No one could change me from what I'd been. But Jesus did. He didn't care how low I was. He reached down to pick me up. My soul He saved, my life He changed. No one could fix something so broken, but Jesus did. No one would love me after what I've been. No one can save me. from my own sin. And no one can fix something so broken, but Jesus did. Jesus did. Preacher, I want to thank God for saving me, for all He's done for me. And I was talking with a lady today, and I was like, We was kind of comparing our lives growing up. Kind of sound like you had a similar life that I grew up in. And I was like talking about going back to the apartment complex I grew up in. They were on Moorhead Street in Claremont and I thought nobody comes down that street. You wouldn't dare come down that street. It was such a mess. Just broken people, broken homes, broken lives, broken marriages. drugs, alcohol, outcast, misfits, society just cast them all away. But there was a man that came down that street, the Lord Jesus Christ. And I'm so thankful that he pulled me out of that junk and saved me and washed me in water and snow and changed my life. I have no desire for that junk, no desire whatsoever. And it's only through the power of God that I didn't fall into the same traps, the same traps. According to statistics, I'm more prone to that, based on what they say, from my heritage and from people, my DNA and my parents and their parents and their parents. But, you know, I had that blood transfusion. Now I take after my Father, my Heavenly Father. And so I just want to praise His holy name for that. Well, by the world's estimation, I probably shouldn't even be here either. I really shouldn't. It's a miracle that I even got saved. Just a miracle. I wasn't raised in church. My grandma had a sister, Ruby. She took me to a little Methodist church down the road. And the preacher had her down here doing his thing, you know. I never got nothing out of that. Yep. And nobody ever knocked on our door. And I lived within view of the Baptist church. I could go out my front door and look and see the Baptist church right there and see it. As far as I remember, nobody ever come knocked on our door. But Jesus. He had his eye on me the whole time. I wasn't looking for him. The boy, he wasn't looking at me. I believe I'm gonna reach down there and save that old boy. He could have let me go to hell. He should have let me go to hell. He should have let me go to hell. I'm so glad Jesus loved me. I'm glad he came after me. I tell you, the Holy Ghost of God got on my trail. It was more than just the preacher, it was God. God after me, buddy. Holy Ghost, God after me. And I'm glad he didn't let up. I mean, it got worse as the days went by. And it finally come to a climax. Amen. Thank God, October the 28th, 1982. Old-fashioned order about two minutes after eight. I ask God to save me and to forgive me. And I'm not like a lot of these folk. I didn't really feel nothing. To be honest with you, I didn't feel a thing. I got up from there by faith. I said, Lord, I'm going to believe that you did what you said you'd do. And next day, I was telling people about, geez, didn't even know what I was doing. I said, I got saved last night. But you know what? It wasn't long that I found out that somebody had moved in that hadn't ever been there before. And that I wasn't gonna be able to live and do what I'd been doing before. Yeah, I tried, I tried just a little bit of that. Lord said, you can't do that no more. And he began to just take things out of my life. My desires changed. Jesus did all that. So I'm glad I'm saved tonight. And I give God all the glory for it. And it's so good to be in church tonight. Aren't you glad you're in church? I'm so glad I'm in church tonight. And I appreciate being around my friends and my family. And I'm glad the Lord has let me be around Brother Frazier. Receive Brother Fraser. So, can't wait to hear him preach, so I'm gonna get out of the way. Amen. You come on up, Preacher. All right, let's get our Bibles. We're going to look over in the book of Ephesians, Ephesians chapter number five, Ephesians chapter number five in your Bible. And if you will stand with me, we're going to read just one verse. Amen. And then we're going to pray and let you be seated. All right. And I get to stand up the whole time while y'all get to say it. So surely y'all can stand up for a couple of minutes. Amen. Ephesians chapter number 5, and we're looking at verse number 18. This is a commandment from God. This is not a request. He's not asking. He's either your Lord or He's not. Okay, this is what He says. Be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. Most of the time, a lot of the times, you'll hear a preacher get up, and he'll take that verse, and he'll preach against drinking, and he ought to, and I do, too. Amen, and it's needed in this day. My, my, my, it is killing. Now, to be honest with you, they're talking about the fentanyl. Drinking kills dozens more. Amen, dozens more. I mean to one. I mean thousands, hundreds of thousands die because of drinking. It's a huge number more than it is that's dying of fentanyl. Amen. And when you think about anything just about you can think of. In other words, I heard just the other day a statistic. They said the second greatest killer in America was drinking. Somebody might kill theirself, but it was because they were drinking. Somebody might have a car crash and kill somebody, but it was because they were drinking. Some man may kill his wife, but it was because he was drinking. Some teenager might commit suicide, but it was because he was drinking. And when you mark it all down, boy, you want to know what would be one of the greatest things they could ever do for our country? It would be a man to make a law against drinking alcohol. But that's not what I'm preaching on tonight. I know that I have here the church, amen, on Wednesday night. And I am, it's a blessing to have Brother Miles and his family that come over, but the majority of you, I realize, are from this church. And so I want to take the opportunity to try to say something that would make a difference and a blessing, be a blessing to this church. Notice in here in the scriptures, I'm going to focus on the second part of that paragraph where it says, but be filled with the Spirit, filled with the Spirit. Let's pray and you can be seated. Father, we love you. Thank you so much for loving us and letting us come to church. God, it's been a great, great blessing already this week as it always has been to come to this great church with this great man of God and these great people God and be able to open up the Word of God. What a privilege it is. What an honor it is, God, that we can open up the Bible, the King James Bible, and be able to proclaim the treasures that are within. I pray, God, for the church that's here tonight. God, that you'd help them to see the importance and the seriousness of being filled with the Holy Ghost. I pray, God, that you'd help me me, Lord, that you'd fill me with the Spirit of God right now. God, I pray, Lord, you'd empty me out and fill me back up. God, with the Spirit of God, help me, Lord Jesus, to preach with unction and power and help the people, Lord, to receive the Word of God with