This afternoon, Daniel, the first chapter, the seventh through the eighth verse, unto whom the princes of the, I'm sorry, the eighth through the ninth verse. But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank. Therefore, he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. Unclean in scripture means to be defiled, polluted, unhealthy, or unfit. And it refers to foods that are unfit or defilement of religious character, of religious character, and of moral or spiritual impurity. The word defilement describes a sinful and an unfit condition, as we see Israel was in Isaiah the sixth chapter in the fifth verse. Why Isaiah said, then said I, war is me. For I am undone because I'm a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the King of the Lord. Seeing God and having any dealings with God causes you to see your own depravity and lack of purity and holiness. We see there where Daniel said he wouldn't defile himself. So he knew about defilements as being clean or unclean. And it says that God had given him favor with the eunuchs. When God puts you in a state of justification and cleanliness and purity, and I told you that's why it says in the contemporary prophet Ezekiel said that if Daniel, Noah, or Job was in the land, they would only save themselves. Because they were known as men of purity. Job was a perfect and upright man. Daniel was a man that was clean and honorable, and we don't find any faults in Daniel, but they said it wasn't any blemishes in him. In other words, their character was unbesmirched. It was unspotted. Same as Noah, it says, Noah found grace in the sight of God during the time when the thoughts of man was evil continually. Noah found grace in God's eyesight. So Daniel would be in the condition as we are as born-again believers. Daniel was placed in Babylon, which is a picture of the world, of the world system, a corrupt world system in which we dwell. We live in Babylon. We have to shun the things and the people of Babylon and this world to stay unspotted from the world. The word defilement describes this certain condition I told you, but in the Old Testament, distinguishes between what is clean and helpful is what is unclean and unacceptable according to Leviticus 10 and 10. We know it's just not in that Levitical law because even before the law was given by Moses, we read where Noah took pair of the unclean animals and he didn't take them. He took two pairs of a certain number of pairs of unclean animals and a certain number of pairs of clean animals. So there was a distinguishing between clean and unclean even at that time. We know Cain and Abel offered up sacrifices unto the Lord. You couldn't just offer anything of a sacrifice, so you had to be taught, had to have instruction. So Daniel and his friends, I told you, they was of nobility, and they had been instructed in all of Judaism and all of the laws of the Jews, and we see he was just like Peter. Remember, Peter says, Lord, I have never eaten anything clean or unclean. while Daniel was looking for spiritual purity and purity with God. The New Testament deals more with spiritual applications and lists uncleanness, a moral defilement, along with fornication and other sins as works of the flesh. So we're not talking about separation for food's sake. Remember I told you I didn't eat with the people that I used to work with a lot of times. It's because the associations with them, the conversations and the fellowship, it wasn't because of the food. Because food doesn't commend you to God. The Old Testament uses it as an example to divide God's people, to put a difference in between what was holiness and unholy. But in the New Testament, it's spiritual. All of the implications are spiritual. That's why Galatians 5, 19, and 21 talks about the works of the flesh. It says, now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evidence. In other words, the sinful nature controlling a person instead of his spiritual nature. If you're born again, your spiritual nature should be leading you as it led Daniel to say, look, I'm not going to defile myself. I'm not going to do this. So the spiritual nature and the sinful nature is evidence there are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality. It is total irresponsibility, a lack of self-control, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions that promote heresies, envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. I also have it listed here in the Living Bible as to their definitions of that. It says, but when you follow your own wrong inclinations, your lives will produce these evil results. Impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, spiritism, hatred, fighting, jealousy, anger, constant effort to get the best for yourself, complaints and criticisms, the feeling that everyone else is wrong except those in your own little group, and there will be wrong doctrine, envy, murder, drunkenness, all of these things. So we see the greater implication is spiritual instead of physical, just in separations of foods, of meats, of different clothing that you should wear or whatever, but it's a complete inward thing. It's confined to the spirit man, that which defiles the man. Now, we see also things that can defile you in this day and age if we are spiritually born again in learning of Christ. We see trusted, worthy leaders. We know we couldn't, with the new president-elect, it is a wrong foundation. It can't, you know, it may physically make Babylon a little bit different than what he, you know, I don't know of any