He Restoreth My Soul

Everyone is fascinated and pleased to see something restored to its original state after it has been wrecked or otherwise gone to ruin. An old car, or train, or house, or anything that has been discarded and given up as worthless, when it is brought back to life is a sight to behold. God does that with the souls of men and women. He said, "I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm," - Joel 2:25 It is a wonderful thing to behold a soul that was ruined by sin and given up by men as worthless and hopeless, when it is made new again by the One who created it in the first place.
