Always Ready

If you are a new creature in Christ then you have been changed from darkness into light in the Lord. You are now a child of light (cf. Eph. 5:8). As such, Christ has called you to be a witness of the His grace (Acts 1:8) and to "sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15). The Apostles taught this truth and practiced what they preached. We are not alone in this endeavor for the Lord is always with us.
