Let's all stand, grab a red hymnal,
turn to page 76. Page 76. He spoke to me when I was low
and still on my feet. He said he'd give his life to
set me free. When I heard his voice Jesus
spoke to me He gave his life to set me free. He just spoke to me. He just
spoke to me. I was blind, but now I see. I'm
glad I'll hurt myself. I believe we'll be who Jesus
wants to be. Father, thank you so much, Lord,
that you spoke to me one night as a 15-year-old boy, Lord. God,
you changed my life forever by your power and by your grace.
Thank you for that, Lord. God, we come again to another
week and another meeting. God, I pray it would be more
than just that. God, please meet with us this week. God, I pray,
God, that those we've invited would come. We compel him to
come in, Lord, that your house might be filled. Lord, draw him,
God, to Jesus. Lord, you said if I be lifted
up, I will draw him in unto you, Lord. And I know you was talking
about Calvary, Lord, but surely, God, if we lift you up, you will
draw him to you. God, I pray we'll do that tonight, God, and
that you'll draw him to you. Save souls and change lives.
Help us sing, Lord. Brother, praise your praise in
Jesus' name, amen. Amen. God is worthy, worthy of
praise, worthy of glory, so I'll bless His name. And His mercies are new every
day. With all of my heart, soul, and
strength I will say, God is worthy, worthy of praise, I will say, God is worthy. God is worthy, worthy of praise,
worthy of glory. So I'll bless His name and His
mercies are new every day. With all of my heart, soul, and
strength I will say, God is worthy, worthy of praise. Every day Yes, he is. Amen. Yes, thank
God. Our students, ladies from the
Chesapeake Rocks, take away pilgrims, drive Christians away. Jesus is coming soon, born of
our Lord, new. Many will bid their due. Drums will still be your happy
forever. coming soon, morning or night
or noon. Many will be there due. Prophets will surely sound. All
of the day in Christ shall rise, Christ's feet in the sky. Nowhere, nowhere, no one dies. Heaven, we're bound. I still remember who I used to
be when this heart cried out to be free. I was desperate,
a failure in need of a Savior. I still remember the moment,
the time, when I finally surrendered my life. I was broken and ran into arms
wide open. Oh, what a difference he's made
in me. The moment His mercy found me,
found me. Now every sin has been trained
for grace. The blood came and washed away
every strain. And I'll testify over and over
again how lost I was, how saved I am. Amen. Maybe you're thinking you're
too far gone. You can't get to the cross from
the road that you're on. But he'll find you right there. Trust me, I've been there. Oh, what a difference he's made
in me. Because of the blood, I'm forgiven
and free. Everything changed along with
his mercy found. I'm praising my Savior all the
day long. This is my story. This is my song. Oh, what a difference He's made
in me. Good cause of the one, I'm forgiven
and free. Everything changed the moment
this mercy died. And I'll testify over and over
again. Over and over again. How lost
I was, how saved I am. Hey! Hey! Hey! you you What's good to be saved tonight?
That Jesus makes a difference to you, man. That's right. No
change, no conversion. Gave me Jesus, stop being changed. What a difference He made in
my life. Got saved when I was 18 years
old. October the 28th, 1982, about
10 minutes after 8, on the right hand side of the aisle. I got
lost that night. You can't get saved if you get
lost. You ever been lost? Boy, I have. I have. Lost without
God. And I'm glad the Lord drew me
and worked on me. Put me under conviction. Amen. It's more than just saying a
prayer. That's right. Amen. I still believe
in the work of the Holy Ghost, amen. The new birth's got a process,
amen. It's a process to the new birth,
amen. Amen. It's not just repeat after me,
one, two, three, and you say it. Amen, amen. Thank God he's
still in the saving business. Still saving souls, ain't he,
Brother Frasier? Still saving souls, amen. So it's good to
be saved tonight. Appreciate the good singing by
the choir. Got Brother Frasier with us this week, the Lord willing.
And we hate Miss Linda couldn't come, but she's sitting with
the ladies, so we need to pray for her and pray for his church. She told me a minute ago that
his choir director's got cancer, so we need to pray for that dear
ma'am. And pray for Brother Frasier.
And let's pray for him physically. He's been going all year long.
He said he's up to about 100 people getting saved this year.
Ain't that great? I praise God for that, amen. I give God the
glory for it. I know he gives God the glory
for it, amen. Praise God he's still in the
saving business, amen. I hope some people get saved
this way, amen. That's right. Amen. So let's
get some folk here if you can. Get them here. Get them out of
the gospel. There's power in the gospel, amen. There's power
in the word of God, amen. It's still got the power to get
the job done, amen. That's right. And so let's pray
that God's will be done. We need revival, need a stirring
in our own hearts. I'm praying the Lord would just
come by this week and blow on them ambers that he started back
in 2021. We still feeling the breeze, still feeling the breeze
from that. And we want to keep it going, amen. Keep it blowing,
amen. The Lord just blow on us, amen,
stir us up. And so let's just get excited
about Jesus, amen. That's right. I wanna be a lover
of God more than I am a lover of pleasure. The Bible said in
the last days there'd be men lovers of pleasure more than
lovers of God. And so I don't wanna be that
way. I wanna love God more than anything.
That's right, amen. Sometimes we just gotta get our
focus reset. Amen, realize why we're here,
what we're here for, amen. We got a purpose, amen. That's
right, hallelujah. We're gonna have our ushers to
cut and we're gonna receive our offering this week and we've
been doing this for several years now So let me explain what we're
doing church gonna take care of brother Fraser We got we got
money to give him for preaching for us He's got a print ministry
the Victor Baptist Church print ministry and he puts out Thousands
and thousands and thousands, probably millions of pieces of
literature every year. And so everything we give this
week in the offering is gonna go toward the print ministry.
