Need of the Gospel for Guilty, Condemned Sinners

In this crucial passage we discover that the Jews need the Gospel as badly as the Gentiles. Also that both Jews and Gentiles need the gospel because they are guilty of grievous sin from the inside out. Additionally we learn that the Gospel with its message of saving grace is needed by both groups because the Works of the law cannot justify a sinner. Finally we learn that the Gospel is needed by both Jews and Gentiles because the Law only brings the knowledge of sin. The whole world is held captive to sin, yet the Liberator has come, Jesus Christ our Lord, and he set the captives free from every bondage and every sin.
