The Dividing Wall Torn Down

While men have the tendency to erect barriers (social, economic, political, racial, etc.), God removes barriers between men with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ's church, we can focus on the differences that divide us (which would be to our detriment), or we can focus on the Lord who unites us.
Peter's ministry to Cornelius emphasizes that Jesus destroyed the Jew-Gentile barrier and reconciled both groups to God through the cross.
