God's Holiness in Funerals and Food

This sermon looks at biblical mourning practices and contrasts them with practices of ungodly nations. It then contrasts ungodly food practices with God's holy food practices for the OT and the NT with applications for today.

A Theology of Food:

1. Food does not bring us closer to God (1 Cor. 8:8)

2. Food is not to be your god (Phil. 3:18-19)

3. Practice the purpose of food (Psalm 145:15-17)

4. Eat good food the way God made it to be eaten (Gen. 1:29-31)

5. Love one another (Romans 14)