gladness. We'll thank you. We'll praise you. We'll give you all the glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen and amen. You can be seated. Now, there was this lady, she went down to the Cadillac place. She bought a brand new car. I'm talking about a nice, brand new Cadillac. That thing costed $93,214.12. Amen. And she bought it. I mean, it was beautiful. It had leather interior, sunroofs. It had all kinds of stuff. And she got in that thing. It'd vibrate. The seat would massage you going down the road. I mean, it even had the reflection on the on the windshield that would tell you what to do and what the speed limit was. And my, my, my, it had every kind of thing you could imagine as far as extras on that car. And she drove it for about a week. It was beautiful. It run perfect. She loved it. It had the new car smell. I mean, everything was wonderful about it. And then she was just driving down the road and all of a sudden the thing just quit on her. And so she didn't know what to do. She pushed that button and sure enough, It come over the car, that voice with whatever star it is, amen, it come over the top of the car and said, can we help you? And she said, yeah, my car's quit on me. We'll have somebody come out right away. Sure enough, somebody from the Cadillac place run out to her. I got it, towed it in, amen. And they said, ma'am, you sit here in this area, waiting area. We'll go check the car out. And the serviceman, just soon as he got in it, Turned the key over, glanced down at his obvious. Y'all know what he was, don't you? He had run out of gas. And so sure enough, he went back to the waiting area and said, ma'am, said, the reason your car quit on you is because it's out of gas. And she said, well, will it hurt it to drive it that way? I started to entitle it tonight. Will it hurt it to drive it that way? Will it hurt it for you to live your life without being filled up? Will it hurt? Will it hurt anything? And the answer is yes. Amen. Will it hurt anything if you try to drive it? Amen. If we took you up here on the hill and your car was empty on gas out here on the interstate, stopped off, amen, and you got in it, we gave you a good shove, would it hurt anything if you don't have any gas in it? Well, sure enough. If you could fight it and get it over into the road, and you're coasting down the hill, everybody else running 80, and passing you, blowing horns and everything, you getting it up, man, you got it up to 20 mile an hour coming down that hill. Then you started back the other side, and it stopped on you in the middle of the road. Cars are coming. All of a sudden, one slams into you, and another, and another. Cars are spinning. Trucks are flipping. Hey, man, people are dying. Will it hurt it to drive it that way? Well, yeah, don't get on the interstate. If you're empty, that'd be plum foolish, wouldn't it? My, my, my. And sure enough, I wonder, will it hurt your life? Will it hurt somebody else's life? If you drive it, you run your life and not be filled up with God. Amen, one of the greatest blessings of being saved is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I preached a message, Brother Moss was talking about it just a little bit earlier. I preached it over at the Morning Star Baptist Church and talked about that man that had those devils inside of him. I talked about being possessed by the devil, amen, and sure enough, That man had at least 2,000 devils on the inside of his body. Amen. One of the benefits and one of the blessings of being saved, amen, is once God comes in, amen, you don't have to worry about devils coming in. Amen. There's no vacancy sign that comes up. but when the devils come to move in, amen, they glance up and see that and know that God's in there and they can't come in. Hey, I want to say to you in case you don't know it, but if you're not saved, you're an empty vessel. You're wide open. You're like a motel room, amen, and at any given time, devils could come in. So I wanna be filled with the Spirit of God. Amen. I wanna turn over to the book of Acts with me. If you would, turn over to the book of Acts with me. And we're gonna look at some people. We're gonna focus on one individual especially that was full of the Holy Ghost. Full of the Holy Ghost. And you say, preacher, you're probably gonna go over to chapter number six and you're gonna talk about those deacons. Well, all the deacons, amen, are supposed to be full of the Holy Ghost, amen. But we don't have to be. Well, there's people out there now, they're saying, yeah, those deacons are not supposed to drink, but we can. But God's not talking to just deacons over there when he said, and be not drunk with wine where it is excess, but be ye filled with the Holy Spirit of God, amen. Amen, we're looking in chapter number six, and of course we are talking about some men that were full of the Holy Ghost. I'm gonna preach for just a few minutes on this subject. Stephen, the spirit-filled Christian. Amen, Stephen, the spirit-filled Christian. Now I wanna say this to you tonight, I am preaching to you. Sometimes I can go to a church and I can say, I'm going to preach this to the lost. And Brother Moss, 90% of the people in the church, 99% of the people in the church may be saved and they can almost just take a deep breath and blow it back out Austin and say, well, he ain't talking to me tonight. If he's preaching the lost tonight, he can't be talking to me because I'm not lost, I'm saved. Amen. Sure enough, amen. It would be focusing on just a very small percentage of the church. Amen. The message I have for tonight is not for a very small percentage of the church. The message that I'm preaching tonight is for Mason. And it's for Katie. And it's for the pastor of the church. Amen. It's for Jeremiah. It's for Chris. It's for Leland. Amen. It is for you. It is for Brother Moss. Amen. It is for Austin. Amen. It is for everybody in this building. Everybody in this building. I don't believe I'm gonna get anybody to raise their hand on this. As Brother Allen used to say, I'm gonna give you this proposition. I want you to raise your hand if you're just as full of the Holy Ghost as you possibly could be. There's no way you can be any fuller of the Holy Ghost. Would you raise up your hand? And you know what, I never did see anybody raise their hand. And I was there and I didn't raise my hand. So if I was asked that question now, how many of you could just raise up your hand and say, Brother Frazier, I'm so full of God. I am so full of the Holy Ghost. Amen. I am so Spirit-filled. And I'm not talking about being saved. Amen. When you're saved, amen, the Holy Spirit of God comes inside, just like that brand-new car. Amen. She left out of that parking lot. with the new car smell, amen, the leather interior, amen, and the sunroof, and the brand new tires, and everything, amen. But, amen, you're not going to go too very far, amen, until you need to be filled back up again, amen. I've seen people could be filled up one day and needed to be filled up again the next day. I've seen people get full up, God, amen, and it lasts a week. I've seen churches, amen, that I've went and preached revivals at, and that church get filled up with the Spirit of God. I come back the next year, and