last days. Now, let me be the first to say I am no prophet. I have no special gift. I am the chief of sinners, the lowest sinner, and I rebel against God internally with my old nature continually. No, I am no prophet, but we may know what God has illustrated what God has unfolded in the hearts of his children, and we must teach it, we must preach it, we must warn, and that is our warning for this morning. Mark 13, verse 13, verse 14, and when ye shall see the abomination Let him that readeth understand, then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains. And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein to take anything out of the house. And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. but woe to them that are with child and to them that did suck in those days and pray that your flight be not in the winter for in those days shall be affliction such as has not been from the beginning of creation which God created until this time neither shall be and except No flesh should be saved, but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days. Thus far the reading of God's holy and infallible word. And in our sermon this morning, then we see the abomination of desolation. We see that there is a time coming for the church in the last days of the last days that shall be horrendous beyond compare. But before we get into that, we must acknowledge the here and now that the great devastation of Hurricane Helena, and that we may extend our condolences, our mind to the devastation that God has shown in this latest judgment. Yes, judgment shall come. God says earthquakes will come, divers, wars, judgments. And we see those judgments in our day mounting higher and greater. Oh, do we hear the voice of God? Do we hear his command? Turn ye, turn ye, why will ye die? For we look at America, this nation founded in, on God's word at the Mayflower Pact, where Elder Brewster has prayed for the nation. Oh, what a blessings have unfolded for America, in the last 300 years, where we may become by the grace of God alone, the greatest nation in all the world. Yes, there is no comparison to the greatness that God has lifted up us up to as long as we followed his word. But now in the last century, we have forsaken God, we have forsaken his word. We have followed after the cunning devices of men, and now these judgments are especially multiplying. But that greatest judgment, sadly, is one that we do not see, that Amos' famine has spread over America, spread over Christendom. Oh, and what is Amos' famine? not laugh at. And sadly, we do not have that in Christendom today. Don't take my word for it. Go back to our godly forefathers and see how we have perverted God's word so greatly in the days judgments of where all fell asleep as in the parable of the ten virgins it says both the wise and the foolish fell asleep waiting because the bridegroom tearing oh we are we may fear in those days today where the bridegroom is tearing And Christendom has lost its anchor because it has fallen asleep, yes. The Bible talks about that time six times in Scripture. Oh, we have it in once in Scripture, we must believe it. How much more we must believe it when God says six times. true faith. Plenty of form, plenty of form, plenty of form faith. Oh, outward faith that abounds as never before in the nation, in the face of the earth. All 197 countries may have the benefit of having some Christendom within their midst. No, it does not mean that every nation and all the nations shall know the gospel, but it means only that the gospel shall have made entrance into that country. And now no country has received a greater blessing from the Pentecost than America. No Christian church has received greater blessing than the American Christendom. And that is why it is so devastating to see today that Christendom has fallen so, so, beginning, we remember those, the devastation of the Hurricane Helena and the many deaths, which may are already over 200, may reach hundreds more because the devastation is still being uncovered. Oh, we pray for those people that the empty places that have that the Lord may fill that empty place. But we pray for Christendom in America, which has fallen so deeply. Here is another judgment of God that he shall walk through the earth in his fury. Yes, God promises to instruct his remnant church with all the information they need to know. at the end of the earth shortly before he comes again. He will instruct his church when the time is right, not one moment before. We know that all the things that the Lord has spoken over 2,500 years ago to Daniel the last days of the last days. He does not say seal them up that they never be revealed, but that they will only be revealed in the last time, the time that the Lord has chosen. Now we know that Jesus meant in this prophecy that he gave on the top of and the Mount of Olives. When his disciples have boasted of the second temple that stood in all of its glory on Mount Zion, Jesus said, see that temple, not one stone will be left upon another. And within 40 years that became true. where the Roman soldiers under General Titus came and destroyed not only the temple, but all of Jerusalem. And Jesus uses that illustration, that parable to illustrate the abomination of desolation, which will be the same sign seen in as will be seen in the days shortly before the Lord comes. Yes, Daniel had prophesied what Jesus said over 500 years ago because Jesus told him what to say by the inerrancy of the scripture. Yes, Daniel And now he speaks about the second of those two events of Jesus coming again on the clouds, which will happen at some very distant future. 