What About God?

We live in a post, post Christian society. Before we can discuss demands God is placing on our lives, we have to establish there is a God. Love in marriage & other relationships are full of evidence but you can't put it in a box aside from a mere word. We can't show the world a physical Jesus but we can show them His effects all around us (John 4:24). We can bring others to our personal experiences w/Jesus as evidence of His existence. Evidence can be mounted in favor of God but others it's the Spirit's job to help others decide if they'll accept that evidence. They must come to a decision point. Evidence #1 - Cosmological, Existence of the Universe requires a starting point. 2nd Law of Thermodynamics shows the universe is not eternal. A reality created the universe. Because the universe began, it must have a cause. The cause must be timeless, powerful, intelligent because of the nature of the universe. Many of these attributes are similar to God which we can conclude God is the cause. If God is the cause, then the implications become personal. God can now makes demands on our lives and we have responsibility to a greater cause. We will meet resistance because those who don't believe in God have a lot to lose if they're wrong. Once we hit resistance then turn back to your personal experience but be careful, many cults turn back to their personal experiences when you resist them. Engaging our society requires prep work.
