to be somewhere forever. Brother Allen was here. He'd probably adjust his tie right here and stand up. And he'd probably say, let me say just a word right there. And he'd say, it's forever. Did y'all ever hear him say it? He'd take his coat and wad it up and twist it. And he'd say, forever. And he'd say that about 20 times in a row. Forever, forever, forever, forever, forever. And people just get up and start running to the altar. Forever, forever, forever, he'd say it. Hey, if you go to hell, it's forever. Forever. The Word of God knows more than you do. Jesus knows more than you know. This generation thinks they know everything. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Amen. They think that they have a knowledge above God himself. Many of them don't even think that there is a God. And they call themselves atheists. But God don't believe in atheists. Amen. And they call themselves atheists. Amen. Saying they don't believe in God. But I'm here to tell you. Amen. There is a God. And God pinned this down. Now Paul couldn't have pinned it down, amen, and Peter couldn't have pinned it down, Elijah couldn't have pinned it down, amen, but God the Lord Jesus, amen, had these gospels, amen, and in Luke he had him to pin it down, amen, God tell us an actual event of an actual person that was actually a name, amen, of these people, amen, and he went off into hell and one went to paradise. The Lord Jesus after he was buried, amen, he descended down into the heart of the earth. Amen, there was some preaching involved and then the Lord Jesus brought him up, out, amen, allowed many to walk in the streets of Jerusalem. Amen, 40 days they walked around in the streets. Amen, Jesus took them out. Amen, took captivity, captive, amen, and brought them up. Amen, and now our paradise, amen, our heaven is where God abodes at. But hell is still there. There is a scripture that says hell has enlarged itself. Amen. And the word of God knows more than you. You say, well, I just don't see how. I know you can't see how. When I was lost, I couldn't see either. That's why God compares so many things to being, amen, like not being able to see, amen, not being able to walk, not being able to talk or to listen or to hear, amen. God tells us that there is a place called hell, and that place is real. And listen, it is a flaming fire, and people that go there do not burn up, amen. And so lastly, I want to say this. God also, amen, makes it clear that there is a choice to be made. If this rich man didn't go to hell because he was rich, then why did he go? If this poor man that was a beggar on the setting by the gate, so filthy and diseased and sores all over his body, couldn't afford a doctor, begging for the crumbs that would fall from the rich man's table. Amen. Dogs now have come and had pity on him, and they are licking his sores. The only compassion that he had. Could the rich man have helped him? Absolutely he could have. Amen. But he didn't. And he sat there, he laid there rotting on the bone. Are y'all listening? This man is rotting. Amen. Starving to death. Wishes he could go through somebody's garbage. Amen. And he's there dying. Amen. The rich man is eating the fine meals at his house. And everything's going well. Amen. He's got everything that he could desire. And then he dies. And Abraham's son, remember thou in thy lifetime hadst thy good things. The choice has to be made now. If you die and pastor has your funeral, maybe Brother Winslow, maybe you're from his church or other churches, Brother Craig, maybe from Morningstar, someone dies, Brother Young gets up to preach, amen, their choice has already been made. We can all pray, we can beg and plead God. Brother Young confessed, amen. We can all gather together as a group and say, oh God, would you please just give them one more chance, one more opportunity. I wouldn't even pray with you, and neither would Brother Wenzel. Because we've already learned the lesson. And the lesson is, they made their choice while they were here. That is why God says now is the accepted time. Now's the day. Behold, today is the day of salvation. That is why God says, come now, amen. Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. That is why Jesus says, come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest. That's why God makes it urgent because, hey, when you miss heaven, you miss it all. And I'll be honest with you. It's a scary thing to be praying about a message and God make it clear. To preach about a message that's so horrible. And Brother Wenzel and Brother Dietz will make, they'll tell you they know what that's like. To be praying, God, what do you want me to say? What do you want me to do tonight? All that matters to me, Brother Wenzel, is what God wants. I'm not trying to impress anybody. I'm not trying to get somebody to go woo, ah, wow, no, no. All I want to do is please God. And it's a fearful thing. It's a fearful thing to be praying and God say, I want you to go here. Because Brother Chris, he would not have me go here for no reason. I'm confident Brother Chris knows about this part of the scriptures. He's preached it. He knows about it. I'm confident that Caleb knows about it. April knows about it. I'm confident, amen, that the people of this church and the church across the road and the church, amen, a few miles, I'm confident that y'all know about it. But somebody here. Because God wouldn't have me to preach this if everybody already knows. That'd be a waste of time. And you say, well preacher, if you look at the congregation, and you think that 90% of them, you should have preached on something for them. Oh no, because we're running out of time. Hey Matty, you only get one chance. You only get one