Open to Me, My Love!

In our final preparatory sermon, we consider the theme of Anticipation. Christ comes to meet with us and He tells us to open the door of our soul that we might enjoy sweet communion with Him. However, like the Bride, we are far too lethargic, and slow in responding to His entreaties. But the Lord of Heaven invites us to drink and eat abundantly at His Table. We are exhorted to open the door of our soul to Jesus as He invites us to sup with Him.
