Nehemiah: Praying Through Distress

Because God is faithful to keep His promises and sovereign over all, the first thing we must do in times of distress is turn to Him in prayer, confident of His promised help.

II. Turn to God Immediately through Prayer

1. Turn with your ragged emotions
2. Turn with praise for Who He is
3. Turn with confession of your sin and need
   III. Turn to God with the confidence that comes from Scripture
4. Pray the promises of Scripture
5. Ask God for What you need.
