The Family and Spiritual Warfare

Marriage and family has been divinely instituted by God and is a means by which God seeks to fill the world with His glory. Thus, Satan desires to undermine God's glory by directly attacking families.

Where does this battle take place?

It takes place in the mind. We must, therefore, guard our minds by renewing it with God's Word and constantly reminding ourselves of and meditating on the Gospel. Men especially must take the reigns and lead their families according to the Word.

What are some necessary precautions?

1. We must be aware of the spiritual battle taking place.

2. We must know the enemy and his tactics.

3. We must know which weapons are ours and how to use them.
