The Greatest Sacrifice - Part 2

This sermon is part two of a two-part treatment of this text. The theme of both the sermon last Sunday and this Sunday is that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the world ever and forever. This part of the Bible gives us four reasons the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the world. Last week, we looked at just the first of these reasons, which is that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the world ever and forever, because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ accomplished redemption.

In this sermon we will examine the remaining three reasons:

• Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we receive the inheritance from His last will and testament.
• The sacrifice of Jesus Christ was a one and only once for all sacrifice.
• The sacrifice of Jesus Christ fulfilled God's eternal will.
