Striving to Tame the Tongue

As grievous and unseemly and as sinful as violations of the 9th Commandment of God's Law are in the political realm and in secular society, would you not agree with me that such violations of God's Law are even more grievous when they occur within the confines of the Church of Jesus Christ? That is why as we turn to the words of our text for today as recorded for us in James 3:1-12 we find ourselves being challenged by the fact that, true to form, the Holy Spirit inspired Apostle James very practically applies a number of Biblical principles in exhorting all Christians everywhere to Be the Body of Christ by Striving to Tame the Tongue!