they're still full of God, amen, because they're keeping theirself filled, amen. They keep dropping by the filling station, amen, this is the filling station, amen, and getting God, amen, this is the filling station, amen, amen, filling it up, amen. You'll never be full of God unless you're full of the Word of God. David, now let me preach to you for just a minute, because I can tell if I don't get started, hey, man, I'm liable to run out of gas. Well, by the way, will it hurt to preach that way? Yes? Amen. Why don't you look at chapter number 6 and verse number 3 with me just real quick. Again, I'm preaching to you. I was helping my grandson put together a little car we bought for him. A little old car. You could sit on it and push it around. And a little car. well carheader stickers that you can put on you know i have tried you know how we may in our you know you you don't look you don't read the instructions i mean and if i can't put together a pedal car i mean i i mean really i mean yeah i'm a man yeah and so you get it you emptied all out of the box and what do you do with that that that little book they gave you i'll tell you what you throw that in the trash i carry all this stuff here and throw it in the trash And then you go over and you start putting it together, and you get it all done, and you're wondering where this extra part here goes, and why it won't roll, and why this ain't right, and why is this wheel over here? And so then you go dig it back out of the garbage, and it's got that where Linda's raked the spaghetti off on top of it, and you're having to try to scratch it and see if you can figure out what that sentence says. We learn as we go, man. We learn as we go. Amen. I had to confess my faults one to another. Amen. But when we got all done with it, all was left was just putting the stickers on. And so sure enough, my little, at the time, he just a little three-year-old, and he said, Pa, Pa, when I put the stickers on, and I said, you sure can, son. And of course, the manual told, the little instructions, I guess I should say, it showed where every one of them went. But, hey, it didn't have to go everywhere that it was supposed to go. So, sure enough, he went to putting, you know, it was supposed to be this lightning strike down the side, and he put it on the hood instead of the side, and amen, and it had a little thing over here, and he put it, he just put them wherever he wanted to. It's the cutest thing you ever seen, amen. But when he got done, amen, he had a little gas, he had a little sticker for the gas gauge, and instead of putting it there on the dash, amen, he had stuck it over on the back, and of course it wasn't where it was supposed to be, and it just fell off. I just reached and got it the next day. I preached at Victor Baptist Church, amen, on being filled with the Holy Ghost, and I stuck it to my forehead. And that little sticker, it had a gauge on it, and this being empty over here, this being full over here, it was ideal, this sticker was, because it was on about a quarter of a tank. It didn't have it on full, had it on about a quarter of a tank. And I preached this message on being filled with the Holy Ghost, filled with the Holy Spirit of God, amen, and I talked about it. I had that sticker right there on my forehead. I said, boy, wouldn't it just be wonderful if God would have put a gauge on our forehead. Now, I'll tell you what, I love my truck. I like my truck. I hope you like my truck. If you've seen my truck, you'd like it. If you rode in it, you'd really like it, amen. But my truck has got more gauges than any truck I've ever had. I have never in my life had a truck that had a gauge I had an automatic transmission fluid gauge to tell me how hot the fluid in my truck. I've never had it. Have you ever had one? Did yours tell you that? You know why? Because yours ain't a Ford. You have got a Kia. I got gauges all over the dash of my truck. I've got a gauge over here that tells you how many RPMs. That's rounds per minute that the motor's turning. I buy thousands. Hey, man, it can be on 2,000. Hey, man, two, and that's 2,000 rounds per minute. That little old motor, little old 2.7 in it, man, that thing's wheezing like a sewing machine. Hey, man, and I've got another gauge that tells me how fast I'm going. I've got a gauge over here that tells me that it's I'm recharging my battery. I've got another gauge over there that tells me how hot the engine is. I've got another gauge over there that tells me how hot the transmission is. Hey, man, I've got another gauge. I've got gauges all over the thing. It tells me how many miles I went, how many miles I got left to go before I run out of gas. Hey, man, it's got all kinds of warnings. And I was driving it one day, and sure enough, hey, man, the ding-dinger went off. Y'all's got a ding-dinger on y'all, don't you? Amen. And sure enough, I'm driving along, me and Linda was talking, and I forgot about filling it up with gas, and we were driving along on the interstate, and all of a sudden, it went ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. I thought, man, I've got my safety belt on, and the door's shut. What in the world's going on here? And I glanced over there, and there was a little message on there. And it said, you've got so many miles to empty. Thank God it told me. Hey man, so I started looking for a gas station. Hey man, I went to the next gas station. I didn't want to go on back. I think I can do better than that, get a better deal on up the road. Hey man, you know how come I don't do that? Y'all want to know why? Joe, I'll tell you why I don't do that. Because I've seen too many walking on the interstate with a little red jug in their hand. prettiest little pocketbook you ever seen. Amen. And I've seen them standing there trying to get enough in their gas tank, amen, so that they can start the car up. I don't play around when that little ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding thing comes on, amen, and it's a ding, ding, ding, amen, you got to 50 miles, amen, I don't trust that, amen, when you tell me I'm low, amen, I'm looking for a gas station. If I pull in and it's 30 cents higher than it is two more miles up road, I don't care. All I got in my mind is walking on the interstate with a little red pocketbook. And so sure enough, I had that sticker on my forehead. I said, boy, wouldn't it be something if God would have made us, amen, and he had to put a gauge right here on our forehead. And it would have been able to tell us how full of the Holy Spirit we are. But then I reach up and pull that thing off, and I said, no, I don't know if I'd want everybody to be able to see that or not. We preachers might get up and, turn in your Bibles tonight. We're a preacher. And John 3, 16. And everybody looking at you, and it's over here going ding, ding, ding, ding. This ain't gonna work, Brother Miles. It ain't gonna work. Everybody looking at each other. Can you believe this guy? Man, we need to vote on this, I'm telling you. What if you had a gauge? What if I had a gauge? Would I be embarrassed tonight if I had a gauge and I was to stand up here behind this pulpit? Y'all have come, amen, thank God. Y'all have come, you've invited me to come, got confidence in me