effect spiritually that it would do because you couldn't trust him. He's a man that can't be trusted. You can't trust in him. You can't trust in the political leaders. You can't trust in the religious leaders. And so worldly associations are not to be trusted. Worldly influences, separation from the world, Satan is the God of this world and friendship with this world. Walking on the course of this world defiles you, Christian and the world. In other words, you're in an interaction and fellowship with certain Christians within the church because some of them you may have to disfellowship from the church. If they've not done something grave enough to be disfellowshipped from the church, you have to stay from within their personal associations. because there are so many corrupt people in the church. It's totally corrupt. We're dealing with a culture of decay, a corrupt culture, and it has a world-defining influence. That's why I say Daniel wasn't sent to preach to Babylon. He wasn't a prophet. He was carried into Babylon in captivity for the trying of his faith to be a light amongst a dark world, just like in this nation. All we can do is be lights in this nation because God doesn't build with corruption. So this nation has become corrupted and there's no building back Babylon. Babylon has fallen. All of the nations are in the process of becoming the kingdom of God. One nation under God, with Jesus Christ, the governing authority. So nothing comes out of Babylon just like the dissolution of Babylon comes. 2 Timothy 3.13 says, but evil people and imposters will flourish. We see that that's what's popular in this nation. If we could strive to be as crooked as our leader is, as lying as he can, as ravishing the females and things i wouldn't want any of my sons to be patterned very few politically they're rapists their criminals but they hypocritical in their dealings they have not they don't follow the rule of law but they preach it teach the rule of law there's the pharisees to say listen at what the pharisees saying but don't do as they do because It's a hypocritical nation in which we live in. If any of my sons came up to be like our president, I wouldn't want to have ownership of that, those characteristics. I would feel a total failure, the depravity which lies within this nation. Just as with the world, Daniel knew that Babylon was corrupt and would defile him with any unwatch associations. He knew that he had to kind of be alone, to be alone. First Corinthians 5 and 11 says but now I have written unto you not to keep company if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator or covetous or idolater or railer or drunkard or extortioner which such as one know not to eat The amplified says but actually I've written to you not to associate with any so-called Christian brother if he's sexually immoral or greedy, or he is an idolater, those devoted to things that takes the place of God, or is a reviler, one who insults or slanders or otherwise verbally abuse others. And that's what this nation is about. And a leader is a representation of what the nation is. That's why he says his people love to have it so. Because we live among a mixture of fornicators. Donald Trump Jr. is always advocating and doing a lot of talking. But he divorced his wife that has five children. They're divorced and he's living in a fornicating, adulterous relationship with Kimberly Guilfoyle. They've been sleeping together for the last four or five years or whatever. But churches and the nation have them speaking and her speaking at engagements and everything, but it never comes up. But that's a sign of defilement. The whole thing is defiled, but he's one of their representatives, she's one of their representatives, and some of their go-to people. But this is what the nation loves and this is what the nation is after because they said the character, they know these people are immoral or have no character, but they can make them a lot of money. So that makes the nation idolaters and covetous. That makes them idolaters and covetous also. Because if you can understand character, and just 20 or 30 years ago, it was the Republican Party that said character matters. But it's only hypocritical character. They have double standards. In other words, they have double standards. In other words, they're like the Pharisees, that you can speak or teach this, but you don't have to live it. There's no change in them. When Bill Clinton was running for president, they were saying character matters, but we here have character that has devolved, have been denigrated into a totally corrupt society. So Babylon has indeed fallen. It has fallen by the wayside. Notice that God strongly expresses the concept of separation from what is spiritually impure. That's why he said, when you go into Canaan, make sure you destroy all of the Canaanites. By not destroying all of the Canaanites, they became thorns in their sides. And now it's just like the United States, they're biting and devouring one another. We are on the cusp of civil war. The nation is so divided because there's a time when others are wise enough or others grow secular strong enough to say, well, we're not going for this anymore. We will have to turn the page. In other words, the rubber at some time meets the road. And God is bringing this about, he says, if the fire is already kindled, because he's coming back. And we see that he has to come back soon, unless of the destruction of all flesh. We're on the precipice of destruction, and all things appear in the nation, they