And it's been our goal to try to get at least 1,000. I wish
we could get 5,000. Whatever God wants us to give,
we're gonna give to the print ministry and be a blessing to
them and help for that. And I know Brother Frazier appreciates
that. We wanna have a hand in that, amen? And I'm a real believer
in the track ministry. Amen, I really am. You say why?
Because somebody had me in track one day. And he said, sir, if
you was to die right now, are you 100% for sure that you'd
go to heaven? And I said yes with my mouth.
But when I took the track, the Holy Spirit in my heart said
no. My heart condemned me that day. Just a simple little gesture
like that. So you say, hey, it works. And
from then on, the Lord used that and began to work in my heart
and began to deal with my heart. And I was hanging on to a couple
professions, but I just hadn't got saved that day. And thank
God, Lord took that, and from then on, next little while, boy,
I got in bad shape, amen. Thank God for it, amen. And so
I got saved. Probably because somebody handed
me a track. Probably. Amen. So put them out, amen.
Put them out, amen. All right. So that's what we're
taking up the offering for this week. It's a gift to it, and
we're going to trust the Lord to give us a good offering for
that, okay? Brother Dustin, if you don't mind, would you pray
over the offering tonight? Yes. Let's all stand, grab a red hymn,
we'll turn to page 224. Page 224. See. Sing, sing. That's right. Yes. That's right. You've been my life for so long. You arrived when I was wrong. I can't repay all the love you've
given me. You were my friend. But you were there. Lord, you're
the best thing that ever happened. your sword, take my life, make
it what you have it be. I'm your child and you're my
father. I'm the clay and you're the potter. You're the best thing that ever
happened to me. Borrow treasures, borrow dreams,
all life's joys you've given me. When things go wrong, you're
always there to make me smile. Let come what may, that will
be done. Jesus, God's only son. Lord, you're the best thing that
ever happened to me. And I owe it all to you. Take my life, make it what you
have it be. I'm your child and you're my
father. I'm the clay and you're the bottom. You're the best thing that ever
happened to me. I'm your child and you're my
father. I'm the clay and you're the bottom. You're the best thing that ever
happened to me. He promised us that he would
be and our prince of peace. He promised us that he would
be a father and would love us with a love that would not cease. Well, I've tried His promises
are true. He's everything He said that
He would be. The finest words I know could
not begin to tell just what Jesus really means to me. He's more wonderful than my mind
can conceive. He's more wonderful than my heart
can believe. He goes beyond my highest hope
and fondest dreams. Everything is promised and so
much more. More than amazing, more than
marvelous, more than miraculous. He's more than wonderful. That's what Jesus is to me. I stand amazed to thank the King
of Glory. would come to live within the
heart of man. I marvel just to know He really
loves me. can conceive. He's more wonderful than my heart

and fondest dreams. He's everything. Everything He's promised and

Everything He's promised and so much more More than amazing
More than marvelous More than miraculous Could ever be He's
more than wonderful. That's what Jesus is to me. Yes, sir. He's walked me through. So when he got to my attention
and showed me, I wondered. I'm gracious. I'm gracious. God was. I'm telling you, I'm
still amazed. I've been six years now. And I'm still amazed. Day to
day. Yes, amen. I just won't. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Tell it. I thought, like I said,
he was just somebody that set up new orders. Thou shalt not,
thou shalt do this, thou shalt do that. Don't do this. But I found out, Josh, it's just
love and to say yes. Yes. I would walk out there and do
something that he would disagree with. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. He's more than wonderful. He's more than awesome. We can't really describe him.
He's so wonderful. It's good to be saved. All right,
appreciate that good testimonies. Yeah. Is that a birthday? Yep. Yes. Hey, man. Yes. Amen. Yes. Amen. Oh, yes. Yes, sir. Well, don't
get too excited. Amen. We're just going to heaven.
We just missed hell. Amen. Don't get too excited about
that now. Right. Amen. Amen. Amen. That's right. Praise God. That's right. All right. Everybody
good? Amen. I want the Holy Spirit
to have His way. Amen. Amen. I want the Holy Spirit
to have His way. That's right, amen. I appreciate
this precious dear man of God. Our Temple Baptist Church loves
Brother Frasier. Don't say anything negative to
us about Brother Frasier. We wouldn't stand for it one
second. So we love him with all of our
heart. Thank God for him. I'm so glad God's used him to
help our church. Many, many years, amen. and so
I appreciate him and so much and thank God for him and God
using him. I appreciate his preaching. I
appreciate the message he carries. Amen. I don't believe there's
nothing I'd change about Brother Frazier. I love him just like
he is, amen. So he's got perfect liberty here
in this pulpit. Perfect liberty to do what he
feels like he needs to do by the Holy Ghost. He's got perfect
liberty. I got perfect liberty. as a pastor. I got perfect liberty
here as a pastor. Didn't always have it. We got
it now, amen. Had it for a good while, and
we're gonna keep it, amen, by the grace and help of God. I
love perfect liberty in the pulpit. I got perfect liberty to pastor
the church, amen. I appreciate the folks at Temple
Baptist Church that give me that liberty. Somebody said with great power
comes great responsibility, and that's true, amen. We are mindful
of that tonight. And so I'm going to get Brother
Frazier up here. He's going to obey the Lord.
Amen. And I appreciate him being sensitive to the Holy Spirit
and obeying the Holy Spirit. So Preacher, you come. Amen. God bless you, my dear brother.
