With Reverence and Awe

It seems that if we were to try it quantity, or classify or described the age in which we live there is no better description than this - we live among a people who regard nothing as sacred, nothing as holy, nothing as dwelling, governing or existing higher than oneself. This is a sentiment that is be rejected wholesale by the Christian, even as we are called, to know, believe and trust in the Holy One of Israel, the God of fire and glory, who dwells in inexhaustible light and longs to be worshipped and adored, not as an object in a love song, but as the Sovereign of heaven and earth, the Creator, the Redeemer and Sustainers of all things. How then are we to revere the Name of God, in all things?
