Revelation Series (8) The Antichrist & the False Prophet

Pastor Randy walked us through Revelation 13-14, in which he expounded on the names/titles, attributes, and rise of the Antichrist (1 Jn. 2:18-22). He is referred to in Scripture as the "little horn" of Dan. 7-8, the "king who exalts himself" in Dan. 11:36-45, the "man of lawlessness" in 2 Th. 2, the rider on the white horse under the first seal in Rev. 6:1-2, and the beast out of the sea and abyss in Rev. 13, 17.

The Antichrist will be prideful and exalt himself, speak blasphemies against God and His people, and declare himself to be above all gods; the number of his name is man's number: 666. The number 6 represents the incompleteness and imperfection of man's attempts to be like God. This takes us bac
