Wrapping Up Hebrews

The Apostles brings to an end this blessed communication from God to His beloved people. The theme of the end is "Now." Now serves to connect the benediction and greeting with all the blessed truth the Apostle has communicated concerning the glory, honor, superiority and sufficiency of Christ's redeeming work as the God-man, the Great High Priest, the once-and-for-all Sacrifice, who reconciles us to a Holy God, and brings us into the Lord's eternal presence now and forever more. The benediction given, by the Spirit of God, to the saints who trust in Him for salvation are blessed with the comforting truth that God is with them and will assist them in believing, applying and living according to all that has been said. Through Christ, the transforming grace of God is yours!
