Pharisees and Sadducees Question the Messiah

During the beginning of the passion week our Lord aroused the ire of His enemies by the very public triumphal entry, by the violent cleansing of the Temple, and by a series of parables that were meant to rebuke them for their murderous envy. In Matthew 22 we find the Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees, and the scribes attacking Him, hoping to discredit Him. In this message, we explore the first of these two trials as Jesus faces first the Pharisees' disciples & Herodians, and then the theologically liberal Sadducees. By the time the dust settles, no one would dare ask Him any more questions!