Amen. Well, let me say this. I know
there's some that are wondering where Linda's at. And she's sitting
with a lady that is passing away. And even today, she called me
just before I came over here and said that she was taking
her last breaths and they couldn't even get a blood pressure. on
her today. She's 89 years old, a Christian
lady, been with us for 20 years. Linda made a promise to her several
years ago that she would be there with her when she passed away. She'd be there to help her, and
she didn't have anybody to be there for her. And so Linda's
doing what she promised that she would do. And it's not an
easy job to clean up someone and so forth, but that's what
Linda's doing. And I appreciate her for that,
don't you? Amen, that's a blessing. She
would love to be here. I mean, tears in her eyes as
I was leaving, because she said, I'd love to, you tell everybody
over there, I'd love to be there, but I just can't be. And I know
you understand that. Amen. All right, let's get our
Bibles tonight. And again, I want to be thankful tonight for what
the Lord has done this year. It has been amazing. We've been
very busy this year, meeting after meeting, just back to back
in most cases. And we've seen so many get saved
this year. It's just been wonderful. Just
Thursday night, I was down in the Atlanta area, and a 15-year-old
girl got gloriously saved. It was wonderful. So beautiful
to see a young person get saved. We had a young lady come to our
church and she got saved. And my, my, my, how tragic her
life had been thus far. It's amazing how far somebody
can go when they're just 16 years old. Amen. But we're just so
thankful. Amen. All right, let's get our
Bibles out. 2 Chronicles chapter number 9 is where we're going
to start a reading from. And let's all stand together.
2 Chronicles chapter number 9. We're going to start in verse
number 1. And we're going to read down through verse number
12. 2 Chronicles chapter number 9. And at verse number 12, if
I was Larry Wales, I'd say in verse number one, amen, what
a great man of God Brother Wales is. Amen, I love Brother Wales,
amen. Second Chronicles, chapter number
nine, and verse number one, amen, I would scream at you and say
if you're there, amen, but y'all done heard that, amen. So if
you found your place, amen, I'll say amen then. Look what the Bible says in verse
number one. When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon,
she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem with
a very great company and camels that bear spices and gold in
abundance and precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon,
she communed with him of all that was in her heart. I'm gonna
stop my reading right there for just a minute, amen. Pray and
let y'all be seated, amen. I can tell y'all are already
getting tired. Amen. Father, we love you. Thank you
so much for letting us come and be here at this great church.
Once again, Lord, it is an honor to stand where this man of God
stands and to be in this church, Lord, where people love you,
people are real. God, I'm so thankful, Lord, that
we're not playing church, but God, this is real. And Lord,
I'm praying, God, that you'll do something supernatural this
week. I'm praying, God, that you'd stir the hearts of the
saints of God. And Lord, each night, if there
be someone that's not saved, I'm praying, God, that the Holy
Spirit of God would deal in hearts that they would be saved. Lord,
that's our heart's desire and prayer to God, Lord, is that
they'd be some to come to know you, God, and that they'd be
saved from an eternity in a lake of fire and, Lord, be brought
to you forever. God, we sure thank you and praise
you for all that you've done this year. I just stand in awe
and amazement of all the things that you've done. Looking forward
to what you're going to do this week now in Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. You can be seated.
I'm dealing here with a woman named the Queen of Sheba. Amen. I want to say something
to you. We'll find here in just a little bit that she had a change
of spirit is what these verses will tell us. And so starting
out, she must have had the wrong spirit. If she got right, if
her spirit changed, she must have started out with the wrong
spirit. Amen. In this story, we're going
to find it mentioned by our Lord and Savior Jesus in the New Testament. He's going to make a mention
of this story. He's going to make a mention of her. He's gonna
talk about her, amen. He's gonna give her some responsibilities,
amen. And he also tells us something
that's very special. We'll get to that, amen, towards
the end of the message, amen. But we see that this story is
more than just a visit from a queen to check out this king's kingdom
and get to know him a little bit and then go back home. It
is a spiritual encounter, amen, and we're gonna take a look at
that here for just a minute. If you're here tonight and you
don't know the Lord Jesus as your Savior, pay special attention
because this is a spiritual story, amen, as well as a literal, actual,
amen, encounter with the Queen of Sheba, amen, and the King
called Solomon. Amen, I wanna say to you, Considering
that, that you are, amen, before you get saved, you are the king
or the queen of your life. You'll make your decisions. You'll
sit on your throne. Amen. For 26 years, I was the
king of my life. Amen. Sure enough, I grew up
as a boy. Decisions were made for me. But
you can find kings that were very young. One was eight years
old, another maybe 12. Amen. You'll see that. was some
decisions made, but they were kings. Amen. I was king of my
life. I made my own decisions. I was
stubborn like this dear brother said. Amen. I made my own decision. Nobody going to tell me what
to do. I'm going to do what I want to. to, amen, and so therefore
I was the decision maker, amen, I was the one, amen, that chose
my, amen, direction, amen, and, amen, when I got saved now, amen,
I got off of my throne, and I allowed God the Lord Jesus to become
the king of my life, amen, in that beautiful red book, amen,
it's a psalm, page number 20, he's my king. He is my King. I don't say that to start off
tonight. Jesus is my King. Now, He's everything else, too.
He's wonderful, amen, but He is the one that guides and directs
my life. He is my King. That's what Brother
Al was trying to tell you. He was trying to tell you when
he got saved that God took over his life. He'd become his boss,
his Lord, his master, his God. Amen. A king has authority to
be able to tell you, you'll serve me or I'll kill you. Amen. That's what Brother Al said a
while ago. Amen. And Brother Al, thank God you
said, I think I'll serve him then. That's what happens when
a real king comes on the scene. Amen. We're going to take this
and dissect it. Amen. We're going to see where
the heart's at. Amen. We're going to see where the
details of the thinking of this scripture's at. We're going to
look at the mind of this lady. Amen. The heart of this lady.
