God's Word is Bittersweet

There will occur an interlude midway through the seven-year tribulation preceding the critical time of the final three and one-half years. There will be an angelic announcement that the plans of God previously revealed to the prophets will be finished. The Word of God forthcoming will be both bitter - proclaiming His judgment and wrath on sin as well as sweet - proclaiming the joys of salvation to believers in Jesus Christ. This word of God will have been assimilated into the very lives of believers guiding and transforming them in preparation for the glory to come. It will also be evident through the judgments that the Word of God rules over kings and nations of the world.