2,000 years ago, Jesus said it. We may fear and believe that it is happening today. But again, we see the parable of the ten virgins, both the elect and the non-elect, both the good and the wise, the good and the bad virgins fall asleep. Yes. unto you, that this generation where you will see the abomination of desolation the second time, that this generation in which I reveal my end times, specifically by these signs, in that generation shall not pass till all these things be done. For heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. Yes, Jesus is telling his apostles 2,000 years ago that he will in a few years cause them to remember and to inspire them to write down these details. Oh, using six human writers under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Those details are revealed to you in Scripture. Mark 14 verse 13. Luke 21 verse 20. Matthew 24 4 verse 15. 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 8. Revelations 21 verse 8. Daniel 12 verse 11. Oh, look them up because in these words that the Lord has given us prophecy of the last days, we see God saying, Satan shall be loosed for a season and he shall come with great fury and he shall prevail. Oh, do you hear it? He shall prevail. He shall prevail over the Christian church. It shall be subdued. It shall be lulled into sleep. A form will be there, as we said, and no place in the world do we see greater form than today. but the power of God is missing. The essence of God is missing. Yes, the grand author of all scripture tells us this, that all of these six and seven events listed in the Bible are one synchronized, holistic, immutable description of the Trinity's will. As God outlines in his grandmaster blueprint, his decree from the stillness of a never begun eternity. Yes, obviously. The six human authors God used personally understood very little of the details. of the activities which would surround God's prophecy, both in 8070 and far into the future when the end of the end of time will come. But they faithfully wrote it down for us in Scripture, what God inspired them to, because they knew with 100% confidence and certainty that God's Word shall not return to him void, that what God had spoken for them to write in the Bible would most certainly Yes, there is a day, a year, a month, an hour, a minute, a second, a nanosecond that God has set from eternity when the end shall come, when the earth shall be destroyed and he will create a new earth in one second. Now we have covered a vast amount of material. We need to pause for a moment and look at the two questions that the disciples asked of Jesus. Remember, Jesus is sitting on the Mount of Olives and the disciples say, when shall this be and what shall be questions and they are two dramatically different questions that the disciples asked Jesus. Jesus obviously gives two different answers that have a similar base because both questions deal with the two different times and different parts of the future, the unknown future, and both questions of the abomination of desolation, the mark of the beast as spoken of by Daniel, who lived 600 years before Christ. Has the abomination of desolation found within the temple? Oh, we know in that first temple, in that second temple that was destroyed in AD 70, Titus, the man of wickedness, was the emblem of Satan's work in destroying God's temple. He especially epitomized the abomination of the second temple was destroyed in AD 70. But remember, Jesus said there will be an abomination of desolation, the mark of the beast in the temple, just before the days of his second coming, when he shall come on the clouds. Yes, the abomination of desolation shall be evident in the temple. But then you can ask that logical question, how shall that be? Being as there is no third temple, there has not been a third temple since A.D. 70 when Titus destroyed the second temple. No, but God is using a metaphor, a figurative illustration that the abomination of desolation will be in his temple, even though there is no physical temple, because the Lord means the temple of the heart, the temple where the Holy Spirit lives in, inside, Yes, both of these abominations of desolations have the same root, have the same source, and they shall cause utter devastation. They have They are the same outrageous sin, the same assault against God, within two widely different generations of time. Oh, it is important that we keep all this in mind as we explore through Mark 13 and study these two events, which Jesus is explaining for his church at that time. In 33 AD, yes, these two events, two signs, are critical components for understanding the eschatological events, which God the Holy Spirit is outlining not only in Mark 13, but as we said, in six other places in scripture by six other human authors. Yes, Daniel 12 verse 11 and Mark 13 verse 14 are ground zero in Jesus' eschological teaching as he points out this abomination of desolation, the mark of the beast. For it lies at the very center of understanding eschatology and its unfolding in time. Obviously, knowing what this abomination of desolation is, is critical to the proper understanding and to identifying these two separate events, so vastly separated in time. already 2,000 years ago. However, because it clearly identifies what the Mark of the Beast is, this is exactly what we are trying to identify in this sermon and also in the book I have written on this subject, The Mark of the Beast. In the original Greek, in Mark 13, as Jesus is reviewing over 2,500 years of history, he is telling his questioning