don't have thoughts of purity. As Titus said, to the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but even their mind and consciousness are defiled. And so that's what we are amongst now is a very corrupted and defiled church and the defilement comes from within. We're in a time, as in the book of Revelation, when Jesus Christ says he's coming back and fighting against the church. That great falling away where the church has apostatized, Satan's ministers have been changed into ministers of light. so they are preaching and teaching as jesus was saying there be many antichrists in those final or last days that there be many antichrists So the doctrine is what's also defiling because they're breaking the doctrine. They're conflating the gospel, that the gospel is not preached with the power it should be preached with, and the upstanding or the uprightness are not there within the people. Defilement from within, Proverbs 23 and seven says, for as he thinking in his heart, so is he. eat and drink, he says to thee, but his heart is not with thee. I've taken this one verse, but I want you to go back and study the surrounding verses. This is the Kings is one that as Daniel thought about that you should eat of this person's delicacies, you should eat at their table because their hearts not right. The amplified brings it out. It says for He thinks it is hard, so is he in behavior. He's one that manipulates you. They're manipulating you with the food. In other words, the food is given away. A lot of churches give away food for you to fellowship or to get a name. The Catholic Church is a pretty good church, and it's not looking for membership. It does, does a lot. So we're looking at the deeds, and we're looking at certain things that defile individuals spiritually. And that's why I say, so it wasn't in the physical eating or drinking or whatever, and you can't use those things as deeds that commend you to God. You can't say, well, didn't we feed the needy? Didn't we help those? It's not a work that saves you. That's why I said Babylon is fallen because none of these leaders and the majority of the people we see, their hearts hadn't been changed. The problem is a heart sickness. And without repentance, without an inward change, the outward man is still perishing. You are what you eat was a common expression, but it's not an entirely true adage, especially in spiritual things. And that's why Jesus came to clarify this because remember the Pharisees would Always wash before they eat from coming back from marketplace. It was ritually a ceremonial task that they only undertook But in talking about this jesus says in the book of mark the seventh chapter in the 15th verse This there's nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile the man so unclean and clean or none of that can defile a man But the things which comes out of him, those are the things that defiles a man. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. Jesus is explaining that we are not necessarily what we eat, but what we think, what we say, what's coming from the heart. 23 and seven backs this up for As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Now we get to the crux of the crucible. What are you in your heart? And I tell you, without a changed heart, you're still the same old man. You have to have a circumcision, a new heart given to you. We always sin in thought before we sin in word or deed, because the things that defile us, as Jesus said, originates inside of us. It comes from the heart. Jeremiah said, 17 and nine, the heart is deceitful, wicked above all things, and desperately wicked. who can know it. So we see that Daniel's attempt not to defile himself by using the example of food with us, that this was literal during his time, but it was figurative for us. It had another meaning to us, the spiritual implications of that. One of our greatest enemy lurks within us, poised to bring disaster on us if we allow it to take control, and that is our heart. That's why we have to have a new heart, the seed of understanding, of knowledge and wisdom. This devious, corrupt enemy hides its motives from itself so that its owner does not really know it. No man knows his own heart. That's why it's bad advice to tell someone to follow their own heart. The motives and intents is what God's looking at. That's why I say a lot of people were saying what their intentions was, but why did you vote the way you vote? Why do you go to the church that you go to church? What purposes you have in life? If they hadn't been converted, if you had been born again, all of that is defiling you. That's what defiles you. All of that mass of the world's thinking, the world's thoughts, this world order falling the course of this world. the influence of the people and the spirits of this world, the principalities and powers and wicked spirits in our places. Your heart imbibes all of that. It is full of deceit, folly, and it is incurable, and it's corruption, and it often prompts us to act against our best interest. And before we're even aware that we are weakly following its urges, it brings about nepotism. It brings about a spouse not knowing where that line is drawn between spouses. We do things because we love one another or whatever. It's a feeling of love. It's not spiritual. It's not agape. It's not the love of God. That's because you're none of God's. To be led by the spirit of God because It's predicated upon obedience is what keeps you pure and holy. The minute Adam and Eve disobeyed God, their innocence was taken