I Will Pour Out My Spirit

In these verses we encounter one of the most important days in redemptive history – the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the ingathering of repentant sinners on the day of Pentecost. His sustaining grace for your weakness, His comfort in sorrows, His peace in turmoil and His truth in uncertainty. It is all accomplished in this event.

I want us to see how relevant this is for us at this moment in our history as Americans – and for our upcoming study in the book of Revelation. We are living in a time of uncertainty. Freedoms in America are being challenged in ways we have never seen before. With things like this happening in America, it is easy to lose historical perspective concerning the history of Christianity and how Christians make their way.
