Genesis 4 - Sin and Wickedness Multiply

The story of the first murder actually contains much more important information in it for understanding Scripture than it may first seem. Cain, the literal seed of the woman, actually becomes the first fulfillment of the seed of the serpent in a spiritual sense, attacking and killing his more righteous brother.

We can learn lessons here about taking mastery over our sinful nature, both for believers through the power of the Holy Spirit, and for children to be taught this by their parents.

And is there any more common question, among believers and skeptics alike, than where did Cain get his wife? The information to answer that question, like so many other questions, is contained right here in these early chapters of Genesis.
