The Perseverance of the Saints

In the midst of his great gratitude for a very generous financial gift which he had recently received from the Philippian Christians, Paul goes on to especially commend the fact that God’s far greater gift of regenerating grace and saving faith would be brought to completion in the Day of Christ Jesus! Consequently, while we as believers surely and similarly have a myriad of reasons for expressing gratitude to one another and for one another, such gratitude must surely pale in comparison to the thanks and praise and honor and glory and gratitude belonging to God alone for His exceedingly precious promise to us as expressed in that beloved Doctrine of Sovereign Grace, namely, the Perseverance (or Preservation) of the Saints!!!