Amen. The actions of this lady. Amen. Amen. Hold on with me.
Amen. Because this is going to get
real good here in just a minute. Amen. We see this woman. Sure
enough, she hears. I want you to notice the first
part of the scriptures here. It says that when the Queen of
Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with
hard questions. Somebody told her about him. Now, I don't know who it was,
and you don't know who it was, but see, she had this kingdom
herself. She's a queen, and it was a very
great kingdom, amen, because all of the things that she brought,
amen, was not all that she had, amen, but boy, she brought a
train behind her, and we're not talking about with a locomotive,
amen, 100 cars behind her, amen, but it was long. Hey man, there
were camels and there were wagons full of gold, full of precious
stones and spices, no doubt garments. Hey man, just as far as you can
see back through there as she come. But here was the problem. The problem was is when she heard
about Solomon down some 1,200 miles away from where Jerusalem
was, somebody, saw the king, amen, and he went all the way
1,200 miles away, amen, and met with the queen, amen, and told
her, amen, there's a king, amen, in Jerusalem that's greater than
you are. And she said, I don't know about that. He said,
oh yeah, his palace is bigger. His temple's bigger. Man, you
ought to see his temple. You ought to see all that he's
got. Hey man, you ought to see all the horses he's got and all
the stalls down through there. Hey man, the provisions for that
place is amazing. Hey man, all of his servants
by the thousands and ten thousands. Man, it's amazing. This king
has got more than you've got. Hey, he's more mightier than
you are. Hey man, his God has blessed
him more than you. She's going. I don't know about
all that. And so she hangs around a while,
and I believe somebody else came. Said, man, I was just up at Jerusalem,
and that king up there, that King Solomon, man, he's got more
than you got. Hey, man, his place is bigger
than your place. Hey, man, and I mean, maybe one after another
after another until finally she said, all right, that's it. Load
up the camels, amen. Bring them on in here. Amen.
Get the horses. Get them wagons up here. And
they said, well, how much do you think we're to bring? And
she said, load that thing down with gold. Gold? She said, load it down. Amen.
And sure enough, man, they loaded that thing down to the axles
were probably bowing. Amen. And the horses were turning
around looking like 1,200 miles? Is that what I heard somebody
say? 1,200 miles? And man, I mean to tell you,
she loaded it down. I'm talking about with spices.
She had that thing loaded down. I mean, it was a train behind
her. And here she said, I'm gonna go find out just how great he
is. When I make my entrance, hey
man, he's gonna know who's great. When I come before him, he's
gonna go, wow, he'll probably bow to me when I come in. Hey
man, cause I'm bringing all this stuff. And you know what I'm
gonna do, just show him how great I am. I'm just gonna give it
to him. I'm gonna give him all these loads of gold and all these
loads of precious stones, all these loads of this stuff. I'm
gonna bring it in, I'm gonna give it to him. Just show him
how great that I am. Yeah, and sure enough, she
loads it up. Amen. Somebody must have said
something about his Lord. Because when I flip from Chronicles
over to the book of First Kings chapter number 10 verse number
one it says that when the Queen of Sheba heard of the fame of
Solomon. Listen concerning the name of the Lord. She came to
prove him with hard questions. Somebody must have said, he's
got the real God too. You don't got the real God, but
he's got the real God. She said, whoa, wait a minute
now. Hey, you talking about my God? Yeah, yeah, he's got the
Lord up there, right? Amen, and she said, yeah, we'll
see about that. I got some questions for him. I'm gonna go up here and I'm
gonna ask him some questions that he ain't gonna know. I'm
gonna ask him some things, some hard questions, and he's gonna
be stumped. He ain't all what you think he
is. He ain't as wise as they all say he is. I'll go up there,
I'll ask him some questions about his Lord and about him and some
things, and he's gonna be stumped. He's gonna go, wow, you are really
something. By the way, she was pretty too. Sure enough, I see in 2 Chronicles,
amen, I see that she brought a great, a very great, not just
a great company, but a very great company with her. I mean, there
was thousands with her as she come in, amen, to the city. Camels
that bear spices and gold in abundance and precious stones.
And when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all
that was in her heart. Now hold on. And Solomon told
her all of her questions. I love this part right here.
Hey man, because he didn't notice it doesn't say he told her all
of the answers. Did anybody get that besides
somebody giggling? Hey man, I believe Paul got it.
He didn't just, hey, he was like Daniel. Amen, he was like, amen,
like Joseph, amen. You wanna ask, amen, you want
me to interpret what you're gonna ask me? Amen, I'll tell you what
I'll do. I will tell you what you're gonna ask before, amen,
you even ask it. Y'all remember that great king,
amen, that came and wanted his dream interpreted? His wise men
come together, tell us what your dream is. And we will interpret
it. But he said, oh no. He said,
this time you're gonna tell me what the dream was, that way
I'll know that you ain't just making something up. I want you
to tell me what the dream was and then tell me what it means.
Well, they looked at him and they said, ain't a man on the
earth can do that. Ain't nobody can tell you what
you dreamed. You gotta tell us what you dreamed.
