Haggai (Part 1)

Haggai was a Prophet of Priorities. Haggai in his day called God's people then, the Jews back to their priorities.

In the book of Haggai God's people had an unfinished project… it was the Temple of God in Jerusalem.

Nebuchadnezzar's armies had destroyed the first Temple but God had called His people to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem.

They had begun rebuilding the Temple, but unfortunately they stopped and for around 16 years the Temple lays in ruins as an unfinished project.

God brings Haggai along, I call him a Prophet of Priorities, A Prophet of Preeminence.

A man that puts God first and wants God's people to do the same.
Haggai preaches a few brief sermons over a 5 month period.
