Part 2: He Came to Take Away Our Sin

Purpose: John writes the following section of his epistle to confront the false teaching that sin is insignificant so that these Christians would recognize that a major aspect of God's purpose for saving them was not only to reconcile them to God, removing their guilty, but also to make them holy.
Proposition: God wants you to live a holy life set apart to His will.
Interrogative: How can you live this kind of life?
