Prescription for lust

Lust is the strong desire of any kind, especially for what is forbidden but also occasionally for what is good. But the bad version does come with a source, it starts on the inside for what is on the outside. Lust battles against our soul for dominance. The wrong desires will block what we need. That help that we have missed really was there for us. But instead of justifying our own lusts we need to submit to God and His word. The new birth is the starting point for overcoming lust. Run from those things that bring lust. And don’t obey the commands of lust and make no room for it. Has the enemy been putting wrong desires in your mind? Do you need strength to resist? Come to the Master and He will refill you.