apostles 57 separate parallelisms discerning Christian, a Christian with ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to discern, those who are alive at that time will be able to see and know the unfolding of these two events. For both of these abominations of desolations, the mark of the beast, will conclude begun in. Yes, no one may say the time. God the Father alone knows that exact second. But he gives signs. He identifies what a discerning Christian people may look for, may see. Yes, Jesus specifically identifies that last generation. For those who have ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to discern, that they may recognize as they see these events unfolding, and they may react with fear and trembling. No, no, no, I am not a prophet. Oh, perish the thought. I have no special powers. No, no. No, I am the chief of sinners, I reverently admit it far worse than you, O my hearers. O perish even the very thought of such blasphemy. No, all these things I am speaking of on this sad morning are written in God's word. Yes, God often sends and illustrates his revealed message for humanity to even his lowest and most undeserving servants. And yes, this morning I must speak what God has spoken as a faithful watchman or I will receive double damnation of those who have heard or of those who I have deceived. What kind of a false ambassador would I be if I skipped or minced or compromised God's word to our hearers? Yes, then we would be a false prophet. And all of those who skip the full word of God, the revelation, the plague of Amos, the full revelation of God's word. If we skip one word, we skip one iota, one jot or tittle, we are a false prophet. Yes, no, that God often in history has passed over the high and lifted up leaders in his Christian church. Jesus thanks his Father for that spiritual reality against the pride of man, saying, I thank thee, O Father, that thou hast hid this from the wise and revealed it to babes. It is God's will. Those who are so highly educated, so proud of their education, yes, world are the most blinded today in this time. Yes, he has hid this from the wise and revealed it to babes. Oh, we see it in the time of Jesus when his church, where his church leaders, the Pharisees, were the 70 elders of the Sanhedrin who led the Christian Church of Jesus' day. They called Jesus a devil. Oh, and then the apostles slowly, fishermen, not the high theologians, not those who the Pharisees had educated. Yes, whom Jesus condemned. He said, you traverse land and sea. To find one convert to believe is you. But, but, but you have made him twice the devils you are. Oh no! We do not have to depend on the high and wise theologians, the Christian leaders of our day to teach us, for they have so many of them taught contrary to the word of God. Don't take my word for it. examine our godly forefathers from this previous generation and see the vast contrast. Today we honor the word of man, especially in the churches the word of the Supreme Court. concerning the three great sins that have come about in the last 10 years only. The sin of homosexuality, the sin of transgenderism, the sin of same-sex marriage. Oh, God has condemned them over 30 times in scripture as abominations in his sight. Yet, look at your high leaders today in Christendom. Most of the high leaders have accepted those abominations in their church as the new holiness. Oh, do you see why so often the Lord uses the lowest of his human beings to portray a truth that is utterly blinded to the high Christian leaders of the day, and we fear no different today. Yes, the lowest theologian a century ago would understand and warn and alert Christendom to what the apostasy of our day is today. Where it can be feared abominations as truths, abominations in God's sight as the new holiness. Oh, come today, let us turn, let us turn, let us turn. God's judgments are great in the land. The signs of the last generation are all around us. Yes, if we have discerning ears, we may hear, we may hear. the door. Yes, God gives many signs from these six human authors, which his remnant Christendom will see in that day. Yes, that is, before they fall asleep, all of them, all of Christendom shall be asleep, when suddenly they shall hear the the door. Then they shall awaken. The wise shall find their lamps again, and they will find by the grace of Jesus Christ. By grace alone they have oil in their lamps. They have faith, though it had been so buried in their sleep. But the foolish virgins, they look in their lamps, No faith, nothing. And they beg the wise, Oh, give us some of your faith. Give us something for the Almighty is at hand. And the saints wisely say, Man cannot give you anything. Go back to scripture. Go back to understanding the word of God properly. Buy oil. the oil of faith for yourselves. No human being can give it to you. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit. And we see then that Christ comes and opens the door The wise virgins, with their little, little, little bit of oil, are able to enter in. And then we read, the door is shut. The door is shut. Do you hear it? The door is shut. The foolish virgins come to the door and pound on the door, saying, let us in, let us in, let us in. We have preached thy word in all the cities. We have done miracles in the streets. We have done all these things in thy name, O Lord. Oh, but what do they hear? What do they hear? Horrible words, for the Lord Jesus thunders over them. Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity. I never knew you. No, not once. Not before you fell asleep either. You had a Christian form. You had a Christian Actions, you had a Christian culture, but it had nothing to do with me, the Savior. You wanted a king who would save you. You did not want a king who would rule over you. You did not want a king who you had to follow. in Scripture, you did not want a king who condemned your sins. Yes, we may fear that the overwhelming evidence that Christendom is fast asleep today, as Jesus says, both the foolish and the wise. Oh, the spring condemnation, where the President of the United States declared Easter to be replaced by transgender, homosexuality, and same-sex visibility today, for all the world to celebrate as a new holiness. Oh, do you see the horror that has come upon this generation? especially since 2015 when the Supreme Court opened the floodgates and the satanic forces are gathered overwhelmingly against Christianity around all of us today, threatening to bury Destruction of Christendom. Christendom is in an existential crisis today. Satan is obviously loosed for a season and has turned everything upside down today. The world is on fire. Crazy things are done in crazier ways. The whole earth is turned upside down, inside out, and backwards. Testify, people, testify, testify if that's not true. How many of us say, oh, what a change has come over America, over the world, over Christendom. We have never, never seen anything like this before. And to see the President of the United States, as we said this past spring, to overshadow one of Christendom's most sacred days, Easter, with a glorification of that sin of Transgender Visibility Day. Oh, a spiritual disaster is upon us. Christendom has fallen asleep under Oh, I am your spiritual captain this morning, and I am thundering to you. Run, run, run to repentance, run to the throne of grace, run to that mount in Jesus Christ for your safety. There alone can you be saved. Oh, with great fear we must fear that a great physical and spiritual disaster is ready to descend upon us. And perhaps you say, oh chaplain, they have preached that for so many years. And that is true. Faithful ministers win but by the signs we may fear soon but this much you may know you are one day closer than you were yesterday to that day when Jesus shall come on the clouds and all the earth shall And all of those who are not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, the foolish virgins, shall see him in his glory, in his power, in his majesty, in his beauty, and shall see their corrupted, devastating humanity in believing a falsehood, believing a lie, forsaking the scripture. No, we need not be surprised that God has given us in his word this exact scenario of events of Mark 13. Nor do we have to be surprised that even the elect are missing this overwhelming and existential disaster facing us today. For God is obviously sending a great, great, great delusion upon us. As we have identified in over 200 sermons of the 29 errors of this generation of establishment Christendom today, as God has allowed Satan and his angels to be loosed for a season, to try the church, to sift the church, to separate the sheep from the goats, the precious from the vile, the wheat from the tares. That is the purpose of trial, and it is especially the purpose of the last great tribulation. Oh yes, that has been the method of God throughout the ages. How few have ears to hear it, how few have eyes to see it, how few to hear this morning? Has God given you eyes to see this morning? Has God given you a heart to discern this morning? Oh come let us storm the throne of grace the king of Nineveh, saw that destruction coming upon his nation, where Jonah said, yet 40 days and God shall destroy this nation. Oh, he didn't wait 40 days, no, immediately the king of Nineveh commanded that all of his people put on triune one, not to do justice, which they so richly deserved, but to view them in mercy, for Jonah's smoke of the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin. Oh, so we may plead that blood of Jesus Christ this morning Because we are in this relentless onslaught, in this generation of Satan's work, so cunningly disguised as an angel of light. No, scripture from Daniel over 2,500 years ago, as I said, clearly tells us what will happen in the last days of the last days. Yes, the Holy Spirit tells Christendom in his word, in those last days of the last days, they will become so corrupted away from him because Satan that they will make war against the saints. And listen to Daniel's conclusion. I beheld and the same horn made war with the saints and prevailed against them. Oh, do you hear it? Even the wise virgins to sleep. Yes, prevailed means to overcome, means to overwhelm, means to conquer even the saints. Oh, in Revelations 13, verse 7, we see the furtherance of that devastation of Christendom, even more clearly where the Scripture says again, and it was given unto Satan, to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And power was given him, Satan, over all kindreds and tongues and nations. Oh, do you hear it, Christians of today? Christendom will be lulled to sleep, which we may fear is happening. overwhelmingly overcoming even the saints that power was given to satan over all kindreds over all tongues and all nations to lull even the elect to sleep temporarily all slept no it is not my word saying as it is god's holy word God's inerrant word, that not one jot or one tittle can fail. God says this six times. Oh, do you hear his word this morning? Satan shall prevail over establishment Christendom in the last days of the last days. Look around at the utter devastation. The world is on