away. They were subjected to knowing good and evil, and now that they could make decisions and choices, that's what we preached on yesterday about personal choices. It's the personal choice, it's your sin, your iniquity separates you from God because there's a way that seeming right to a man in the end is death and destruction. Just what is this enemy that is so well concealed and evil against our own good? Mark 1 in 41 says, move with compassion for his suffering Jesus reached his hand out and touched him and said, I'm willing that thou be cleansed. This was the leper and it was against the law to touch anyone that's leprous. It was against the law to touch dead corpses and Jesus did all this because that was Old Testament that shattered a New Testament principle those things don't defile you. There's a second and third chapter of Malachi that talks about the priest contaminating and being contaminated and what is holiness transferable or not. And Jesus knew that he could heal the leper without himself being a center of being contaminated because it's not done that way. But we're looking at what he meant under the old covenant, touching the unclean, defiled person was against the laws of Leviticus five and three. But Christ showed us that under the New Testament, this wasn't so. It's a different administration that we're under in this New Testament. Page that didn't print here. What defiles a man? Matthew 15 chapter 18 through 21. But whatsoever, whatever word comes out of the mouth comes from the heart. And this is what defiles and dishonors the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts and plans and murders, adulterers, sexual immorality, thefts, false testimonies, slanders, verbal abuse, irreverent speech, blasphemy. These are things which defile and dishonor the man, but eating with ceremonially unwashed hands does not defile the man. So that's why I say looking at television, which I don't look at as much, and I know I won't look at it as much since we have such revolting figures that have come to the forefront. because these things can defile you. And unless you hear with your ears, you become dull of hearing. It's just like listening to some blasphemous music or rap music or rhythm, whatever music, the blues, whatever type music that has a negative five to it. In other words, that speaking negative, and that's what I say, the way we treat our women, the way we treat our children, what we allow our children to see, no nation should have to endure this amount of corruption, especially from its leaders. So we can't say you should be like this, or you should do this, and that should really reduce idolatry. but we are a Dollar Tree's nation. That's our nature, that old man, that old nature, which thrives here in Babylon. So that's why when God sent his people to Babylon, it also, he scattered the people. It was a purging effect because the multitude didn't come away from Babylon because they loved darkness because their deeds was darkness. And that's what God's chosen people. But you remember we, the scripture from the New Testament, they said the children of the kingdom shall be cast out. that he was taking a Gentile bride. In other words, he was taking those that he said was not his people to be his people. We will, as he purges the church, there's gonna be a new generation, a different class of people that come into the church, those that's flowing into the house of God, won't reject God's word, won't rebel against God's word. They'll be willing to establish the kingdom of God, which the church, which God's people rejected. They were the ones that crucified God. His own people. And that's what we, a lot of times we're harder on those that are within our family familiarity, they say breeds contempt. Within our own people, sometimes you have less respect. Sometimes your children respect you less than outside children. So we have to be careful here. Matthew 15 and 16, and Jesus said, are you yet without understanding? And he said, are you still so dull and unable to put things together? See, because the church is slow, and I don't know if it's because they hadn't been taught a lack of clarification of understanding, because God's people have a zeal for God, but he said it's not according to knowledge but they perish because of lack of knowledge. And so when Peter asked him to explain his parable to him, we have to pray to God to open up our understanding so we could understand what's being preached because the church has to go on to perfection. Those that's continuing to fellowship or do the things that's holding them down, they might not advance, but those of us who could advance, we have to lead them to their own devices. We have to go higher in Christ Jesus. We have to press on toward the mark of a high calling in Christ Jesus and tell them they just have to go and get that from someone that buys and sells because You can't allow someone to pigeonhole your spiritual growth because they're dull of hearing, or because they are disobedient, or God hadn't put them in the place he had put you, because there's much required of each one of us. And I'm pressing on for the high calling in Christ Jesus. Just as today, carnal man, The Christian churches call it carnal Christians and all of that. It's no such thing. We're giving names to things and we're putting places for people to do as they want to do or whatever. These are unconverted people. These are rebellious people that are not taking hold to the gospel. Evil thoughts and evil schemes shouldn't be the Christian. It