How real is God? In John chapter 1 we read that, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word and Jesus is God. He is eternal. Nothing ever existed before Jesus. He's the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega. And Jesus is self-existent. He wasn't made by someone else. He made everything. He sustains everything. Theologians summarize this by saying that Jesus is transcendent. He's beyond us. Eternal, He's God. Equal with the Father. So how do we respond to that? We worship Him. We follow Him and worship Him with all of our heart. Have you been worshiping Jesus with all your heart? Been holding back, half-hearted, mostly worshiping Him? Maybe it's been a while, but would you just decide today to completely follow Him and worship Him because of who He is? He is the real God.