or you wouldn't let me stand behind here if you didn't have confidence in me. But my, my, my, I wonder if I had a gauge right here. I wonder if it'd be three quarters of a tank or would it be a half? Am I half full of God? Am I, or would it be a quarter of a time, would it be an eighth? Would my ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding be going off? I mean, where would I be at? Am I full? You know, I had a truck one time, it was a Ford truck too, by the way, amen, and it had a gauge, and when you filled it up, amen, it'd go plumb past full. and it would go plumb on past it. I mean, it looked like it had a whole another quarter of a tank. Has anybody ever had one like that? And I'll tell you what, it gets so full, hey man, you could drive it for three or four days before it'd even get back to full on the thing. Hey man, I would wanna gauge, hey man, how that it could go plumb past full, hey man, and crank plumb over there, hey man, like it had another whole quarter of a tank in it. I don't, I wish I could say, that if I had a literal actual gauge on my forehead, that it would be plumb over past full, dangling over yonder, the needle struggling because it's putting such a strain on it. Situations can happen in your life. and it seems like it can really put a strain on you. You know, if I'm pulling something with that truck, it don't get near as good as gas mileage. I'll tell you how good a gas mileage it's got, but y'all wouldn't believe me, and y'all would think I was lying. But the thing is, it gets really good gas mileage, amen. But if I'm pulling a bobcat behind it with that little sewing machine motor in there, amen, and I've got 10,000, 12,000 pounds behind me, amen, it don't get very good. And when I hit those hills, it really puts a strain on it. And instead of it getting 25 mile a gallon, Amen, it sucks it way down there, nine mile a gallon. If I've got more on me, it seems like I don't stay as full. Amen, when I get so much on me, so much stress, can y'all ladies get with me on this right here? Is it okay if I say amen in here, amen? Amen, y'all gotta agree with me, when you get a lot of stuff on you, amen, you got a lot of stress on you, situations in your family, amen, things going on everywhere, amen, it just weights you down. And when you get weighted down, it seems like, amen, that that gauge, amen, Before you know it, it can be sucked back over, and you're empty. I preached this message up around Hickory not too long ago, and there was a lady, she got up, came up to me, and she said, I just bursted out crying, and she said, all of my gauges are on empty. All of my gauges are on empty. She had had tragedy after tragedy in her family. Amen. Situation after situation, and she said, all of my gauges are on empty. She ran to the altar and fell down. Amen. Her husband got up. He met her down here. They wept and cried and hugged on each other and tears falling. I mean, tell you what, the church got around them, showed them that they loved them, tried to help them back up. Amen. She stayed down there for quite a while, just weeping and crying. She said, all of my gauges. The next night, she come, amen, and after staying down there for a while, she come back and she said, I'm not going to try to tell you that I'm full, but she said, I'm not on empty anymore. She said, I've got some in the tank. Amen. She stood up and bragged on God. Amen. You could tell while she was bragging on God and thanking God for saving her, you could almost see God pumping that, amen, the Holy Ghost of God, amen, into her tank. I wonder if we had, you know, an actual gauge. If I had one and I could walk around like a thermometer, you know they got them now where they can just point at you, pull the trigger. They did that during that COVID. I had a few funerals that I had to go preach. They didn't want nobody in there but me. And the people was just scared to death. The funeral homes, they'd meet me at the door and stand back here like I had cooties or something. And they'd say, don't come in yet, don't come in yet. They had that little gun pointed at me. And I'm like, whoa, wait a minute, I ain't going nowhere. And she'd go, okay, all right, you can come in. And then she'd turn it on Linda and say, don't come in, don't come in. I mean, she's hot, boy, she's mad. One of them, I came to the door and I mean, tell you what, this old lady, I'm telling you what, she got off the ark. This one was 175 year old. I mean, she got back there, her glasses was so big, looked like the bottom of them old Coca-Cola bottles. And I'm not talking about the little eight ounces, I'm talking about the 32 ounce ones, amen. There's that big around on each side. Hey man, she came back out of the back and I come walking up. Hey man, and she throwed that thing on me and she said, you ain't coming in. You can't come in here. You can't come in here. You need to go on. I said, ma'am, I'm the preacher. She said, oh. What if I had a, what if I had one of those? And I could walk around in the congregation. Some of y'all looking nervous. I ain't even got one. but i can just ease around through here throw it on your forehead and pull the trigger what if i had a gauge on my forehead Let's look at Stephen for just a minute. Hey man. This is what God said. God said I need some help here. I need some people to serve me. And so God said I want you to go out. Amen. According to verse number three chapter number six wherefore brethren some of y'all are breathing easy. You surprise God. He didn't point that thing at me. Hey man look at verse number three wherefore brethren look you out among your seven men of honest report. Listen full. of the Holy Ghost. Amen. I'm going to preach about Stephen for just a few minutes. Amen. It probably won't take me more than two hours. Amen. We're looking at verse number three, and it says he was full of the Holy Ghost, full. Amen. If he had had a gauge on his head, amen, it would have been ringing plum over here. And you say, well, he was something extra. He was something supernatural. He was out of the ordinary. There wasn't nobody else like him. They found six more like him. One of them was Philip. Amen. He is full of the Holy Ghost. They named all some others. They is full of the Holy Ghost. Amen. You can be full of the Holy Ghost. And sure enough, amen, don't get nervous about being full of God. He's not going to make you flop around. He's not going to make you ladies flop around and your dress come up over your head. And he's not going to make you foam at the mouth. Amen. He's not going to embarrass you in front of everybody. Amen. Amen. These men got full of the Holy Ghost. Amen, and everything they'd done was decently and in order. So let's look at him for just a minute. Amen, he was full of the Holy Ghost. Now he didn't stop there. If you're full of the Holy Ghost, there's an and. Amen. Some of y'all are old enough to remember this. That word and there is a conjunction. Some of y'all are old enough to remember this. Conjunction, junction, what's your function? Hooking up phrases and clauses and making them run right. Conjunction, junction, what's your function? Now some of y'all remember that, amen, because you're old enough you didn't have but three stations on TV back then, amen, and