shouldn't be in his vernacular. It shouldn't be anywhere in his tool chest. It shouldn't be used. Those are the things that we're being put to death. Blasphemy not only refers to blasphemy in the modern vernacular of the sense, but in the very narrow sense of the word, but it also It's criticism, a libel of others, the way we speak of others, the way we lie and have Romans and hearsays and all of these heretical sayings and teachings and everything. That's blasphemy for a child of God to go against the truth! unruly tongue. The Spirit is what tames the tongue. You can't have a fountain that's spewing forth pure water and sour water. It can't be defiled water. It can't be sweet and bitter. You can't profane the holy. You're profaning that which is holy. That's why I say it lies in the Sabbath day. When you don't understand the Sabbath, when you hadn't entered into the rest, then you say any old day would do. But God's word says he set apart one day. That day he set apart. Now all kinds of man's philosophies and dealings. Do you have scripture on any of these things or do you want to follow the word of God and the promises of God? not some man's philosophy or ideology or opinionated of his. That's why I say that's why we have dissenters in factions in the church is we go off on someone's else opinion. That's why we have such a confusion. Can this type of language not defile an individual? That's why he said Babel became Babylon because they wasn't understanding one another. It was a confusion in language. And that's why we have so many different doctrines, so many different denominations and teachers, and they say all roads leads to Christ. And he says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. So those that display, those that are his, have a certain character. If we're being made in his image and likeness, his image and likeness is not all over the place. It's absolute, not relative objective. We have a problem. Evil speaking, he warns us against evil speaking. Ephesians 431 says, let all bitterness, wrath and anger, clamor, that is perpetual animosity, Resentment, strife, fault finding, and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice that is all spiteful verbal abuse that's malevolence. We have to not have those things defile you, those things that you do. If you doing those things, you shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Those are spots in your love feast. Those are the things that defile the man. The Spirit's not in charge if you're not putting those things to death. You have to separate from those. You can't have association with that. You can't give power to those that do such things. Titus 3, 1 through 2 says, remind people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready and willing to do good or slander, to do good, to slander or abuse no one, to be kind and conciliatory and gentle, showing unqualified considerations and courtesy toward everyone. So we're not to disrupt the political scene. Notice that Daniel was cooperative and he was within that ministration, but he wouldn't cross the line between it and God. He was subject to the king, he was subject to authority. But sooner or later, when the kings cross lines, when the rulers cross lines, supernaturally, God intervenes. But we can't defile ourselves. You have to do as Shadrach and Meshach. We can't bow down to any golden images and statues. We can't follow you through covetousness and idolatry. You're on your own. I can't defile myself with that way of thinking, that way of acting. I can't even go along with you in that. I can't be a partaker of it. I can't be as Paul, the rest of his life, he was very hurt. And we've seen that was one thing that cut him to the bone. He was holding the coats of those that had stoned Stephen. He had taken part in that. It affected his whole ministry. James 3 and 6 says in the tongue, is in a sense of fire, the very world of injustice and unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members as that which contaminates the entire body and sets on fire the course of our life, the cycle of man's existence, and it itself is set on fire by hell. That tongue contaminates the whole body, what comes out of your mouth. And I hear our leaders. I see our politicians that are going along with defiled things. I see our congressmen, our religious leaders. I see people going along with these things. That's why I say I'm in Babylon. I can see that this is Babylon. And you would have to be blind You would have to have no understanding. You would have to not be able to hear. You would have to be able to be in the condition that Isaiah noted in the sixth chapter that the people couldn't see or couldn't hear because Satan had blinded their minds. But God says, until they be destroyed. Now you can love darkness rather than light and your whole world could be contaminated. You remember Demas forsook Paul. So don't think that you can just take fire in your bosom and not be burned. God is not marked. You can't outwit God now. And then when these things happen, you can't do as Adam and Eve going blaming one another, blaming somebody else. The blame lies rightly with you. It's within us. James 4 and 11 says, believers, Do not speak against or slander one another. He who speaks self-righteously against a brother judges his brothers hypocritically. Notice that word hypocritically in there. Because what judgment you judge shall be measured under you. So if you're using a Christian standard, I just offered a while ago when it says judge not criticized, and