Every day we miss the mark on the greatest commandment to love God like He deserves. He deserves first place in all we do and the way we do it should be pleasing to Him. The second you shall love your neighbor as yourself as quoted from Leviticus 19 verse 18 is the most often quoted Old Testament command. eight times in the New Testament, three in Matthew alone. This is one of the most fundamental laws that God has ever given. Who is my neighbor? All the people who I come in contact with and have a chance to help spiritually or contribute to their well-being. These two commands sum up the Ten Commandments and should be our first and greatest desire as we start and go through each day. Are we doing that?
