We doubt that you will find a more finely-tuned or balanced series on pastoral ministry than this one. Dr. Lee Atkinson presents a view of the work of the local church Undershepherd by way of straight-forward Bible exposition. Our Deacons and members of our staff have watched many churches be destroyed by one of two extremes: 1. the "board"-run church (we have not yet found the word "board" in any translation of the Bible), and 2. the church that is controlled by fear of an authoritarian, cultish figure whose hobby-horses and preference get more time than a systematic unfolding of what the Bible said to its first hearers ... and what it says to us as we live our lives for Christ today.