I was telling you about Donald Trump Jr. and what he was doing, was that the same measure that we use with everybody? That if you are fornicator, that if you're living in fornication, that should be applied to me also. So I'm going to be judged with that same judgment. I have six kids. If I divorce my wife and start living with another woman or whatever, I'm an adulterer, a fornication, a fornicator. We've had ministers that stepped away from the minister because they say they had an unlawful sexual relationship with someone. They were no longer qualified to leave. We've had five or six popular ministers that had to step aside because of being contaminated or spotted by an unlawful relationship. But to keep on and have the people follow you in this, that's the blind leading the blind. Now I do applaud them, God can forgive, God does forgive and restore or whatever, and God's a God of reconciliation. But they did the right thing in saying, I can't lead at this time, I can't do this because I've become contaminated, I've spotted myself. I've hindered myself, I've hindered my people. But not this nation, we cover it up, we keep going, and we plow on. Any other nations, what they should step back and do is see Babylon burn. Don't get tied up with that. You have to step back and watch Babylon burn. 1 Peter 2 and 1 says, so put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy. and envy and slander and hateful speech. And that's what this cycle was about, nothing but hateful speech. That's continually going, it's filling social media. One of the richest, the richest man in the world is a propagator that holds the largest social media company, but he's a slanderer. He produces hate speech. It's malice. And he's a dissenter. I've never heard him talk about Jesus or anything. But we have a problem in this nation. We have a problem. That's why I say, with fear and trembling, we better get to studying God's word. We better watch the associations we make. And we better start laying aside every weight and sin that's besetting us. and run this race with patience. First Peter talks about the one who wants to enjoy life and see good days must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile, that is treachery or deceit. Now the characteristics of an evil heart, the characteristics of an evil heart. One of them is stubbornness, stubbornness. Ecclesiastes 8 and 11 says, because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. In other words, the living says because God does not punish sinners instantly, people feel it is safe to do wrong. Everybody is jumping on, and this election's gonna make the nation even worse because this is gonna be the common way to do things, is to appeal to men living as the way that they did with the adulterous woman that they brought to Jesus. Living with men that disrespect women, living with men that voices wrong opinions, hateful speech, that are derogatory and all of these things. The nation can only get worse because it seems that you're rewarded for doing evil. They love darkness rather than light. That's why it says Jesus is gonna come back. taking vengeance on those that know not God and those that obey not the gospel. Those that obey not the gospel will be the ones in the church that should have known better. They should have known better. But they facilitated this. They caused God's name to be blasphemed. Right now, it's a problem. That's why so many are falling away from the church. Because how can you trust the church and you see how wicked and corrupt the church has become? They have a name of God, and that's using God's name in vain. When you take the name of Jesus upon you, and you don't depart from iniquity, it says, he that nameth the name of Christ, let him depart from iniquity. That's a problem, that's a defiling effect that this defiling can't touch the body of Christ, so that means you're none of His. You could be operating as Samson, the Spirit of the Lord's gonna leave you and you're not gonna know it. You'll be turned over to a reprobate mind. That's those that are going on in Jesus' name, but are not going on in the Spirit. Madness is another characteristics of evil heart. Ephesians 9 and 3. This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all. Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. Because a lot of these men don't believe in God. And so they die, but we think that that's the end of it, but there's a price to pay even in death. Even in death, there's a price that you will stand before God and receive for the deeds done in your body. your conscience has been seared as a hot iron. The living says, the same providence confronts everyone, whether good or bad, religious or irreligious, profane or godly. It seems so unfair that one faith comes to all. That is why men are not more careful to do good, but instead choose their own mad course, for they have no hope that there's nothing but death ahead anyway. That's why they say, I'm not afraid to die. In all of this killing, they don't believe in the resurrection of the dead. But you shall stand before God and receive for the deeds done in your body. And a lot of Christians are doing wicked things because of a perverted rapture teaching that you can do all of this wrong and go be snatched out of here. You will face judgment for the deeds done in your body. And those preachers and teachers that have told you that, there's a problem there with their teaching and depravity about that desperately and wicked heart. Jeremiah 17 9 through 11 extortion and access