two of them was the same thing. Hey man, you had three, and nine, and 12. Hey man, y'all remember that? And so on Saturday morning, you was up early because Bugs Bunny was coming on, and Coyote was coming on, and the Road Runner. And you, man, you was so excited. You got up two hours before anything started happening, because you was gonna watch Bugs Bunny do it again. They didn't have it about five shows, and you just played them over and over. But every commercial was, conjunction, conjunction, what's your function? And I promise you it's been 45, 50, 60, 50 years ago. And I can still sing the whole thing. It's embedded in me. Now what that means is there's more, hey man, there's more cars on this train than just one. So there's another car on this train. And sure enough, amen, God said, I want you to find somebody. And they found seven men that were honest. Praise God, that's something, ain't it? And they were full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. Now, I'm going to tell you something. If you want to be full of the Holy Ghost, you need to be full of wisdom. I'm going to say it again, because I make sure you get this now. And I'm preaching to everybody. I'm preaching to this guy right back here in the back with the gray coat on. Amen. Amen. How did you get to keep your hair? That's what I want to know. Amen. If you're full of the Holy Ghost, you're full of the Bible, full of wisdom. Where'd you get the wisdom from? Well, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but that's just the beginning. That's where you start at. Amen. If you want to be full of the Holy Ghost of God, amen, get full of this. I mean, you're talking about... I go to churches, and every year, same people coming down the altar, and they're all tore up. Can I talk to you after the service? We sit till 2 or 3, 4 o'clock in the morning sometimes. I'm in doubt, and I'm wondering. I'll ask them, how much of the Bible have you read in the last week? See, faith cometh by hearing. Hearing by the Word of God. Amen. But if all you're chewing on, all you're eating on, all you're getting, amen, is Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night, or Sunday morning, Sunday night, amen, and Thursday night, amen, no wonder you're doubting. No wonder you're so skinny. Amen. You need to eat. Amen. And you know what you ought to be doing? You ought to be eating at the house. Turn off your phone, turn off the TV, amen. Get your Bible out, amen. Get your whole family around with you, amen. You say, well, we do that at Christmas. You're supposed to be doing it more than just at Christmas time. full of the Holy Ghost, and if you're full of the Holy Ghost, amen, God will fill you up with wisdom. He'll give you such a desire for the Word of God that nothing else is important, amen. I've got a lot of points here, amen. I feel like a porcupine, amen, so I'm going to do my best, amen, to try to speed it up just a little bit. He was not only full of the Holy Ghost, but he was full of wisdom. Look at verse number 10 with me. The Bible says, and they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake, amen. as Stephen began to preach or began to talk, they could not deny that this man, something's unusual about this man, something different about him. Hey, man, I'll tell you what it was. He is full of the Holy Ghost. Hey, man, he is full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. And they couldn't resist it. They couldn't debate with him. Hey, man, because when he said it, hey, man, he is so full of God, they knew it was right. Full. Full. I looked up that word wisdom and it means godly intelligence. Amen. You want to be a Christian? Be full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. He was full of the Holy Ghost and full of wisdom, but he was also full of faith. Look at verse number five. It says here, and the same pleased the whole multitude, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith. Again, you've got to read your Bible if you want to be full of faith. You know what I do, and I'm just going to tell you what I do. As I'm driving along, if you go out there and get in my truck, you're going to find CDs of preaching. CDs of good godly Christian music. Hey, man, you're going to find a thumb drive with old Billy Mitchell's on it this time. I've got different ones. I stuck Billy Mitchell. Did you ever hear of Billy Mitchell? Billy Mitchell, I mean, tell you what, I stuck him. He's got 32 messages on there. Hey, man, I listen to it all the way over here, and I listen to it all the way back. Amen, I've got CDs I can stick in there or thumb drives that'll read the Bible to me. Amen, instead of listening to some silly something, amen, a bunch of arguing and fussing, amen, or public radio and a bunch of gay this and that, hey, I'm listening to the Word of God. Amen, I'm listening to a preacher preach the Word of God, amen, and it fills me with faith. You know what you ought to do? You ought to tune yourself in on faith. Faith. Now I'm gonna be honest with you, Mason, when I first got saved, amen, I wanted to read the Bible. And I looked at this and I thought, there is no way. I couldn't read that in two lifetimes. Amen, y'all listen, did you see how thick that is right there? Oh my goodness. Amen. But let me let me see where it is for you for just a second. Amen. I said this over it over it at Morningstar the other day. I talked about our Bible. If you'll look at me for just a second. Amen. God give us this whole thing. This whole thing. Amen is is for us. We can look at it. Amen. But not all of it is to us. Amen. When I go to the mailbox, there'll be mail in my mailbox and I'll get it out. Amen. Some of it's not specifically for me or to me. It is to Linda. It'll have Linda's name wrote on it. Amen. And then about every other week, I get my neighbor's mail in my mailbox. And that gives me an opportunity to go up there, amen, hand it to him, and then invite him to church. I believe it's God's perfect will. Amen. But, amen, this whole Bible, though I need to read it all, but I want you to know something. Amen, you can break this thing down and it not be so large and intimidating. I want to show you something real quickly, amen. When you think about the Old Testament, this is the Old Testament in my Bible. It's about half, a little bit more than half, amen, of my whole entire Bible, brother, brother Rachander, is the Old Testament, amen. Sure enough, you've got to know about the Old Testament if you're going to understand the New Testament because, amen, it's going to mention people like David and Abraham and and all that kind of stuff, you ain't gonna know who they're talking about unless you know this over here. Amen. But if I'm gonna focus on some things, amen, I'm gonna really get where it's at for me, Mason, amen, that I'm gonna take this right here and I'm gonna say, okay, God, amen, this is the Old Testament. And then I've got, in my Bible, I've got Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Now these books right here, amen, are the books telling us that the Lord Jesus, amen, is on the earth. Amen. He's on the earth right here on this one. Amen. Somebody tell me if he's still walking around healing people on the earth right now. Is he doing