Spiritual Boot Camp

We today face an invisible enemy. It's far more deadlier than the coronavirus that is plaguing the world. We are involved in a spiritual battle, a cosmic conflict between the true and living God, and His arch-enemy, the devil! It's a battle between good and evil, right and wrong, truth and error--a battle for the hearts and souls of men. And the outcome has eternal consequences. We, as believers in Jesus Christ, need two essential to wage spiritual warfare: God's POWER and God's PROTECTION. We need to be 'strong in the Lord' and 'put on the whole armor of God." But How does God protect us in our battle. First, God the Father limits our exposure to the enemy! Secondly, God the Son, Jesus Christ,, provides the protective suit of armor. Jesus Christ is our PPE, and we must learn to 'clothe ourselves' with Christ. Thirdly, God the Holy Spirit energizes our defensive weapons, the 'sword of the Spirit' so we can fight off Satan's attacks and He seals us for the day of redemption. The result is that we are fully and totally protected by God. But to practically experience God's protection, we need to follow James' instruction in James 4. We need to submit ourselves to God; draw near to Him; and then resist the devil and he will flee from you! We can be victorious in the battle IF we avail ourselves of the PPE God provides.
