Christ: The Power & Wisdom of God

The simple preaching of the gospel may not always measure up to the standards of what is the most helpful and effective message that the church and the world need in our day. But our job as Christians, and as a church, is to give people the preaching of Christ and Him crucified, even though it is often the very thing that people don't want or think they need. Yet, the cross is the only thing that is effective for the saving and sanctifying of sinners, because it in the power and wisdom of God is active and on full display.