it, Caleb? No, not right now. Where is he at? He's seated at the right hand throne of God making intercession for you. He prayed for you today. He did. He prayed for you today. You say, how did you know? He said he's praying for us. So this part right here is Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. So then I look at this Old Testament and I pitch over that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And then there's a book called the Acts of the Apostles. Y'all hang in here with me for a minute. I'm going to do something that might change your life. Here's the book of Acts. This is not our Acts. And this is not talking about a handle with a sharp object on the end of it. Amen. It's talking about what the apostles did. Amen. If you'll look at the title of it, it is the Acts of the Apostles. Amen. This is the Acts of the Apostles. Amen. This is the Gospels. That's the Old Testament. The Gospels is telling us that he was walking on the earth. Amen. The book of Acts is telling us that he left. Amen. And when he left, amen, he did supernatural things, amen, in the book of Acts, amen, and that was so that the people could could hear and know those men were telling the truth. They had supernatural powers, amen, and they're gone now. I believe since I've been here, amen, talking about prophets, amen. So those are the acts of the apostles. So I've got the Old Testament, I've got the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and then I've got the book of Acts. And then if I go over here to the back of my Bible, amen, I'm gonna show the preacher right here, amen, he's gonna say amen that I'm doing it right, so you'll know. All of this part right here in my Bible, amen, is the book of Revelation, amen, we're gonna be gone, biggest part of that, amen. I'm leaving in chapter four, me and you both are, amen. Then we're gonna go get our horses, we're gonna mount up, amen. We're gonna come back in 19, a bunch of that, we ain't even gonna be there. And then I got some study help, amen, cause this is a study Bible, amen. So now I've zoomed it all the way down, amen, all the way down to right here. Amen. Preacher, I'm starting in Romans, and I'm reading through Jude. And that's, that's that much. It's that much, Mason. Now this right here, amen, this is written for you. It's to you. This is what we're supposed to do. This is called the church epistles. It's got pastoral epistles in it too. We need to read that. Amen. But this part right here, how thick do you think that is right there? Okay, let me ask somebody else. Dustin, how thick do you think that is right there? Quarter inch. You think that's a quarter of an inch? Close. You think that's a quarter? I'm gonna ask the pastor. What do you think that is? Maybe. Does anybody in here know how to read ruler? Brother Myles? Amen. What would you think that is? What do you think, Austin? Do you think that's a sixteenth or maybe? Maybe it might be an eighth. Maybe. what i'm trying to tell you is and i'm very much is it about brother you what do you think you think i think you think it is right there and i think it is what you'd like to go back here with all this hair that's right that's what you think eight do you think you could read that that much better in a month, a whole month. Oh yeah, yeah, that'd be easy. You think you could read that in a month? See, everything that God has specifically and especially for you. Now, I'm not telling you not to read any of the other. But I'm telling you, what God has for you can be all summed up right there. And you know, this is a study Bible, and it's got a bunch of notes. And I can show you some pages. It ain't got very much Bible on it, and the majority of it's notes. As a matter of fact, I could probably take a third of that off from there, and it's only that much. Austin, do you think you could read that in a month? Do you think you could read that right there in a month? You know what you ought to do? I challenge you. You are challenged. I challenge you to read from the book of Romans through the book of Jude and finish up Jude. Do it in 30 days. I challenge you to do it. years ago, amen, I decided I was going to read through those books, amen, this is because I ate well ago, amen, those books, I'm having to eat again, it ain't as good the second time, amen, I would read through that every 30 days, but you know what I did? I got so excited when I started with Romans, couldn't set her down, amen, and so sure enough, I read through it in about five days, and I thought, oh my, and so I just started back again, and I said, hey, this is going to be too busy, so I said, I'm just going to read it three times in a month, And I've been doing that for years. And I've got Bibles, I can bring them, show them to you. Amen. Where that section has become a loose leaf, Schofield. I'm talking about it just falling off the book. Amen. If you want to be full of the Holy Ghost, you need to be full of the Bible. full of the Bible. So let me tell you what happened just the other day, Brother Moss. I was preaching and meeting, and I did exactly what I just did there, only it was different people. And there was a woman over there, and she said, this was on probably about a Tuesday, and on Thursday night, she come down and got saved. grown adult lady. And she stood up and she said, I took that challenge the preacher said the other day. And she said, I started reading Romans when I got home. She said, I started reading Romans. And the next day she said, I was reading through Romans and I got to chapter number five. And she said, and God said, you are lost. And she come down and got saved. Isn't that wonderful? Amen. Amen. It's important that you're full of the Holy Ghost. Hey, are you full of the Holy Ghost? Amen. If you are full of the Holy Ghost, you're full of wisdom and you're full of faith. Amen. And look what it says. Amen. We'll go to verse number eight. The Bible says in Stephen, full of faith and power. and power. Now, I'm going to be honest with you, I do not have the power that Stephen had. Stephen had the ability to do miraculous things. Philip, amen, which was with him, amen. Philip, amen, was healing people, amen. You remember when Philip, amen, was told by the Holy Spirit of God to go out into that desert, amen. And sure enough, he obeyed God and went out into that desert. And sure enough, here come that Ethiopian eunuch, My, my, my. Philip was down there in a great revival. I mean, he was healing people. God was moving. And God said, go out into the desert. And sure enough, he did. Hey, man, here comes this Ethiopian eunuch. He's reading Isaiah 53. And sure enough, he says, do you understand what you're reading? And he said, how can I, except some man should guide me. And he jumps up into the chariot, amen, and preaches to him, and he gets gloriously, wonderfully, awesomely, miraculously, tremendously saved. Amen, they found some water in the desert, praise God, and pull over, and he gets baptized, woo, glory to God, and then boom, he was gone. Amen, God, use them supernatural. You'd be a soul winner if you're full of Holy Ghost. Do you know God's going to reward you for being full of the Holy Ghost and winning souls? Let me tell you something interesting. When we get to the judgment seat