Dead in Trespasses and Sin

This message opens with exploring the historical and theological background of the struggle between the freewill and sovereign grace systems. The first point of each is the fall of man into sin. Was it partial, leaving the will free? Or, was it total leaving the will in bondage? Total Depravity or Total Inability is strongly declared in this text. Naturally, man is "dead in his trespasses and sins". Paul didn't say sick, or weak but dead. Sovereign grace is the answer.