In other words, you gotta ask the questions and then we'll
figure out how to answer them. And he said, oh no. And by the
way, if you don't hurry, I'll kill you. I'm gonna kill all of you, all
the wise men. If I ain't got somebody wise
enough to tell me what the dream is, amen, I'm gonna kill them
all. Somebody ran over and told, amen, Daniel, amen, amen. Somebody
run and get Joseph, amen. I had a couple of different stories
there, amen. Sure enough, amen, he comes in,
all right, I'm gonna tell you what you dreamed and I'm gonna
tell you what it means, amen. Here's Solomon, he's got the
same God. Now, I'll tell you something
about Solomon. Solomon was amazing, Mason. He had visits from God. Literal, actual visits from God.
Face-to-face visits from God. Amen. God talked to him. See, he was pretty smart. As
a matter of fact, hey man, wouldn't it be something, wouldn't you
like to do this? Wouldn't you like it if me and you was walking
on the beach? Hey man, don't that sound like fun, a beach?
Hey man, and we're walking on the beach, and of course ain't
nobody there naked, hey man, it's just me and you. Hey man, and
we're walking down this beach, and all of a sudden, hey man,
he turns around and there's a bottle sticking up out of the sand.
And he runs over there and says, hey, preacher, look at this.
And he goes digging around a little bit, pulls out this bottle out
of the sand. And he said, look at that. And
he goes to dusting it off. And all of a sudden, a little
thing plops out of the end. Hey, man, all of a sudden, smoke
comes rolling out, and a genie comes out and says, you are my
master. Hey, man, I will give you anything
that you want. Hey, man, and you make a wish,
and you get it. Wouldn't that be awesome? Yeah.
He said, man, I want that Tonka toy. No, no he wouldn't. Hey man, I'm just kidding with
you. You know, what would you do?
Well, I want a mansion bigger than anybody else's mansion.
I want to be the president. I want the best this. I want a ship so I can go to
Mars. I want, you know, you can name
off whatever you wanted. And though there was no trip
on the beach and there was no bottle that was rubbed and a
genie, all that's fictitious. It's all made up. There's no
sense. That's a cartoon. Amen. But, hey man, God showed
up one day and said to Solomon, what do you want? You ask for
it and I'll give it to you. Anything you want. Oh man, what
would you ask for? And he asked for wisdom. Pretty
wise to ask for wisdom. Hey man, he said, I want wisdom.
God gave him wisdom. Of course, he asked for wisdom
to be able to guide his people, answer their questions and their
needs, answer great requests from God, and God granted it. He had wisdom. As far as people
on the planet of earth, he was probably the wisest man outside
of the Lord Jesus. He's God in a body, but let's
be fair about it, outside of that, He was probably the wisest
man that ever walked on the planet. Did he do everything right? No,
he had 700 wives. I don't think that's very wise.
Say amen right there. And that wasn't enough, so I had 300 porcupines
on the side. Oh, concubines, okay, concubines.
Amen, and then he had some princesses. Amen, and he got over a thousand
women. I don't know about that being
wise or not. Amen, but, amen, he was, amen, wise when it come,
amen, to wisdom and things. Sure enough, she comes, she's
heard about him, and she comes, she says, I'm gonna stomp him
with some hard questions. And when she gets there, he not
only answers the questions, but he answers the, amen, what she
wants to know before he gives her the answers. You know what,
when it comes to spiritual things, I can do that. You say, you can
do that? Yeah. Yeah, you just bring a
wagon of gold and a wagon of stuff. No, no, no, no, you don't
have to bring that. Yeah, when it comes to spiritual
matters, you know what they're usually asking? I need to know how I
can be saved. I need to know, well, God, forgive
me. I need to know what is it that God wants me to do about
this and about that. And you know what? And the answers
are not hard, amen, as long as they'll bring the questions,
amen. And usually I know what their questions are before they
even ask them, amen. Somebody comes to you, can I
talk to you again, Pastor, in your study? I mean, you already
know what they're gonna ask. You know what they're struggling
with, amen, amen. And so sure enough, amen, I see
that. She comes, she's gonna, Show
him. According to the Bible, in verse
number 6 it says, how be it I believe not their words. She didn't believe
it. I'm telling you right here. I
just told you. You said tell, I told you, okay. I'm joking. Number six says, how be it I
believe not their words. I believe not their words. They
were telling me how great he was. We've been telling them,
hey man, you need Jesus. He's the best thing ever happened.
And they don't believe in it. He's coming back. He's going
to take us away. We're coming back. We're going
to be on white horses. We're going to come in the atmosphere.
He's going to kill everybody. Amen. Blood's going to run up
to the bridle on the horses. He's going to set up a kingdom.
We're going to live a thousand years. Amen. And they're looking
like, yeah. You've been eating mushrooms.
She didn't believe it. She said she didn't believe it.
So sure enough, she come with the wrong spirit. She come with
the spirit of unbelief. She come with the spirit, amen,
that she felt like she didn't need him, that she was greater
than he was. Now, it's going to get good here
in just a minute. Y'all hold on. I'm running slow here a little
bit, amen. But he said I had liberty, praise
God, and I do. It's dripping all over up here.
It's even hard to stay focused on the message, amen. Sure enough,
hey man, let me back up here. Solomon told her all of her questions,
and there was nothing he hid from Solomon. He knew every question
she was gonna ask. He knew every answer to every
question that she asked, amen. And it says in verse number three,
and when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon at
the house that he had built, Man, she's an amazement. Let
me give you an outline so that you'll know I've done my homework.
Hey man, first of all, the reputation of the king. Hey man, she heard
about his wealth and his works and his wisdom and his worship.
