Duties of the Pastor

A godly pastor is a overseer and an example, and he leads by example. He must be willing to bow down and wash the disciples feet, but also to get in their face and tell them that they are wrong.
He should rule with gentleness, humility, and love…but also be willing to tie a whip together and run out the extortionist.
No church is to be ruled by a dictator. Just because some would abuse this power, does not mean that God’s people can up and decide that they don’t want to submit to God’s man.