Matthew 23 and 25 He says war into you scribes and Pharisees you hypocrites For you may clean the outside of the cup in the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess they are full of extortion and excess self-restraint self-indulgence and That's why the churches are predicated on money coming. And that's what I say, that was spilled out into society. That's why they elected the president, they elected because money coming. They say economically, this man is better for our pocketbooks, he's better for money. Principles and character and all of these things to the side, money coming. Prosperity in wealth. But we'll see what happens. We shall see. Is this defilement worth it? The fountainhead of all evil, Mark 7, 21 to 20, he says, when I tell you about what proceeds from the heart, all of these wickedness characteristics and everything, if you can't see that these individuals have more than one characteristics that are flawed, and that sin is a pregnancy that has flourished into so many vices. There's so many vices that come forth out of that pride and arrogance. And that's what Nebuchadnezzar was, King Nebuchadnezzar. God punished Nebuchadnezzar. God doesn't punish all of his children. He chastens some. He chastens all of his children. But sometimes those that are Satan, God allows to go on their way. Nebuchadnezzar was a servant of God. So the punishment fell on back to Chazar. not Daniel, I can't pronounce the two names right, but the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar, when Babylon fell, he disrespected God and he was drinking out of the golden vessels that his grandfather had taken in a siege, and he had put them into the treasure and wouldn't use those vessels, whereas he's just, the grandson, as this younger generation, they was talking about generation X or Z, We're living under cursed children. They're talking about the young men and the men that voted and put this administration in. The axe is about to fall, it's gonna be laid to the root of the tree. We shall see, isn't this a cursed generation, they're cursed children. Second Peter says that our Proverbs out pilot next time but there's a generation that's not washed. Oh, let me That verse is found in Proverbs 30 and 12 I started race 11 It says there's a class of people who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers. There's a class of people who who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed from their own filth or sins. There's a class of people, oh how lofty are their eyes and their raised eyelids. That's a class of people whose teeth are like swords and whose fangs as knives to devour the poor from the earth and the needy from among men." So we have a generation of people where we will see social programs like Medicare and Social Security, all of these things cut. But these spiritual people that have money dedicated to Corban, in other words, they make void the commandments of God because of their tradition. There's no respect for the elderly, as I was telling you about Jimmy Kimmel the other day, when he was feeling for those that would suffer under this coming administration. And people like Stephen Smith or whatever, rich and wealthy, he was saying he was joyous and glad or whatever. Usually there's riffraff that the mixed multitude followed the children of Israel out of Egypt. That same mixed multitude caused a division. It caused that whole generation to be lost because they began to murmur, complain, and they started going against God, and they lusted in their hearts and whatever. Only two people out of the whole mass of people that left Egypt kept themselves unspotted from that contamination. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. We have to keep ourselves unspotted from these adulterous people, from these things, and you have to exercise. Jesus says it's better to cut it off, to cut your hand off, to put your eye out. We have to take extreme measures to keep our purity. I told you about Jasper Williams priest's sermon about this animal with this white fur, what he would go through it to keep that fur white. I'll try to get that and go back over it one time if I can. But we must struggle to keep our garments white. We've been washed in the blood of the lamb. That's why they had been washed once, but remember they had to keep washing each other's feet. They had to show humility. They had to be in Christ because you continue to get dirty in the world. You have to wash that filth off you. Don't let it accumulate. Continue to go before God. suffering from evil thoughts. Deuteronomy 30, 15 and nine says, beware that there is no wicked thought in your heart. And these people had, didn't want to pay back during the year of Jubilee because Jubilee was coming and says, beware, don't refuse a loan because the year of debt cancellation is closing in. