God's precious promises

God has given us many exceedingly great and precious promises, resting on which we are able to press toward glory, being conformed to the image of his Son. They are great and precious because of their beauty and glory, their clarity and certainty, their variety and unity, their suitability and sufficiency, and their genuine utility.