And now because she's seen how great that he is, hey man, hey
man, she's wanting to know more. She wants to know more about
his Lord. Man, here are the many we'll
find it. Amen, it says in the meat of his table. Amen, I see,
amen, the riches of the king. Amen, the possessions that he
had and the provisions that he had and the people that he had.
Look at it, verse number four says, and the meat of his table
and the sittings of his servants. I noticed this word and, I'm
reading it over and over and over and over. She said, man,
when I saw him, she said, and the meat that he had on his table
and the sitting of his servants and the attendance of his ministers
and his His cupbearers also, and she goes on, and it's just
one right after, and it's a scent by which he went up into the
house of the Lord. He went to church, and when he
ascended up to go into the house of God, there was a celebration. The people had a king that worshiped
God. And there was no more spirit
in her. She just looked at all that he had, and she was so amazed,
and so in awe. Man, here she done gave him that
gold, but man, when she saw how much gold he had, and she gave
him them spices, but she's almost embarrassed, because look at
all the spices that he's got. And she said, you know, here
is all that I brought, all these precious stones, but my, my,
my, look at all the stones that he's got. And she stepped back,
and she had servants. But they wasn't too happy. They
was about like that horse. I mean, they're doing what she
said, but they ain't happy about it. She was amazed. Wait a minute.
His servants are happy. What's going on here? Hey man,
happy are your servants. Hey man, verse number seven says,
happy are thy men and happy are these thy servants. She said,
how are you getting them to do this without threatening to kill
them, hey man, if they don't? They're wanting to. Hey man,
Solomon would just say, go get this. And they'd go, thank you,
thank you. Hey man, they'd take off. Hey man, they'd come running
back with it. Hey man, and she's like, wow, how is he doing that? How is he getting these servants
to be happy about it? I mean, I can tell it. They love
him, and they want to serve him. She said, mine don't do that,
mine don't do that. Sure enough, amen, I see the
riches of the king, amen, and I see the reality, amen, this
is real, amen. She said in verse number six,
how bid I believe not their words until I came, and mine eyes had
seen it, and behold, the one half of the greatness of thy
wisdom was not told to me, for thou exceedest the fame that
I heard, amen. She said, hey, the half has never
been told. She said, hey, you ought to write
a song about it. Life's never been dull. She said, I really
came with the wrong spirit. She said, I came thinking that
I was just as big as he was. Amen, let me read this a bit
farther. She goes into this now. Amen, blessed be the Lord thy
God. Amen, she realizes that he's
got the real God, which delighteth in thee, to set thee on his throne. Amen, to be king for the Lord
thy God, because thy God loveth Israel, to establish them forever.
Therefore, may thee be king over them, to do judgment and justice. And she gave the king 120 talents
of gold and of spices great abundance and precious stones. Neither
was there any such spice as the Queen of Sheba gave King Solomon. And the servants also, Huram
and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold, amen, and
we go on down a little bit, amen, but we get to verse number 12,
notice this, when we get to verse number 12, amen, there's all
kinds of instruments and singers singing, things are happening,
amen, then it says in verse number 12, and King Solomon gave the
queen of Sheba all her desire, listen now, whatsoever she asked,
beside that which she had brought unto the king. Now, if you paid
attention right there, she gave him all that stuff, gold, 120
talents of gold. That horse went, whew, man, I'm
glad they unloaded that. Woo. And then he heard something.
The king said, load back everything that she brought. And then load
down everything she could desire and want. And she turned around
and looked at his kingdom. And she said, anything that I
want. And he said, yeah, you just pick
out anything, anything your heart's desire. Hey man, we'll load it. Hey man, sure enough, she said,
what about that? And he said, load it. And the
servants jumped up and said, whoa, we get to load it. And
he ran over there. Hey man, they got it loaded on
the trailer. And that horse turned around and said. And she said, what about that?
He said, get it, and they ran. What about that and that and
that? And man, he loaded it down. And what was? Hey man, a trailer,
a wagon full of gold now was heaping. Shit, everything she
gave to him, he kept a record and gave it all back, plus whatever
she could desire in her heart. Now y'all know I'm not preaching
about Solomon, though. So I want you to go to Matthew
now with me. Introduction's done. Matthew. Matthew chapter number
12 in your Bible. Matthew chapter number 12 in
your Bible. Verse number 42. Matthew chapter
12. Verse number 42. Amen. I want you to notice here what
it says. This is in red letters in my Bible. If it's in black
in yours or purple, it don't matter. Amen. It's still what
Jesus said. These are words coming out of
his very lips. This is God in the flesh. God,
the one that spoke the world into existence is talking. Anybody
interested? And this is what he said. The
queen of the south, of course, Sheba was south, 1200 miles of
Jerusalem, shall rise up in the judgment with this generation
and shall condemn it. For she came from the uttermost
parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Oh, this is
what I've been waiting for ever since I got here. And behold,
he said, look up in here. A greater than Solomon is here. Jesus, amen, said, hey, behold,
look up in here. Amen, a greater than Solomon
is here. Are you telling us that you're
greater than Solomon? And he is. Amen, let me say just a few words
about that and then I'm gonna share something with you. Amen,
this is what, this is what, amen, if I was gonna compare, now,
I'll be honest with you, we've probably never seen a building
as magnificent. None of us. Maybe you've been
to New York and you saw the skyscraping buildings and maybe you've been
places and you've seen some buildings that were awesome. We've probably
never seen a building ever in our existence. Amen. Like the
temple was gold pillars. I mean just rows and rows and
rows of awesome pillars. I'm talking about gold everywhere. I mean amazing what that place
was. But you compare that to what
our Savior has. He said, I'm greater than him.
Amen. How's he greater? In every way.