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy man cries out to the Lord, it will be counted against you. There's those that are wealthy, have good jobs, that there's different programs and things that people will crush you by. It's not the Levitical law now, but there's oppression of the poor that's coming. God's gonna hear these people's prayers and calls unto him. The laborer, I was telling you about this man, Elon Musk, and he's wanted to crush the unions and crush wages and things. But the Lord of Sabor is gonna crush those that hold back from the laborers who thread out our vendors. In other words, our employees and things that you hold back on, deny a living wage. God's gonna pay back for all of these things. We will see Babylon, that great merchandiser, that great harlot, fall from all of these things because of their defilement. Daniel realized this. We have to realize this. He didn't go in to save Babylon. The whole time he was there, even after the Jews went back, Daniel was still in Babylon. Daniel was the one that prophesied that night. Many, many Yukon Toph pharaohs. However, that word that phrase is pronounced. He says your kingdom have been numbered and found one Babylon fell without a fight That was divine intervention whereas the two lead gate was open and Cyrus came in without a fight and The Babylonians was doing just as we do today, drinking and eating. It could be as the days of Noah. Man could be marrying and giving in marriage. That marrying and giving in marriage is not physical marriage because God had sanctioned marriage. But the marriage and giving in marriage is Christian nationalism. It's gonna be the beast, a governmental system wedded to a religious system, which makes a beast world government. When religion unites with the government, other than God, it's a beast world system. This is Babylon. This is the Antichrist. This is against God. So we will be marrying and giving in marriage. The truth will marry a lie. It's going to be as in the days of Noah, the sons of God went into the daughters of men. It's spiritual adultery, it's spiritual fornication. Babylon will fall. Their thoughts and devices, their schemes won't come to pass. Now there's notes here, Proverbs 15 and 26 says, evil plans and thoughts of the wicked are exceedingly vile and offensive to the Lord. But pure words are pleasant words to him. The Lord hates the thoughts of the wicked, but delights in kind words. So God sees the tense of the hearts and the motivation of what's moving man. Proverbs 23 and seven says, for as he thinks in his heart, so is he. His behavior is one who manipulates. So don't associate with evil men. Don't long for their favors and gifts. Their kindness is a trick. They want to use you as their pawn. The delicious food they serve will sour your stomach. So beware, we're in Babylon. You need to pray to God, you need to study God's word, you need to walk circumspectively. The ship, the Titanic is going down. You cannot save the Titanic, save yourself from this untoward generation. That's what Paul says, save yourself from this untoward generation. Jerusalem Jeremiah 14 and 4 and 14 says, Oh Jerusalem, cleanse your hearts while there's time. You can yet be saved by casting out your evil thoughts. But if they become fixed and fitted in without a repentance and a turning to God, God locks that character in sometime. It's fixed and fitted in that you can. He turns you over to a reprobate mind that allowed the day of salvation to pass. In other words, you can't repent on your own. God has to grant repentance. God has to turn you the only way you could be turned. So as I said, man's thoughts and imaginations are continually evil. Genesis 11 and 6 says, and the Lord said, behold, they are one unified people and they all have the same language. This is only the beginning of what they will do in rebellion against me. And now no evil thing that they imagined can be and will be impossible for them. That was at the Tower of Babel. He looked down and seen man united in the evil ways that he was. That's when he separated the language of man, but now he's going to destroy man. And the Book of the Living Bible says, he said, look, if they are able to accomplish all this when they have just begun to exploit their linguistic and political unity, Just think of what they will do later. Nothing will be unattainable for them. The footnote that explains what is said there is that language is based on which science feeds upon itself and grows. This was the beginning of explosion of knowledge, nipped in the bud because of wrong motives and wrong use of the knowledge gained. Similarity with today's world is significant. So God has to nip this in the bud. God has to stop this God rises up and destroys Babylon, but he calls his people out of Babylon But you remember I tell you the calling out of Babylon It's not geographical. It's spiritual So you have to be separated from among them and take no part in their wickedness and in their wicked ways unless you will take part in her place also. Remember, this is God judging. This isn't man. This isn't something your preacher or your president or your mayor or governor can grant you exception to or whatever. You're being judged by a holy God. that God says, I'm going to punish those that sin against me. He told Moses to go on his way. No matter how we intercede, every sin and every transgression we receive is just recompense of reward. Each man is going to receive for the deeds done in his body. Remember Joseph's brother's intent, they thought it was hidden. But Joseph says you did it for evil, but God meant it for good. God sees the intent and the motivation of all your actions and deeds, and he's gonna reward you accordingly. God is not mocked. Heavenly Father,
Defilement from Within
Series Mind, Heart, Thoughts
The conviction that Daniel shows when he had purposed not to defile himself with the Kings food, should be the same with us not defiling ourselves with the Spirit of the Prince of this world (the Babylon that each of us lives in). We cannot eat of the table of the Lord and of devils, which takes on spiritual implication in the New Covenant. We have to not yield our members unto unrighteousness as still being in bondage to Satan.
