The Rescuer Who Restores His People and Draws the Nations

God's final answer to corrupt leadership and worship is a transformed Zion (Jerusalem) in which He will re-establish His temple presence so that not just Israel but the nations will be drawn to Him to learn His ways and enjoy His lasting peace. The LORD will bring this about by restoring His afflicted people from the nations with a new king from David's dynasty.

1. The LORD's exalted presence in Zion
   will draw the nations to Him (4:1-5)

2. The LORD will restore His afflicted
   people with a new King (4:6-8)

3. The LORD will bring freedom and
   victory out of present distress
   (4:9-13)