opportunity. And so God, God had me to preach this message tonight. It would have been no problem for me to have preached one of 8,000 different messages. But God wanted me to preach this message. Somebody needed this message. It may be you may not change anything. You may be too prideful. Why would everybody think? I've already said I was saved. And you may go out of here just like you came in. But when you stand before God, you will not be able to say, I did not know. You will not be able to say, God, you didn't give me a chance. God, you didn't give me opportunity. I didn't have an opportunity to call on you for God is fixing to make an opportunity for you to come and you can come just like the lady that was over at China Grove at the back to Bethel. Brother Winslow was there and I was preaching and she came running down and grabbed Linda and went to the altar and said she'd been teaching Sunday school. I mentioned it yesterday. Hey man, for 49 years and she was lost. I told the church, Brother Wenzel, about preaching down in Conyers, Georgia just this year, back in June, and a woman got up, a deacon's wife. They'd been, hey, at that church for years and years and years. Seventy-one years old, she'd come running down to the altar, amen, and begged out and called out to God and got gloriously saved. She knew she had been lost, but every time the opportunity comes, she would think, what will everybody think? What will my husband think? He's a deacon of the church and a song leader. And if I go down there, what will he think? You know what he did, Caleb, once he got saved? He said, you have embarrassed me. Get out. No, he didn't. I watched that old man, he barely could walk, I watched him hobble his way over there with tears falling down his face and he was just staggering when he got over to her. And he throwed his arms around her and they hugged like it was the first time they ever hugged in their lives. And he wept and cried and we jumped and run and shouted all over the house. Hey man, others started coming. There was six got saved that night. Man, they were all over here getting saved, crying and weeping. Another lady that taught Sunday school, she ran down there and got saved. Hey man, another woman was 54 years old. She come down and got saved. Hey man, a couple of young people, about 10, 12 years old, they was over here getting saved. God all over the place. I watched that woman holding on to her husband's neck. And she was looking like she was looking plumb through the roof. Amen. And she was crying. Amen. And she started testifying. I ain't going to hell for nobody. I ain't going to hell for nobody, she said. I ain't going to hell for nobody. And so the choice has to be made before you die. All would make that choice after they die. Wahoo! I would go into a fire and not want to come out. but they don't get any other opportunities. There is no mercy in this place called hell. And I would to God, listen now, listen. I would to God you could just burn up, but God taught us a lesson you don't. And God one day, Brother Wenzel, will bring them up at a great white throne, and we will be there to watch it. I don't want to be there. I don't want to see it. I believe you can mark it down, Brother Fraser said this, I believe it will be the worst day of our existence. We'll see people that we know come up. God will bring up hell. He'll bring up hell. He'll start dumping them out and they'll start walking before Him. He'll, hey, God the Lord Jesus will be on the throne. Amen. The one that wrote these very things, had it pinned down, the one that spoke it out of his mouth and had Luke, amen, to write it down on paper, around on skin so that we could have it. Amen. God the Lord Jesus, amen. I'll listen to them and they'll beg and they'll scream and they'll plead with God. Oh God, I'm on fire. I've been burning. Oh God. Have mercy on me, oh God. Oh God, they'll be begging and pleading. Maybe one might turn, amen, and look at me and say, hey, you, I know you. And that old song will ring in my ear. You met me day by day and knew I was astray. But you never mentioned him to me. And oh, no wonder Brother Mwenzel, he'll have to wipe away tears from her eyes. Church, do you know somebody lost? And if you won't go tell them, if you won't go talk to them, if you won't go plead with them, if you won't go beg them, if you won't, hey, I'll buy you a hamburger. I'll take you, hey, I'll take you out to eat. You ain't got something to wear? I don't know how many times my wife has give her dresses away. We've went and knocked on a door and some lady come to the door and we'd talk to her. And she'd say, I'd come but I ain't got no dress. and of course we'd tell her, come like you are, come like you are, God wants you to come just like you are. Oh no, I couldn't come, I couldn't come, I don't have anything. Linda would say, hey, I'll go get you something. Then we'd go to the house and Linda would go in there and pick out not just something she never wore, she'd go in there and pick out the best she had and we'd go back and bring it to her, amen, bring it to her and hand it to her and Linda would say, here's your address. If you're not gonna tell them, Now who's going to tell them? And if you're here tonight and you're not saved, hear this preacher well. When you take your last breath, just like this man here, you'll close your eyes and you'll lift them in hell. And I'm going to tell you what you're going to do. you're going to scream and you're going to go, Oh God! Oh God! Oh God! No! Oh God! Oh God! And you'll be begging God, but it'll be too late. It will be too late. Let's bow our heads together. Amen. Maybe God's dealt with your heart. If he's pricked your heart, just prick