of Christ, say, born again, God's going to reward us for things that we've done in our body. According to the Bible, it says you're going to gain a reward or you're going to suffer loss. So we're going to stand before God. We're not being judged to see if we're saved. We're standing before God at the judgment seat. We're saved, no doubt about it. We're born again. We're saved as the Apostle Paul. But God is going to distribute crowns for those that have suffered with Him. And if we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him. during that 1,000-year millennial period. Amen, Brother Miles is going to say amen to this. Amen, God. Amen is going to reward us during that seven years while all that tribulation is going on down here. Amen, we're up there. Amen, and God. Amen is rewarding us. Amen, and giving crowns out to those that served Him while they were alive. Amen, and sure enough, amen, you got this opportunity, amen, to serve with Him during the 1,000-year millennial reign. I don't know if after the thousand-year millennial reign, if you're done with Ukraine and certain of them, some of them I believe you may be able, but after a while, I don't know that. But I know this, the Bible says, he that winneth souls is wise. And he said, and they shall shine as the firmament. For how long? Forever and ever. Forever. You win souls, you'll shine in front of God, in front of the say born again people, you'll shine because you won souls to God. Amen. He was full of the Holy Ghost. He was full of wisdom. He was full of faith. He was full of the power of God. Amen. Look at verse number 15. He was full of the glow of God. And all that sat in the council looking steadfastly on him saw his face as it had been the face of an angel. Amen. Stephen is glowing for God. And you said, preacher, God don't do that no more. Amen. Not too long ago, a few years ago, amen, I was preaching over in Concord. Amen. For Ronnie Simpson. Amen. They were bringing their choir up. Amen, sure enough, as they was bringing up the choir, a lady walked by, amen, and grabbed Linda and said, you come up and sing with us in the choir? Amen, and they talked her into it. Linda went up in the choir. I was sitting there, amen, there was somebody behind me, somebody in front of me, and she got up there, and I mean it, got on, and Linda got to shouting and praising God, and she got to glowing, and I saw it. She was glowing. And sure enough, I heard somebody in front of me, and they said, Sister Frazier is glowing. And I thought, they can see it. I'm serious, I'm not making this up, brother. I said, they can see it. And the woman behind me, she reached up and patted me on the shoulder, and I turned around and looked at her, and she had the funniest look on her face, and she said, your wife is glowing. It wasn't just me that could see her full of God. I was looking through the congregation, and they was all going, look, look, look. They was all pointing. Linda had no idea. She's up there. She's looking through the sheet rock and the insulation. She done looking through the ply board on the roof. I don't know if he had shingles or tin, but she went plum on through that. Amen. She done went past all the planets and the stars. She looking at God. Amen. Jesus is looking over the balcony, and he'll say, sing, Linda, sing. And man, she was singing it. Wow, she is in another world, amen. She didn't have any idea. Full. If she'd had a gauge on it, it'd have been over here going... It'd have been bending the needle on it. full of the glow of God. Look at chapter number seven, I'm almost done, can you believe that? Chapter number seven, look at verse number two. And he said, men, brethren, and fathers, hearken, the God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia. Amen, and he goes and he begins to preach. Amen, I see he's full of the word of God. He goes from verse number two, ain't you glad I'm not gonna preach it all the way down to verse number 53? Figured somebody would shout it over. He preached from verse number 2 to verse number 53. Power of God on him. Amen. He was full of the Word of God. Amen. He was full of the sight of God. Look at verse number 55. Amen. I'm moving along now. Amen. Verse number 55, chapter number 7. But he being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. Amen. When you're full of God, you can see things that others can't see. I'm just going to be honest with you, when you're full of God, you can see things that others can't see. Everybody else has got their eyes have been blinded out. I've already said it this week, I'm going to say it again, amen. There's a place over in the Bible and he's talking about the churches and he's fixing to come and get us, amen, and he's told us, amen, to anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, amen. They say in those days they had real bad sandstorms. Hey man, big balls, I mean big walls of sand would come across and blow in through the city. And if you were out there and your eyes wasn't protected, if you didn't have something over your eyes, you'd get that dust in your eyes, that sand in your eyes, and your eyes would be blurry, and they'd get all mattered up, and they'd swell up, swell shut. Because you had all that in there. But you could anoint your eyes with eye salve. And then you could wrench them out and wipe it out. And that salve would hold on to those grains of sand. And you could wipe it out and you could see clearly again. God is saying that to us. Amen. He's saying that to this church. He's saying it to our church. Back in Dayton, He's saying it to your church. He said, hey, I'm fixing to come and get you, and if you're not careful now, hey man, you'll be lukewarm. Hey man, you'll have need of nothing, including even, hey, needing me like you should. Hey man, and he'll say, hey, you need to clear your eyes and get your focus back on me. Amen. full, full of the sight of God. Amen. He looked up and he saw. Amen. Verse number 59, he was full of the prayers to God. Amen. And they stoned Stephen calling upon God. Stephen was calling upon God and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Amen. He's talking to God. Amen. He has a relationship with God. Amen. His fellowship is perfect between him and God. Amen. Let me tell you something about being saved. Now, you're looking at a preacher who believes God's the one that does the saving. I believe, amen, you can like this term or not, but I believe once you're saved, amen, you're saved. Amen, you say once saved, always saved. I don't like that. Well, I do like that. Amen, once I got saved, amen, I'm always saved. I'm always going to be saved. But I'm going to be honest with you. The Bible talks about fellowship. First John makes it real clear. Amen, they're writing those things that your fellowship may be what? Full. Full, not empty, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. No, your fellowship can be full. Amen, if you're full of Holy Ghost, amen, you're full of fellowship. Not only with the brethren, not only with the preacher, amen, but if you're full of Holy Ghost, amen, you've got full fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Full fellowship. So while they were stoning him to death, amen, and he's dying. He called out to God. And God, the