Put That On Mine Account

There are many terms that people associate with Accounting, but for most "mercy" is not one of them. When we look at God's Accounting rules, however, we find that where the matter of Accounting for the sin of his people, God's accounting is "merciful" because he did not charge our sins to our account but instead said "put that on my account." As objects of undeserved mercy for Christ's sake, we are to show mercy to others, even as Paul taught Philemon.
