Looking for Our King

Our King died quickly as a ransom to set us free, and His body was promptly wrapped and buried. This calls for a decision from all followers: will we keep looking for Our buried King?

1. Jesus' quick death was eye-witnessed by a group of women who continued to follow Jesus. (v.40-41)
2. A member of the Sanhedrin, who was looking for the kingdom of God, made a bold request for permission to honorably bury the body of Jesus, and the request was hesitatingly granted by Pilate, who had authorized His death. (v.42-45)
3. Jesus' body was promptly wrapped and buried; this was also eye-witnessed by some of the same group of women. (v.46-47)
