Diligent Disciples - Lesson 25 - Presumptuous & Self-Willed. In learning about the certainty of judgment when it comes to false teachers Peter tells us that there is a special class of people who are veing reserved under punishment for the day of judgment. They are those who live in the lust of uncleanness, despise authority, are presumptuous and self-willed, and are not afraid to speak evil of those in authority over them. Before we fall for the idea that this class of sinner is worse than we would or could ever be, let us study the Word and see if these traits are present in our lives!
