In preparation for the morning sermon I would encourage us all to read the short book of Esther. Prayerfully consider how the Lord preserves His church in this book "full of God." There is a lot of help for churches to be found in Esther, especially chapter 7. The catechism will help direct our attention to the providential work of our God in caring for His church