fire. There are wars in Ukraine, in the Middle East, where Israel is fighting seven different nations. Oh, all of these that Jesus illustrates shall come in the last time. But the greatest sign is that all of the elect, all of Christendom is asleep. Oh, it cannot be more clear from scripture that in the last days of the last days, Satan will utterly conquer Christendom, so much so that he will all even, even the elect to sleep. Oh, hear it again out of Matthew 24, verse 22. And except those days should be shortened, should not flesh be saved, but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Oh, hear Matthew 24, verse 24. And there shall arise false prophets, false Christs, and they shall be able to shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as ever possible they would deceive the very elect. Or Matthew 24 verse 21, for then shall be a great tribulation such as has not been seen since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Now, obviously, when you read Fox's Book of Martyrs, you can see that every possible form of physical persecution has already been done against the saints. but it is the persecution of delusion, the persecution of prosperity, where false prophets and Christendom's many, many leaders shall tell you, peace, peace, peace, all is well. You are the children of God, and though everything is falling to pieces, yet you are God's special Can you love him? Oh, it is a lie. It is a gross lie. It is a lie that has lulled even to sleep today. Yes, this persecution is vast indeed. All around the world you see Europe where only 7% even bother to go to church. We see Islam has covered Europe and is covering England where so much of Christendom that came to America has originated from. Yes, this is that persecution such as has never been seen before, a great cloud of darkness covering God's church, where Satan is an angel of light, so cunningly disguised as deceived, So that when Jesus comes again, not my word, but God's word, he says, shall I even find Christendom? 100% of Christendom suddenly hear the footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then they awaken, and then they repent from their sins, then they see their great error in falling asleep, in believing the apostasies of this lull them to sleep. Yes, as we said, then the wise shall find oil in their lamps that grace has placed there, enabling them to enter in the open door with the bridegroom. Oh, listen again. The horror of horrors of those last days, the great judgment of the famine of Listen to Luke 18, verse 8. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on earth? Oh, horrible judgment, Christendom sleeping both the foolish and the wise. No, this is not a vision. No, this is not me speaking. This is the Word of God speaking. Again, I must tell you I am not a prophet. I am the chief of sinners far worse than you. But I must say the message that God has given in my soul. I must emphasize that and confess. that what God has said in his word will come true. Look around, look around, look around at the utter devastation in the earth. Look around at the utter devastation in the Christian church. Clearly, clearly, clearly false Christs have flooded this generation. and have spread a false Christendom that follows the word of man instead of the word of God. Yes, even though they have the form of Christendom and they practice the culture of Christendom, such false prophets lack the power of the gospel, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now we must remember the mark of the beast does not mean a physical mark on one's forehead or on their arm, but rather what directs our head or what motivates our arm into a false religion. Yes, and that can be epitomized so clearly in illustrating our concern of man, just like Germany's ministers Place God's word underneath of Hitler's word. So because of our fear of our 501c3 status and disobeying the scripture, disobeying the Supreme Court's word, we obey the Supreme Court instead of the word of God. Oh, awake, awake, awake, Christendom. You cannot obey God. and obey the government and obey the Supreme Court's word. You cannot do both for that is syncretic and God demands of you and me 100% of your heart Oh, as we close this sermon, then I lift up the authentic scriptural Jesus Christ before you, him who is altogether lovely and chief among 10,000. Oh, he is standing with outstretched arms in heaven, interceding for a sinning people. Oh, do you know that you are sinner, that chief sinner, have you learned it by the Holy Spirit that you are not this good person, you have not this good heart, you have not this good Christian culture, but you are of all men most sinful, that we may open our unclean lips in this morning Pleading with him, Lord, thou art high and lifted up. Thy face which shines as a thousand suns, shine upon earth again. Shine upon thy church and regenerate us. Awaken us up out of our deep sleep. Awaken us today before it is forever too late. Oh, I lift up that Jesus Christ and plead that you also may plead with me, oh Lord, ride through the sin of the corruption of Christendom of this world. crushing all of those sins, awakening the nations as thou dost ride victorious through the world with that Pentecostal spirit that out of thy mouth comes a sharp two-edged sword. of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Oh, today, if you hear his voice, harden not your hearts, for Satan is going out with great power, with great delusion. And I tell you, with all the human being has been given. Awake! Awake! Awake! And flee to the mountain of Jesus Christ. Amen.