Amen. Amen. Jesus is greater in wisdom. Amen. Amen. Amen. Not only does he know what she
could ask about or what you could ask about, amen, he knew before
you was ever made what you was going to ask about. Before the
foundations of the world, he'd already looked down and said,
I think I will make Terry Deeds the pastor here. And I'm going to just for the
fun of it, I'm going to give him Chris. He's got a sense of
humor. Humor, don't it? No, I'm sure the pastor would
say it was one of the greatest blessings, amen, this church
has given, amen, that he's had in this church. Let me share
something with you, and I'm gonna use my outline just real quick.
I want you to go back with me. Let's go back to 1 Kings chapter
number 10 for just a little bit, and we'll be done here in just
a moment, amen. If there happens to be someone
here that's not been saved yet, I need you to pay special attention. Because this story, though as
great as it is, and it was an actual story, and that poor horse
never got over it. But it's also a spiritual story.
Jesus is saying, there's a greater than Solomon that's here. Let's
look at how she come, and let's look at how she left. Number
one, verse number one, amen, when the queen of Sheba had heard,
amen, I will tell you what it takes for you to be saved. First
thing it's gonna take, amen, is for you to hear it. You've
got to hear it. That's why it's so important,
amen, that we tell it, amen. Somebody, amen, went down there
and told her. Now, Brother Mason, whether they
went down there and told her, amen, in the right spirit or
the wrong spirit, it didn't matter, amen, it still got done, amen.
But somebody told her, amen. And you know what? We have the
responsibility. We have, amen, the accountability
someday. We'll stand before God, and God
will, amen, go back and look at every time that he dealt with
us to go tell somebody. I thank God that somebody gave
you that gospel track. Amen. And if we keep on going
like we're going, amen, we're averaging between 6 and 10 million
pieces a year. And we've been doing it for 22
years. That's a lot of stuff out there. That's a lot of paper. Amen. We just sent a bunch out
there to Guatemala. Amen. And the man was in our
church last night. Amen. And he told, amen, Brother
Byron in our church. Amen. Brother Byron come up in
front of the congregation and told us, amen, dozens were saved
when they got that out there. We sent a bunch of Bibles out
there in Spanish. Amen. They'd never had Bibles.
Amen. They were so amazed. Amen. I
mean, God has done some great things. somebody has to go tell
it. Now, you have a responsibility.
Amen. Anything as good as Jesus, amen, you ought not to be able
to help it. Amen. You ought to be able to just
be overflowing with it. Let me tell you about somebody
that's greater than anybody you've ever met. Let me tell you about
somebody that loves you more than anybody's ever loved you,
somebody that's got more than anybody ever had. Amen. You think
they're rich on this earth? Amen. His kingdom is so much
bigger than what this is. Now how big is the Lord Jesus?
Is He bigger than Solomon? According to the Bible, He flung
the stars off of His fingertips and flung them into their place.
And so our scientists Several years ago, they made this announcement
that every person on planet Earth could own, listen, four trillion
stars. Every person on planet Earth
could own four trillion stars. And that there were more stars
in space than there are blades of grass on planet Earth. But
they were wrong. Because when they sent that last
thing out with that better telescope, they zoomed in on some of those
stars, and they weren't stars. They were galaxies with billions
of stars in them. Oh, now. What are they going
to tell us now? Amen. God, the Lord Jesus said, boy,
it'd be neat just to look at this. Watch this. He measured out the water in
the ocean in the hollow of his hand. Hey man, I don't know if
this happened or not, but it'd be neat if it did. He said, look
here, what's this? What's this, angels? Look at
this, hey, come over here. What's this? Oceans, in the little hollow
part of his hand. He's a big'un. He is a big'un. He's a big'un. Amen. His city. You talking about Jerusalem
being awesome in that day? Man, she come in there, and man,
her spirit left her. She wasn't haughty anymore. Amen.
She got meek, real meek. Amen. She was like, oh, man,
I can't even believe that I thought I had anything. Amen. You know
what, Jesus, this city's gonna be like, oh, you know about it
because you read about it, didn't you? Amen. This one's gonna be
like, amen, it's gonna be 1,500 miles that way. And if you're standing at the
corner, it's gonna be 1,500 miles that way. And if you trot down
there, amen, and you get to the corner, it's gonna be 1,500 miles
down the backside. Amen, you trot down there at
that end, amen, turn around, it's gonna be 1,500 miles that
way. Now, Brother Sammy Allen said,
but that's not the big part. He said, if you look up, amen,
it's 1,500 miles high. It's a big one. Now, it don't just have some gold
in it, Dustin, but it's made out of it. The whole city. It ain't just the road made out
of it. The whole city is made out of it. The walls are jasper. The gates, amen, each gate is
one large, I mean, awesome pearl, amen. The concrete block, what
we'd call the foundations of the city, are made out of beautiful
stones, amen. She brought, amen, a little wagon
full of stones that was worth millions, amen. They estimate
what she brought was in the billions, billions now. She's pretty rich. But God, the Lord Jesus of Siddi,
would make both of their kingdoms look like a net. My God knows all the questions. My God knows all the answers.
Amen. So the first thing she did though
was she heard. Amen. And then notice verse number
one. Amen. When the Queen Sheba heard of the famous Solomon concerned
of the name of the Lord, she came. You know what it's going
to take for you to be saved? First of all, you've got to hear
about Him. You can't believe in something you've not heard about. Faith
cometh by hearing, hearing by the Word of God. Amen. You're
not going to believe in somebody you've never heard about. Amen.
We have the responsibility to tell them they don't have a Bible,
and if they've got one, they ain't reading it. Amen. Most
Christians ain't reading theirs. Amen. So you've got to tell them.