Lord Jesus, amen, that was sitting down, stood up. Amen. Fellowship. Full, full fellowship. Amen. God is so focused on Stephen, he stands up, amen, and looks out over the balcony, the Lord Jesus did. Amen. Look at that. Everybody gather around up here. Look over here. Look down there at Stephen. All the angels, he might have said, all you angels quiet down up here. Come over here and look over here. Amen. And they glanced over the edge of the balconies of heaven. And those angels went, wow. One of them angels said, man, he's glowing, ain't he? Amen. All them angels said, I can hear what he's saying. Amen. He's got fellowship with our Lord. Amen. Full of the Holy Ghost, full of wisdom, full of faith, full of power, full of the glow of God, full of the Word of God, full of the sight of God, full of the prayers to God. Amen. And listen to this, verse number 60. And this one, this is worthy to be preached on for another 45 minutes right here. And he kneeling down, amen, he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. If you're full of the Holy Ghost, you're full of forgiveness. You're full of forgiveness. Boy, I go from church to church preaching. I'm not gonna name the church, but I went to a church a while back, and the pastor said, brother, there's a guy on this side over here, and he won't talk to the guy on this side over here. It was like Hatfields and the McCoys, and it wasn't a dinner show. This guy was so mad at this guy over here that he wouldn't even shake hands, he wouldn't go over and talk to him, and this guy over here was so mad at him that he wouldn't come over there when they'd say, everybody go over here and fellowship back and forth. They didn't want anything to do with each other. How many of y'all think God really moved in that church? No. The pastor said, I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to be here. He said, they quench the Holy Ghost. Every time I walk in here, the Holy Spirit of God is so grieved. He said, I'm wondering if I got Ichabod wrote on the door. He said, this man won't talk to this man. And I said, well, what did he do to him? He said, they don't even know. He said, I came here, and they were that way when I come here. And he said, I sat down with one of them, and I sat down with the other one, and they don't even remember what it was about. All they know is is that they hate each other. Are y'all listening to me? And they don't want to have nothing to do with each other. They can't forgive each other. And don't even remember what it was about, Brother Miles. And I said, well, I don't even know if I want to be here either. So I just got up and I sawed it down. Man, I mean, I preached. I mean, I preached like I was mad. I purported out. I mean, I said, hey, I'm leaving anyway. I'm going to go back home where God's at. Are y'all listening? Amen. I'll go preach for Terry Deets, amen. Praise God. So I just got up and I preached on, amen, quenching, grieving the Holy Spirit of God. Man, I was preaching, sawing it down. And one of them over here broke. And he stood up and started crying. And he said, I got to tell, and this man was a preacher over here. You think a preacher could be so bitter? Are y'all listening? And he got up, went over, and hugged him. And once he hugged him, man, they started crying, and they was hugging on each other. And a little girl, a little teenage girl sitting about where Katie's at, she stood up, and she said, she said, I don't know what I've done to all you girls, but she said, I'm so sorry. She said, y'all won't even talk to me. There's a whole two rows sitting over here of teenage girls. She was sitting over here by herself. Somehow, some way, they'd done something. They didn't like what she did, or maybe she had a nicer dress than they did, or maybe something. And they decided not to fellowship with her. She stood up and started crying. One of those girls broke and went over yonder and hugged her. And before she could get all the way over there, here come the whole band of them. They all gathered around, amen. I hadn't been preaching but about 15 minutes, amen. And I stepped back and the pastor got up, amen. A man got up from this corner right here, ran all the way back there to the back where that guy was back there with that nice suit, amen. And throwed his arms around the guy back there and said, I'm so sorry. And I could hear him saying, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. You want to know what happened? They got full. I was watching them as it was bubbling over. See, in my truck, if you put that handle in there, it'll get to gurgling at you when it gets close to being full. And I can look over here and see that guy. And I was screaming it out. I'll be honest with you, I might have been in flesh a little bit. I was ready to go home anyway. I ain't gonna spend a week, I'll wake up yonder, and a bunch of people don't want God. And I was blowing it out, and I said to him, I said, unto God, some of y'all won't even go across the room to shake hands with your brother. I mean, what's the matter with you? You in here grieving the Holy Spirit, ghost of God, God probably got a kebab road on the door, amen, I'm just blowing it out like crazy, amen, and I looked over at him, and I could see him gurgling. He'd done filled up, and it was running out of his eyeballs. It was running down the side of his face, dripping off his chin, he got the quiver, And I didn't have to give him an invitation or nothing. He got up and he went across. And I looked at this guy over here as he was going across there and he was still, but he couldn't help it when he got over there. He said, I'm so sorry. He said, it's all my fault. And they grabbed each other and he said, no, it ain't all your fault, it's my fault. And they got in a fuss over whose fault it was. And the preacher told me, he says, it's probably the greatest revival I've ever been in. There wasn't people down here getting saved. There was people getting right. They were full. Stephen was full. You know what God said? God said, and he didn't ask you. He told you this. He said, be not drunk with wine where it's excess, but be filled with the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit. Would you be honest with me tonight? I'm done. Would you be honest with me? Are you full of the Holy Spirit of God? Are you full? I'm not asking you if you're half full. I'm not asking you if you're a quarter of the tank. Are you full? If you're not full of the Holy Ghost, then you're not doing what God said. You say, preacher, can you be full of the Holy Ghost all the time? If you keep coming to the filling station, you can. Amen, we called it topping it off. Well, I'm fixing the head out. I'm gonna go all the way over here to Kannapolis, North Carolina. Amen, I'm gonna drop over here and I'm gonna top it off. Amen, my wife says, well, you got three quarters of a tank. I said, yeah, but I don't wanna have to stop. Amen, so I'm gonna top it off. I wonder. I wonder tonight if there's anybody in here, you'd be honest. You don't have to be honest with me, be honest with God. I'm not full of God. I'm not full of the Holy Spirit, God. I know what it's like to be full of the Holy Spirit. I know what it's like to have a burden for sinners. I know what
