Peace or misery

Everyone wants peace in their life, home, and heart. Peace is what we need in the midst of the storm; when all seems lost. This kind of peace is what God offers us. The quietness that comes even though the battle rages all around. When we have our feet covered properly we can truly walk in peace. But without peace we have misery. The enemy can't steal our salvation but he can mess with our stability. Without peace anything that comes along will push us around, bend us our of shape. These shoes help us to spread the good news. If we don't have them we only sow misery. In the here and now peace is possible; we must ask for it from our heavenly Father. Misery however is more than willing to fill in where we don't let God's peace flow freely. Which would we rather have peace or misery?