Amen. Your epistles known and read
of all men. Amen. They're watching you. Amen. Tell
them. Somebody tell them. And sure enough, amen, somebody
told her, and when she heard, amen, she came. It's gonna get
deep, ain't it? Amen, verse number two and verse
number three, amen, between 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles, amen, we see
that she emptied out her heart, amen, she asked Him everything,
every question she ever had in her heart. You know what it's
gonna take for you to be saved? You're gonna have to hear about
it, you're gonna have to come to Him, amen, come unto me all you that
labor and are heavy laden, amen, we're talking about conviction,
Amen, we're talking about laying down with sin. Amen, you realize
it, that's called conviction. Amen, you realize that he's right
and you're wrong. And so she heard and she came.
Amen, and then she emptied out her heart. In verse number two
and verse number three, my, my, my, she's emptying out her heart.
Amen. She's telling him everything, asking all the questions. He
told her in 2 Chronicles 2 out of chapter 9, Solomon told her
all her questions, and there was nothing hid from Solomon.
Nothing was hid. He already knows. You say, well
I just can't tell him about this. Really? He already knows. So
I wonder if he'd save me. He already knows. Does he know
that I did that? He already knows. Amen. He already
knows. He knows the very secrets of
the mind and the intentions of the heart. He knows every sin
you've ever done. Amen. And he still loves you.
What about that? She heard and she came and she
emptied out her heart, amen, and then she saw how great that
he was. Looking at verse number four,
amen, she saw the meat that was at his table. Amen, verse number
three says this, and when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom
of the house that he built, all that he had, amen, when she saw
him, you know what it takes to be saved? It takes you, amen,
hearing about him, coming to him, emptying out your heart
to him, amen, and then realizing how great that he really is.
Amen. He is God. Amen. Verse number five, look at it.
Amen. She repented. And she said to the king, it
was true. Amen. In verse number five, let
me back up just a little bit to verse number four. Amen. It says
there was no more spirit in her. No more spirit, no more haughty
spirit. She didn't die here. She didn't
die. It wasn't like she had no more
spirit. She died. Amen. It was that she had no
more haughty spirit, no more rebellious spirit. You know what
it takes for you to be saved? You've got to side with God against
yourself. That's what verse number five
would tell us, amen. She said, it says, and she said
to the king, it was a true report which I heard in mine own land
of thine acts and of thine wisdom, amen. She sided with him that
it was true, amen, over her. And what I had to do to be saved,
you know what you had to do to be saved, amen? You had to agree with God
that he was right. So what Brother Al was saying
a while ago, amen, when he come in contact with God, amen, he
had to side with God, amen, against his own self. If you're still
holding on to yourself, amen, God ain't gonna play no games
with you. Amen, you've got to come to the place to where you
realize that you're the sinner and that he's the Savior. Amen,
you're the human and he's God. Amen, he's great and you're not.
Amen, you're a liar and he tells the truth. So she agreed with him in verse
number six that he, amen, was truth. Verse number seven, look
at it. Verse number seven says, happy
are thy men and happy are these thy servants which stand continually
before thee, amen, and hear thy wisdom. Blessed be the Lord thy
God, amen. You're gonna have to believe,
amen. In verse number six it says, how be it I believed not
their words until I came. You know what you gotta do? You
gotta believe. You gotta believe. So you gotta hear. You gotta
come. Amen. You gotta empty out your heart
to God. Amen. You gotta realize how great that
he is. Amen. You gotta be willing to repent
of your spirit that's not right. Amen. You gotta agree with God
that it's the truth. And then you gotta believe it.
She didn't believe it till she saw it. Amen, let me tell you
what happens when you get saved. You become one of those servants
that's happy. Amen, and sure enough, verse number 12, I wanna
say this in closing, you can't out give God. I've been giving
to God for 34 and a half years. Amen, God has kept up with everything
I've ever gave him. Every little thing. He may have
an angel that walks around keeping a record. He may. I don't know
if he really needs it or not. He knows everything, don't he?
But there may be a recording angel walking around with Chris.
When God first saved Chris, amen, God might have said, here's an
angel, amen, that angel's gonna watch over you, amen, here's
another angel, he's gonna record everything that you say and everything
that you do, because you're gonna give an account before God with
it. And I want this angel here to make sure he takes every record
of how much that he's done, because when he gets there, amen, I'm
gonna give him it all back, plus so much more. Amen. Amen, God kept up with every
time I gave somebody a $10 bill in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Every time somebody, amen, every time they took up an offering
for a preacher, amen, and I dropped that 20 in there. Amen, God had
it all recorded. Amen, He's keeping up with it.
You say, preacher, you're just trying to get us to give. No,
don't give, you don't have to do none of this. Amen, but if
you want to stand before God and get it all back, amen, plus
so much more, you can't out-give God. Now let me tell you what
God wants you to do. God, tonight, if you're not saved,
this is what God wants you to do. He wants you to be like the
Queen of Sheba. You're gonna have to recognize that He is
superior to you. Amen. Greater than Solomon is
here at Temple Baptist Church. So who is it? It's Jesus. And Jesus tonight is saying,
I'm far greater than any king that's ever been or any kingdom
that's ever been. And I'm willing to receive you
into my kingdom if you'll come. Now you can't come haughty. You can't come, amen, halfway. You're gonna have to come, amen,
with a repenting heart. He already knows everything about
you, all the details of your mind, and He knows whether you're
saved or not. Let's bow our heads together
tonight. Amen. I wonder, just wonder, if there
might be somebody here tonight that needs to make a
